Review: THE REASON THIS DVD IS SO WONDERFUL TO ME IS BECAUSE THIS IS MY FAVORITE 80'S SCARE MOVIE AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT CAME OUT 2 DAYS AGO ON THE SPECIAL REMASTERED WIDESCREEN DVD EDITION. IT LOOKS GOOD AND THE SOUND IS GREAT AND THERE ARE COOL BEHIND THE SCENES STUFF AND RARE CUT FOOTAGE, EVERY FAN MUST HAVE THIS IF THE TCM SERIES IS YOUR FAVORITE. THIS MOVIE IS SO ACTION PACKED AND GORY THAT IT DESERVES AN AWARD! IT IS A PERFECT MUST SEE DVD THAT TAKES YOU INSIDE THE MOVIE, LITERALLY, THE PICTURE QUALITY IS SO GOOD THAT IT FEELS AS IF YOU ARE THERE. THE LIGHTING IS GOOD AND MUI FREEKY. THE ACTING IS PERFECT...A CLASSIC! PART 1 IS AS SWEET AS CANDY BUT PART 2 IS MORE DANDY. THE SECOND PART IN THE SERIES IS MORE FUN THEN EVER AND ON DVD IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA FEW BUCKS OUT THE POCKET. THIS MOVIE IS RELLY GOOD, BUT YOU SHOULD WATCH IT LIKE 5 TIMES SO YOU WILL GET IT ALL. THIS 1 RUNS 100 MINUTES, BETTER THEN 83 MINUTES LIKE IN PART 1. THIS ONE IS ALMOST 18 MINUTES LONGER THEN PART 1 AND IT IS MUCH MORE ACTION PACKED TOO, DUE TO THE HIGH BUDGET. ANYWAY...THIS ONE IS BETTER THEN ANY SCARY MOVIE EVER! THE FIRST 1 IS KINDA JUST AS GOOD BUT THIS IS THE BEST 1980'S MOVIE EVER! 1986, 1987. 100 MIN. COLOR. A TOBE HOOPER RELEASE.

Review: THIS 1986 SEQUEL TO THE 1974 CULT CLASSIC STANDS RIGHT NEAR IT'S LEADER, IT IS JUST ABOUT AS GOOD AS PART 1. THIS SEQUEL HAS A GREAT PLOT FACTOR AND IT IS LONGER...102 MINUTES! THAT'S LONG! ESPECIALLY COMPARED TO THE 83 MINUTE ORIGINAL. THIS ONE POSSESSES MORE INTEREST THEN IT'S BACKER AND OWNS MORE ACTION. THE LAST 20 MINUTES OF THE MOVIE ARE REALY GOOD. I LIKE HOW THIS ONE HAS LOTS OF THAT ACTION IN IT. IT DOES HAVE A HIGH GORE LEVEL THOUGH, SO BEWARE. THIS ONE IS VERY GOOD IN MY OPINION, ALTHOUGH PART 1 IS JUST A SPECK BETTER TO ME.

Review: The texas chainsaw massacre 2 is good in its own way, if your into sick twisted stuff, i myself was hoping this movie to be ultra violent and loads of gore but when i saw it for the first time i was very dissapointed as there is hardly any gore and no features on the DVD which fully sucks as they could have put the uncut scenes in. anyhow this movie is still watchable but a bit budget if you are a true horro fan BUY IT otherwise dont bother.

Review: Leatherface is back! In fact so is most of the family in this maniacal sequel.Dennis Hopper stars as a retired lawman out to avenge the gruesome murder of his nephew , and Caroline Williams plays a disk jockey who helps him locate the butchers. Not Rated but loaded with repulsive gore.

Review: This movie is a absolute knock out! More gore than the first movie, lots of humor and hillarious one liners, chainsaw duels! What more can a Chainsaw fan want? Dennis Hopper is the best part in this movie. I just cant tell you how good this movie is, you have to see it for yourself. BUY IT! NOW!!!

Summary: Chainsaw Fun!
Review: I've only seen an edited version of The Texas Chainsaw Masacre Part 2. And it wasn't that gory. I'm still looking for the full version, so I can rate it three stars if it is good enough. This movie is really hilarious. Chop-Top is the funniest. He fought in the war. Imagine with no food, but dead bodies everywhere, which would he prefer? Bodies of course. I thought he was the guy who got hit by the truck in Part 1. But this was a different man.
If you want to rent this, then I suggest you look at the back of the over first. If there is a sticker that reads something like color/92 mins. Then you're not going to see much. But if there is no length sticker at all, then that is the one to get. I too am looking for that version. There will read a 100 mins. time length if it is the full version, but it ain't a sticker. That is how you'll know.This movie ain't too bad, though.

Summary: It's really bad...
Review: Other than Dennis Hopper being here, what other reason is there to watch this film? I kept hearing how it's amazingly gory and funny, but it's not either really. Sure, there's tons of fake blood being splattered around, and they were done by Tom Savini, but as much as I hate to say, they're unbelievable bad and cheesy. Sorry Tom. Not only that, but most of the humor here really isn't funny, it's just a poorly written knock-off of a black comedy horror film. I guess another "high point" is I now know where Primus got their "He, he, he, Dog will hunt!" sample for Jerry Was A Race Car Driver,but that obviously isn't enough to make a difference. Dennis Hopper is pretty funny at times, but most of that stems from the fact his Texas Ranger character reminds me a lot of Frank from Blue Velvet. Whoever they got to play Leatherface was a disgrace to the work Gunnar Hansen did in the original. And what is with the new mask? It's not half as scary as it was in the first one. It's hard to believe Tobe Hooper lent his name to this, especially since the ending is almost identical to the first one, it's like he wasn't even trying, and just wanted more money on the franchise (obviously). Watch only if you don't mind bad attempts at humor and bad, bad, bad special effects. A major, major disappointment.
