Summary: Good...for a horror movie!
Review: I really enjoyed this low budget filming masterpiece. This film has basically not one drop of blood, but it does not need it. This film revolutionized horror films, and if you watch this film on Halloween night with the lights off, I guarantee you will be paranoid to get up when the film is over, because you know Micheal Myers is waiting for you behind a closed door. BOO!

Summary: Cool!
Review: A little boy kills his teenage sister one halloween night. The boy was sent to a mental hospital, but after fifteen years, he escapes and goes back to his old hometown... to the place where he got his first taste of taking a human life... and he wanted more!

A very good movie. Very little gore, good camera movements, great performances by the actors / actresses, and scary music in the right places of the film made this movie very entertaining!

Summary: A true showcase for your DVD player.
Review: Halloween has always been my favorite horror movie and one of my top 5 favorites of all movies. Ever since I saw it on tv when I was 5, the theme music, the doctored up Shatner mask, and the voice of Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasance) has brought back some wonderful and very horrifying memories. I have bought it on vhs twice and watched the laser disc at a friend's house but nothing compares to the Restored THX certified DVD edition. The picture is so clean, that the only thing that reminds you that the movie was made in 1978 is the clothes and hair styles. The second disc (which is not easy to obtain since it was only released on a limited basis) is the TV version with a couple scenes thrown in that are not in the theatrical release. Since the first time I watched this movie was on TV and I have a tape of it, I am used to these scenes and they are nothing new, but they kind of add a bit to the story (the whole sister element). The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a commentary by John Carpender, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Deborah Hill (Which the Criterion Laser Disc has). Still I recommend this version over that one any day. _

Summary: The Very Best Horror Film.
Review: The atmosphere that this film creates is fantastic. The performances are great, I mean this is how teenagers act. And when a film doesn't have to show blood and guts and still gets you spooked and creates a character that is a part of our culture, over 20 years later is a major accomplishment.

Summary: The night HE came home...
Review: Halloween - a classic horror movie of the late 70s and the start of a whole load of imitations. Michael Myers is way better than Hockey masked Jason, this film is considered one of the best horrors ever , but I found it slow in places. Still Brilliant!

Summary: Halloween a pure original, nothing better
Review: When I first saw this movie,I knew no other movie with an insane killer in it could compare. The plot is the best you are ever going to find. A movie about a day that every one should be wearey about. Jamie Lee Curtis, and Donald Pleasance couldn't be better. You should also take note of the director, John Carpenter. He is one of the great's along with George Romero.

Summary: HALLOWEEN- THE SLASHER MOVIE THAT TERRIFIED A NATION
Review: Penned by John Carpenter and Debra Hill in 1978 neither writer would never have realises how famous this slasher flick would become. To date several sequels have been added to its original, which are not half bad to say the least. Enough about that it is time to review Halloween in detail. This film to be quite honest, scared the wits out of me. Michael Myers, institutionalized for the murder of his sister escapes 15 years later. His doctor (played by the late Donald Pleasance) makes every effort to catch the psychotic killer before anyone falls victim to him. Jamie Lee Curtis (her debut movie) plays Laurie Strode, the person Michael Myers is mainly after. this film is very exciting, full of surprises and I was very pleased with it. The music really sets the scene of a crazed stalker killer coming to kill and kill again. Get out the popcorn leave the lights on when you watch this movie! It's not for the fainthearted.
