Review: This movieserie [stinks] more and more each time a new movie comes out... I never really liked any of these movies (except part 2 wich was a lil' hillarious)... The plot, acting and scares [stinks]! I almost snorred trough the entire movie! So, why am i giving this movie a 3 stars? Cause of some small cool parts here and there in the movie...

Review: This movie is very well filmed. The 'Leatherface' in this one is the coolest one. He's got some weird leg-brace. The starting is very believable. It looks like the man who gets shot, is a good guy. But, he's really evil. That's why I gave this movie three stars. This movie is worth renting. Hoo-Ahh!

Summary: More like a remake of the original
Review: Leatherface is back - and with a new family who feasts on those unfortunate enough to veer off the beaten path. A survivalist (Ken Foree) and two travelers (William Butler & Kate Hodge) fight for survival after falling into their nasty clutches. Nothing great but not a total loss, Ken Foree (Dawn Of The Dead) is very watchable and the film picks up speed during the second half, but nothing really scary. I find all the opening prologues in this series curious: Not only do they all say something different, but I've never heard of these crimes to begin with. Unlike Part 2, this was cut prior to release. Hopefully a director's cut will be offered eventually.

Summary: The most entertaining Chainsaw film ever
Review: This one's an absolute blast!! Leatherface is sawing-up even more bodies in his third opus!! If you watch this one closely, it lends alot to Chainsaw 1, not only plot-wise, but we see Leatherface wearing a metal-knee cast, reminding us of his wound at the climax of the 1974 classic! Ken Foree is here to please horror fans as a man fighting for the right to live! We also get Viggo Mortensen in a great role! R.A. Mihailoff does an excellent job as Leather! " Is it soup yet? "

Summary: Has Its Moments...
Review: While nowhere near the original's chaos and creepiness, this release isn't *that* bad. In the original: -I liked the fact that the cannibal family was straight from the backwoods and totally isolated (not winning chili cookoffs like in #2, even though that is mildly amusing). The notion that if you're lost that sometimes you don't find help and are not always welcome, -That they really didn't give a damn about their victims (seeing them as just "meat", a carry-over from their past in the slaughterhouse, which I found to be a very interesting theme in the original...a hidden message about capitalism and technology forcing the ignorant and unskilled into doing horrific things just to survive? And is all this profit and automization worth it? Again, an intriguing theme, -The look and feel of the film---grainy, shaky, jarring music This sequel does pick up on some of those themes, which makes it a better film than the first sequel (I admit though, that in #2 the family dynamics are funny and make the film watchable). However, this release adds to the Leatherface legacy with a couple key ideas: -An unlimited supply of family members, who will always kill and cannibalize because this is what they do. From one generation to the next (as indicated by the *really* old grandfather, mother, little girl) the killing will go on forever. Also, nice to see some female family members for a change, eventhough their characters are one-dimensional. -That lone girl in the woods, the only survivor from a previous killing spree. If only the whole movie was about this! She was the scariest thing in the movie, this poor girl, trying to stay quiet and hidden, still running and never getting out, physically alive but dead inside. Imagine the whole forest transformed into a demented cemetery, with pieces of people splayed about or struck into the Fraganaude-like poses in the original TCM. Being stuck in there, always dreading hearing that buzz in the distance coming closer and closer but realizing that either way you're going to die and maybe it'll be better if you let him find you instead of going mad delaying the inevitable. *That* is scary. One last thought: The TCM theme has amazing potential. In the hands of a capable director, a real classic could be made. I mean, imagine how good it could be in the hands of David Cronenberg, David Lynch, or Peter Greenaway??? Greenaway's The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover in particular has quite a few qualities that tie in with TCM that I would recommend for anyone wanting a different take on chaos and consumption.

Review: This is the best movie in the series! Uncut is the best, I love the gore! People think I'm really weird for liking these movies, but what can I say? The TCM series is wonderful, I'd recommend every one of them!

Review: but this one is new and gory they got rid of all those cheese one liners and jokes that they had in part two. So in conclusion this is the one you need to get for good gore. Also check out "Dead Alive" awsome!

Summary: Highly Entertaining
Review: I know the first TCM is considered a classic, and I do love it, but the first 3/4 of the film is BORING. The 2nd TCM is uneven at best(though frequently quite funny). The 4th one is the worst piece of filth ever shot out onto the screen. That leaves part 3 as the best in the series. It is never boring, it has great atmosphere, it has better than average acting, and it has a sense of humor about itself. It has been said the the lack of gore in the original release of part 3 makes the film unwatchable. How much gore was in the first film? Almost none if I remember correctly. Well, if you listen to all those who unjustly pan this film, you're going to miss out on a real gem.
