Review: This has to be one of the scariest movies I have ever seen! I mean, WOW! I was holding my breath!! The actors were really good, you could tell they were really scared. I saw on the making that they could actually feel something spooky about the location. Their trembling, it was real. And the last part, I mean, F**k!!! That's all I could get out when I jumped in my seat. They shouldn't have shown the footage of leatherman. It was just too disturbing. Watch this movie, if you want to get scared, not because you're curious. This is real, which makes it scarier. When I got out of the theater, everyone was talking about it. The scariest part is, the case is still open, he might still be out there...

Review: I have been reading reviews from others saying that this movie is based on a true story and other reviews saying that this movie is not based on a true story. Personally I do not know for sure if it is, but what I do know is that this movie was simply incredible. I thought that the special effects were amazing and the story whether it was real or not was very terrifying. To think that this could have actually happened in the same way depicted in the movie makes you realize how sick and twisted this psycho was. At the end of the movie they say that the case remains open to this day and they show you a picture of what they say is the only image they have of the TCM. I believe that someone knows for sure what the deal is on this terrifying tale.I mean there has to be someone from Texas that knows if this really happened or not. I'm pretty sure if something like this happened or didn't happen in my town I would know about it. I know that it has been many years since that time period, but it hasn't been that long where someone can't remember hearing or seeing any of this. All I know is that this movie couldn't have been re-made any better. It is definetly the best horror movie that I have seen in years, quite possibly ever. If there is any one from Texas that reads this, please reply back and let me know if there is actually a house that is believed to be the scene of these murders, and if so is it some sort of tourist attraction?

Summary: Disturbing and Impressing Remake of a Classic
Review: ... Yes, the original is timeless and in a disturbing way will always hold a special place in my heart, but this remake was excellent. It is a different story from the original, and unlike the original, it messed with your mind even more because it showed more in depth scenes of what leatherface was doing to his victims behind closed doors. It was much gorier than the first, but the thing that made the first one so great is that there didn't need to be gore to make it so scary. Well done, very intense, and most of all downright disturbing. Personally i loved it and i encourage all of you who are boycotting the film to give it a chance, it trully scared me...and i haven't been scared in a movie in a long time. ... but at least give it a chance.

Summary: A New Breed of Horror
Review: There is not one word that can really describe the unbelievable intensity and terror of this film. This movie is unlike any other horror movie I have ever seen, and it is one of the few that have really scared me. The original version of this film, in my opinion, was a big dissapointment. It was a bit TOO disturbing, and very boring at the same time. But this movie gave the story a much better name! It has terror, suspense, and a much better type of a disturbing element than the first. This is hands down the best horror movie of the 21st century, and hopefully it will influence other horror producers to stop making pointless films and create a new and inproved horror movie generation.
Don't listen to the critics that say this movie is not worth seeing, because what they say always seems the opposite of how the movie REALLY is! As I stated before, there is not a word that can describe the feeling that this movie gives, so in order to feel it, you will have to see it for yourself. Go and see the greatest horror movie in years, "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"!

Review: this movie was very good. i am a die hard fan of the first 2 TCSM so i really enjayed this. this is based more on the real story of the TCSM. what is good about it is that they show actual footage of the house that leather face commited all these murders in, in the begining of the movie and at the end. this is a gory movie, but it is a very off your seat killing. like how they die is very gruesome. i loved this movie and will say it is one of the best movies i have ever seen. BUT WHAT ABOUT FRANKLIN!!!!!!

Review: i just saw the remake of tcm and hands down it was alot better then the original. the only thing about the original that was scary was the acting and the remake wasnt realy that scary but i havent found a horror movie that has scared me yet. the remake is a must see all though fans of the original might not like it.

Review: To be honest I never saw the original so I can't compare but from what I saw tonight this movie is great! I never scream when I watch scary movies but this one did it. Mostly it's because it's a true story. Now, I know that it probably didn't happen like this scene to scene but the thought of something remotely close to it scares the you know what out of me. It's a must see!!

Summary: Better then I thought
Review: I would have to say this movie turned out better then I thought it was going to. It had some pretty brutal and disturbing scenes in it. The most brutal being when Andy is put on the meat hook. There were a few scenes that turned me off, but all in all, it was a pretty decent re-make of a classic horror film. However, it will never surpass the 1974 original!

Summary: A pleasant surprise :-)
Review: I went into this with really high expectations, due to the excessively cool trailer, (yeah, i know - one can never trust the adds, but this was a really really good trailer.) And while some of those expectations went severely unfulfilled, others were amazingly surpassed. For example, although the (not the original) screenplay was downright god awful, the cinematography was probably the most haunting since that of Se7en. Whereas the musical score was less-than-subtle (that being everything that made the original so good) and distractingly elaborate, the acting was actually quite good. All in all, the bigger budget helped in some places and hurt in others. It wasn't as daring, or in your face as the original, but it was technically superior, and creative in its own right. All-in-all, I reccomend it to fans of the original - but you guys will see it anyway, so yeah... enjoy ;)

Review: To all of you who think this movie isnt based on a true story, your wrong, it is based on a true story but the film makers decided to mess it up a little. The true story takes place in Childress,Tx when 5 teens go out to a abandoned house after prom and are hacked up by a psycho with a chainsaw. His name isnt Eddie Gien, Eddie is a complete different person.
