Summary: The BEST is BACK
Review: ...The plot is that Kim knows about Flight 180 and discovered it was one year ago the plane exploded on the day she was going to Daytona. She watched this TV program that talked about omens, and in the car...strange little signs that her friends haven't noticed reveal a car crash. There she sees everyone become slaughtered in an intense scene. It was just a premonition, just like Alex's from FD.
She stops some people, but not all, 18 cars crash still, but the survivors were supposed to die and ironically she stopped some people who cheated Death before. She meets up with Clear who takes them to the deadly mortician that knows a lot more about Death. He says that bringing new life cancels future dead life. And there is a pregnant woman...
So that's the plot, cheating Death and being stalked by the abnormal force one by one. There is a design for the film though. The people who originally should've died in the car crash die in reverse order when their stalked. There is tons of gore, it made me say "oh..." each time. The ending was bizarre, kinda scary yet funny. There is comedy in, only consider comedy coz of it being in a horror film-not funny in an Adam Sandler thing.
I just liked this movie so much because all the accidents that occur can happen...Accidents happen every day and are never turned into great films like this. And the characters anyone can relate to. Whether you save people on the force, normal college student, a teenager with ADD, a Christian mother, a business lady, a black guy with an attitude, a drugee, or pregnant...Death may be after you and that's why both FDs go together. BUT WE WANT FINAL DESTINATION 3!...the plot is different than all movies and deserves to continue unlike stupid...slasher films...see it, buy it, give as a gift...it kicks...

Summary: If You're Sick Enough To Like Gore Than This Is Your Flick!
Review: Not a very good film...well...that's a bit of an understatement. I mean the plot was not well written and I am being nice here by not calling it just plain stupid. The acting was reminiscent of all of the Scream movies just that the Scream movies were slightly better. The only thing this film has going for it is the gore. I mean the gore is at times outrageous and not so fake looking, so they inspire a whince or two. The ending, well that was just plain lazy, an landing on a table from an explosion. C'mon now, what happened to decent slasher films, death as a main antagonist? Well, it's original, but wait a minute this is a sequel and didn't bother see the first one before I saw this terrible film. I think this film would probably appeal mostly to teenagers or anybody who wants a B-movie saturday night, otherwise stay away and rent if you really must see it!

Summary: Final Destination 2
Review: I loved this one! I did not really like the first one! Except those scenes like that scene when the teenage boy was at the dentist and the crows were breaking the glass! I thought the man would accidentally stab that hook type thing into the boy's gums! I definitely reccomend this one!

Summary: So obvious, you'd miss the smart point of this movie.
Review: Alright, this is the sequel to the 1st movie that literally 'shocked' me...cos I didn't expect it to be the way it is!
MOST people would expect sequels to be silly or just spoils everything...BUT for this one,i think NOT.

First of all, this is a movie. How much time will you sit on that chair to watch it? Hmm..about 2 hours? So don't expect EVERYthing to be shown in that span of time...because in my opinion this movie has come up with several 'death sequences',an interesting story line & a group of different characters and make it to look like one COOL BlockBuster.

Don't be too fast in assuming & deciding that this movie is crap or just a plain waste of thrilling unrealistic time.

The message of this movie is so plain that not many would get the obvious(TRUTH) and interesting topic to discuss and ponder about...which is why the beginning of this movie it starts with 'an interview'....go watch it & LISTEN.

Sure, the characters die in 'clever' ways.
Sure, this movie is rather unrealistic to some of you.

BUT,watch it again and observe properly...

IT's not that DEATH is 'stalking' them back,
but it's just LIFE(the way it is).

IT's not that death is the 'Boogie man',particularly in this movie,
but the people all around us play a part in formulating our "deaths".

Think about it. The accidents, our carelessness, human errors, bad diet,stress,suicide...I could go on....

Go watch 'Vanilla Sky'... :) and you'd know what 'death' is, truly.

Summary: Still chilling
Review: "Final Destination 2" is most enjoyable when it focuses on what this mini-franchise is best at: cleverly conceived, tortuously drawn out death sequences lovingly rendered in CGI. The opening freeway pile-up is more sickeningly real than the original film's plane crash. But this time, without the benefit of originality the writers are forced to engage in some fairly convoluted plot contortions and gimmicky enhancements to make the concept fresh. Don't try to keep up with the pseudo-philosophical musings on the arcane logic of Death - they're just making it up as they go along (and trying not to laugh). Yet despite such lapses this film, like its predecessor, still manages to succeed on a purely visceral level: while other horror movies involve a specific, personified threat which has no presence in your own life, the "Final Destination" movies deploy a very real villain none of us can escape. They turn our own mortal fear against us which, despite the silliness of the concept and some laughable gross-out moments, is surprisingly effective.

Summary: Not my usual fare
Review: This isn't the kind of movie I generally go to. The kind that will obvious be really LITE bubblegum but I actually locked myself out one day and had some time to kill. So I went. I generally like a good double feature so this was the filler feature and for a bad movie it was pretty good. I watched as a pretty high spiritual concept of Death being pre-dtermined and not losing it's focus on a target was played out. Its a bad movie.

Summary: 3.5 Stars
Review: Wasn't as good as the 1st one, but very close. It does have some scary parts, but it's not that scary. It's more gory and funny than scary, but it is still worth seeing for die-hard horror fans, but for serious movie goers, don't expect another Ring or Halloween, or even The Exorcist, and you'll be fine. The plot basically follows the 1st one, and yet it is original at the same time. Oh and buy the way, for reviewers who rate with a point 5, say you saw this and gave it 3.5 stars, but on the star icon you have three. If a number is .5 and above you round it to 4 you morons! Anyway, now that my dad is off my back about this, I would recommend renting it.

Summary: I THOUGHT ONE WAS GOOD , WELL 2 IS GREAT!
Review: IF YOU OWN 1 YOU NEED TO BE SURE TO GET 2!
IF YOU LIKED FINAL DESTINATION 1 THEN YOU WILL LOVE FINAL DESTINATION 2! I SAW IT AT THE MOVIE THEATER AND IT WAS GREAT. HOW THEY DID THE SPECIAL EFFECTS WAS TERRIFIC.ALSO JUST SO YOU KNOW THE ENDING WAS LEFT TO MAKE A PART 3!

Summary: goofy, campy horror (with a well-deserved R-rating)
Review: There's something askew about "Final Destination 2" even before the movie begins, and it has to do with the title: If the "destination" was "final" the first time around, why is there a sequel?

I guess in a world where movies can have titles like "The NeverEnding Story II" or "The Last Seduction II," there can be as many "Final Destinations" as moviegoers have the patience for.

Much like the original, "Final Destination 2" opens with a group of attractive young people narrowly cheating death, thanks to a vividly detailed cautionary psychic premonition: Twenty-four year old teenager Kimberly (A.J. Cook) foresees a fiery multi-car traffic accident moments before it happens and, by blocking the highway, saves the lives of drivers who were supposed to be crunched under 18-wheelers, burned by flaming gasoline and beheaded by logs bouncing off a timber truck.

But Death, according to the movie, does not like to be cheated by vividly detailed cautionary psychic premonitions and, almost immediately, comes to claim the survivors anyway. One by one, they are bumped off by aggressive acts of supernatural fate and coincidence that would make Rube Goldberg proud.

One character is beheaded by a malfunctioning elevator; another winds up on the wrong end of a flying barbed-wire fence; a third almost chokes on a rubber blowfish (seriously).

Only Clear Rivers (Ali Larter) can advise Kimberly and the other survivors and help them stay alive; she may be stuck with an ill-advised name, but she was also the only major character to emerge from the first "Final Destination" intact so... I guess that makes Clear Rivers as much of an expert on avoiding random violent accidents as anyone can be.

Basically, "Final Destination 2" is every bit as silly as it sounds but, to be honest, I really didn't have a problem with that. The movie may be gruesome and improbable, but at least it has a sense of humor (and a semi-wry one, at that), which is rare for horror flicks of late. It's not mired in pretention and self-seriousness like last year's "Frailty," nor is it a by-the-numbers exercise in boredom like "Darkness Falls."

No, this is the kind of movie in which characters say things like, "Norah and Tim are about to be attacked by pigeons," and mean it.

In other words, "Final Destination 2" is sporadically funny, occasionally inspired, amusingly goofy and completely disposable. There are many, many better movies out there to see, but how many of them have characters who rush off to save their friends from a pigeon attack?

I'm guessing none.
