Summary: Halloween - Watch It Now
Review: Halloween is without a doubt a real shocker. Set in Haddonfield, Illinois, it is about a six year old child who, after murdering his older sister, returns from Smith's Grove Sanitariam 15 years later to continue his bloody rampage.
I like this film not only because it features Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasance and P J Soles, but because Michael Myers, the killer, is nothing but pure evil. Personally I find that quite disturbing - that Satan has been incarnated in a scary mask, boiler suit and carrying a shining butcher's knife. The POV's are good, and as there always is in the best of horror movies, there is in this one of course a big chase through the streets. The theme tune, though very simple, is really quite frightening and, combined with the lighting effects and the whole creepy gait and evil, makes this one a real scream of a treat.
What is also an excellent feature of this film is that in other films, like A Nightmare On Elm Street or I Know What You Did Last Summer, there is a lot of blood and gore, but in this one, there isn't. And that doesn't make it any less terrifying.
So, please! All you horror fans out there, search now for Halloween and buy it right NOW! It is positively a true classic.

Summary: if not the best, what is it?
Review: This is the greatest scary movie of all time in my view. The acting is almost perfect. Jamie Lee Curtis is a great actor and also great for the starring roll. I bought this movie in October 2001, and I watched it 3 times on Halloween night. Micheal Myers is my favorite slasher of all time. The end is my favorite, but if you haven't seen this I won't spoil it for you. Anyways, if you haven't seen this and your a fan of slasher films, try to buy it, to me it's worth every penny.

Summary: The Legend of Michael Myers is Born
Review: Legendary movie director John Carpenter produced this low-budget film which has become a horror movie classic. It stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasence. The plot is fairly simple. In 1963, Michael Myers murdered his older sister. After spending fifteen years in a mental hospital, Michael manages to escape and he returns to the town of Hattonfield, Il, where he goes on another murderous rampage, this time selecting young teenagers as his victims.

Scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis stars as Laurie Strode, a bookwormish high school student who can't find a date and volunteers to babysit for some of the neighborhood children on Halloween. Some of her friends are babysitting as well, and they keep each other company by talking on the phone. However, Michael is determined to break up the fun, while Dr. Sam Loomis (played by legendary actor Donald Pleasance), tries in vain to find Michael and return him to the hospital.

This is the first truly "scary" movie that I can remember watching, and it has become a classic over time. The sequels that followed were no where near as good as the original. The music and the dark scenery are what make this movie so scary. The actors do a good job as well. This is a must movie for all true horror fans.

Summary: Like to be scared???
Review: If you like to be scared, this is the movie you want. "Halloween" is one of the greatest horror films ever. Not only will you like this "Halloween," but the whole series. The movies just keep getting creepier, all except "Halloween 3", don't watch this movie it will bore you to death. It dosen't even have anything to do with Michael Myers. There are nine movies counting "Halloween 3." If you watch the whole series you won't be able to move.

Summary: HALLOWEEN!!!
Review: Doesn't matter wich version you buy, it still scares the .... out of you! This is not the scariest movie ever made, but it is one of the scariest movies ever made. Scarier than Psycho, but not scarier than The Shining or The Exorcist. The Exorcist is based on a true story, The Shining could happen (especially if you're an achoholic) and Halloween is scary because it is so real. This is one that every horror fan should own. Contrary to popular belief, Friday the 13th didn't rip this off. The first 3 didn't, but the rest did. While Michael Myers pales in comparison with Jason Voorhees, he is a heck of a lot scarier, and has a much scarier movie. Jason is probably the most notorious serial killer of all, Leatherface (Scariest Slasher Villian) is the sickest, Freddy is definately the smartest, but Michael is the most unpredictable of all of them. You don't know if he's gonna kill you or not. This is definately one of the scariest movies ever made, and I would recommed this to everybody. Watch it alone in the dark!!!

Summary: VERY SCARY[.]
Review: This is an amazingly scary movie! The BEST stalker movie! No Friday the 13th (well the first one at least) didn't rip-off this. Definately one of the scariest movies ever! Texas Chainsaw Massacre is probably the scariest slasher, but this is definately number 2. This is a very scary movie that I enjoyed alot, and I'd definately recommend this movie to horror or non-horror fans alike.

Summary: TIED WITH THE SHINING, the best horror movie ever!
Review: Halloween was great. But it always seemed a little too short with a narrow plot. But now that i purchased the new version with 12 minutes of extra scenes it seems even more enjoyable. Simply the best horror movie ever, if you havent seen it and like thrillers, slashers or just great historical moviemaking landmarks, see Halloween.
