Summary: Does this film make any sense?
Review: I must concur with one of the other reviewers that this film is horrible in many, many ways. The acting for one is terrible and I think that the wooden, uncharismatic Devon Sawa was a really odd choice for the lead role. His mundane performance was however perfectly set off by the incredibly macho over-acting of Kerr Smith. But, I get sidetracked. Ok, so this film will make you jump, and you will be on the edge of your seat despite the fact that after the first half an hour the rest of the movie is painfully predictable(you find yourself just waiting in anticipation of the next set piece death scene).I think that this really distracts from the fact that this film makes no real sense at all, and the ending, my God, what???? What actually happens, has he broken this great design of death or did the scriptwriter have a heart attack before he penned the last scene. Oh, and did anyone follow Alex's whittering about seat numbers? It annoys me that people come out of this film and think it is in some way, deep.'It really made me think', did it?, did it really?, are you a philosophy student? The concept of cheating death was woefully un-thought out, caught between some concept of fate and lots of supernatural gravity defying toilet water (?). Is it fate, or is it supernatural and how can it be both? And what is the deal with all of the messages, Alex's 'gift' goes from dreams, to having messages spat out from fans onto his lap. Is this fate too? I didn't find Janes Wong's treatment of this very convincing. Best of all though, how come no-one saw the speeding bus, they were all looking at it, must be fate! Perhaps that came out of the toilet too. Alex's fellow 'wierd girl' does drop the most incredible line in any film ever, just after the plane crash: 'he's not a witch'.....what!!...where the hell did that come from. This is a great idea for a film but is handled badly, of all the teenie slasher horror of the last couple of years it should have been the best. Enjoy this film but come away afterwards and ask yourself if this movie really makes any sense.

Summary: WOW
Review: I loved it. I TRULY ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT.

Free of hype, this AWESOME cult-ish film was so cool to be in on - I went opening weekend and I can honestly say that this was the first time that I've covered my eyes in a scary movie in a LONG time. For those of us who are at all superstitious, this movie makes you question every move that you make.

Despite some of the other reviews that I've read, this movie seemed a little less gory than others out there (Idle Hands, for one). It had an awesome premise, and it totally blew me away. It was so fateful but yet so undeterminable it was horrifying, and I don't think that I'll ever be able to hear another song by John Denver without getting the chills...

Summary: Nearly freaked out.
Review: Wonderful movie with a great start that draws you into the hair-raising plot immediately. Sit tight cos' the bloody scenes may be too much for your eyes too take. An eerie and perhaps satanic (though I dun really think so) storyline... I think it has sound impact on your thoughts after you've watched the movie. Maybe in a way, you'll become more paranoid?

Anyway, this is certainly a fantastic film to watch. Also, the actors's commendable acting do add to the spine-chilling effect of the film...

Summary: Perfect
Review: This movie must be one of the best I've seen in a long time. It's tipped to be scarier than Scream, but I'd disagree, it's not scary like Scream was, it's shocking, it's the unexpected that shocks, not the senseless killing that Scream fightens with.

Kerr Smith, in a departure from his character of Dawson's Creek is excellent, as are the other actors. It's believable, it's shocking, and it's fresh.

Summary: A good attempt but not a classic by any means.
Review: Visually stunning with an interesting plot. Unfortunatly if you are following the rules and cules in the film it will lead you to realise that the film makers didn't really follow any. A very unfortunate ending which I myself would like to see an alternitaive for. This film is a one watch movie but it's worth it for that one time.

Yet again however if you have seen the clips you know the story...

Summary: Spooked
Review: A friend told me that her guy friend wanted to leave in the middle of the movie because it was too scary. I thought this would be good as I had not seen a scary movie in ages.

Final Destination again reinforces the fact that many things in life are beyond our control. Devon Sawa plays Alex, the "psychic" who saves a handful of students and a teacher from a plane disaster. Labelled a freak and outcast because of his vision, things do not get easier for him as one by one of the group of survivors die. A coroner told him that Death has a pattern and Alex is out to find it and break it.

The movie got me paranoid after I stepped out of the cinema, looking left and right, expecting a car to come at high speed at myself in the carpark and on the roads.

When is it MY time? Can I avoid it? How will it come? These were some of the questions that waved at the disturbed senses of my mind. I was spooked for quite awhile, and even as I write this. Watch for a slight tinge of supernatural element and the graphic scenes that may haunt you.

Acting wise, the cast is mediocre and there are some unbelievable scenes, such as how does a bus come at high speed at someone you're talking to right infront of you, without you knowing and warning them? Unreal.

Trivial matters aside, an enjoyable movie. I'd hold Teddy close to watch this and be careful, don't spill that drink.

Summary: Terrible!
Review: This was a horrible movie! I don't see how anyone could give it more than three stars. It was hard of enough to me to give it just two. It was a terrible movie, following the same blueprint as SCREAM, except this movie's excuse to kill teenagers is that 'they cheat death', but 'it always comes back for you'. Give me a break. I don't know what anyone else thinks, but I believe death does not have a design. When it's there it's there, it wasn't meant to be there from the beginning. The acting in this movie was also horrible. I'm sure all the teens will love this though :)

Summary: Scary and cool stuff!
Review: Let me get this out of the way, it scared me far more than Scream 3 did! This is a showcase of unknown talent in a witty, very cool teen horror flick. This is very gory, so avoid if you don't have a strong stomach! James Wong is a director for the 21st century, no doubt about it!

Summary: A Fantastic Movie!
Review: Okay, you probably think I'm insane but I saw this movie 3 times because I loved it so much. The plane crash was just incredible and so real! I was shaking the whole time. The actors (especially Devon Sawa) were great. I also enjoyed seeing Ali Larter (Varsity Blues + House on Haunted Hill) and Kerr Smith (Dawson's Creek)I would highly reccomend this movie.

Summary: THREE PAIRS OF PANTS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: Okay, normally I feel a fool when I get a scare at the movies and jump off my seat. Thankfully, everyone at the cinema was jumping off their seats as well making it look like we were doing an Mexican wave. This film is a one-stop ride too soiling your pants!

Let me ask you a question! Do you like your movies well scripted, fast, furious and seriously funny? If you do, go see this! The humour didn't feel out of place, the dialogue is witty and keeps you interested. In fact, this is one of those rare movies when you don't even check the time or fidget in your chair!

I don't wanna give too much away but I seriously recommend this film! The death scenes are more elaborate than Scream and when they're over you're still thinking about them after there long gone. That's how un-nerving they are!

Look out for a cameo from the 'Candyman' and basically don't worry about jumping from your seat! Just sit down and relax cos I garauntee that after this your blood pressure is gonna be sky high baby!!!!

Go see this, you won't be disappointed!!!!!!
