Summary: Disgustingly bad.
Review: Deemed as the worst Halloween film ever! Here are some of it's faults: 1. Too violent. The Halloween films (1 and 4 at least) are supposed to be tame. 2. Not scary or suspenseful.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: My 2nd Favorite HALLOWEEN movie
Review: The plot was good (sadly one of my fave charectors, Rachel Carruthes, gets stabbed in the chest with scissors), acting was cool, but HALLOWEEN 4 is my favorite. I don't know why, I just love it!!!!! A great movie. PLEASE RENT HALLOWEEN 4 AND 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: A good film, but the scare factor has gone.
Review: I thought the first Halloween was the scariest film I'd seen for many years at least. Part 2 was pretty creepy as well.

Then, after Part 3, which had nothing to do with the first two films, Michael Myers returned. But somebody didn't realise that what made him scary was the fact that people like him, with animal-like lack of reason or conscience, really do exist in society and stalk the shadows.

However, by the time Halloween 5 appeared Myers was just another unkillable Jason-type mass-murderer, a figure of fun, totally unscary because he lacks credibility. In Part 5 he is after his niece and has some kind of psychic bond with her, allowing the now-scarred Dr Loomis (he and Myers unbelievably survived the inferno at the end of Part 2 with only minor burns) to find his former patient. There is also an enigmatic gunslinger walking around kicking dogs and scaring little boys.

Though this is a lot better than most of the Friday the 13th films, what lets it down is its overblown humour and the fact it often becomes slow. It's entertaining if you're a fan of the series, which I am, but I'd advise anyone looking for serious horror to look elsewhere.

Summary: The worst of the Halloween Series
Review: As others have already said, this movie had no intentions but to make money. I mean, why was Michael killing all of these people that were not even in his way of getting to Jamie. Plus at one point, Michael was at the clinic that Jamie was at and decided to go chase Tina to a party. I didn't understand that. I'd reccommend this only so you can see what happens to Michael not because of its meaningless content.

Summary: Halloween 5 - Quest to Invent a New Plot
Review: This movie was terrible. I must agree with a prior review stating that this movie reduced the great Halloween story to something as stupid, pointless and loosely tied together as Friday the 13th (any number there is a loser). While Dr. Loomis did a good job, I hardly think that makes this movie worthwhile as some have said "At least Dr. Loomis was good". Well he was, but I still don't want to see that again, and this is one of the only rental flicks I have ever wished I could return within 3 hours for all my money back. If you are interested in Halloween, Check out (1,4, H20) even part 2 was better than this, and I thought that degraded the story. The non explained tie ins with this "man in black" and how he ties into the late part of the movie is really lame. Why not just have a spaceship blip an Alien into Haddonfield to help Michael, that would at least be more inventive. Another review claimed that the video lacked certain scenes from the reel movie. Well I hope that is the excuse, but I hardly see how a few cut scenes could make up for all this oatmeal.

Summary: Not Great, But Atleast Scary
Review: Halloween five takes place a year after 4. This movie tells about why Jamie Stabbed Rachael at the end of the halloween 4. Ofcourse Michael Myers is still after her. Dr. Loomis once again returened. If it wasn't Loomis, this movie would be garbage. Anyway, In this movie Dr. Loomis has a love moment with Michael. Also the Myers house in this movie looks like a gothic mansion. the movie overall is not to great but it is one of the scariest of the series. This movie is great for diehard halloween fans. For non-horror i thinks it worth a shot!

Summary: Horrific. Horrifying. Horrible
Review: The halloween saga has reached it's lowest poiny ( not including Halloween 3). The movie just wasn't good. No suspense. Rated R for really bad movie.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Halloween 5 is not as "Halloween" as the rest
Review: In the 5th installment in the halloween series Mike is back and with a vengence (and a new mask) Where he continually stalks his neice in a mental institution. This sequel is a totally unnecessary and is a disgrace to the others in the series. (It also has way too many endings) On the good side it is scary and features a brlliant performance by a young starlett (Danielle Harris) Worth a Rent and a must for fans.

Summary: ONCE AGAIN, AN ENTERTAINING MOVIE, BUT NOT THE SAME
Review: I am a huge fan of the whole halloween series, but i have to say they got decreasingly worse as the series went on, and i feel that this is the worst one, excluding number three, which was such a complete travesity that i could not bear to finish watching it. They lost sight of the whole Myers saga in this one, the telepathic bond, was a pathetic plot twist, there was no innovation as in the first one, but it was entertaining, and a chiller none the less, i neve get tired of it, it just dissapointes me that the movie is so flat, the plot never thickins, he just kills and kills the obnoxious teenagers, to get to the little girl who cannot act to save her life. Watch the movie, but i wouldnot recommed this movie, for anyone trying to get a taste of the true halloween experience.
