Rating: Summary: Close But No Cigars Review: I saw this movie the day it was releasesd in the US and I was disappointed. I am a Die Hard fan of the Friday 13th Series, I went in looking to have nightmares, but I came out with a sore abdomen from all the laughing. If you're looking for a suspensefull comedy this is your movie, but If you're looking for heart stopping horror look else where. All and all this was a good comedy, but it is not what the true Jason fans are used to. Lots of blood, but not enough suspense.
Rating: Summary: ENOUGH ALREADY!!!! Review: This is a big disappointment. After being a long time, die hard fan of the Friday the 13th series, I was shocked after seeing this. This movie completely defeats the whole purpose of all the previous Friday the 13ths. Even worse, the creator of the first Friday the 13th even took part in producing this [moovie]. They shoud have just stopped after Part VIII. But I have to admit Jasons killing gets more creative in each following sequel. But thats not enough. Jason and Friday the 13th are suppose to take place at Camp Crystal lake...NOT in SPACE!
Rating: Summary: space terror, jason x, great! Review: the character and space blend in well. i wish the character did more punchings and kicking as compared to just slicing his victims. jasons new hockey mask and battle gear is nice looking. the sex is down, the film for me was worth it and i recommend it to all. i hope that jim issac takes jason voorhees back to space because the krystal lake scene for me is really old and washed up. jason voorhees should be in space for a long time.
Rating: Summary: Jason X Review: I loved the movie. Its a 80's style horror flick. If you love slashers you will love Jason X, if you want a movie with good acting, good plot, and good character development, this isn't your movie.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: I thought this movie was awesome. I am a major Jason fan and waited for this movie for months when I discovered it existed. I was excited but prepared for disappointment, the whole idea of Jason in space wasn't all that appealing. I only have one big problem with this movie. In Jason Goes To Hell, Jason well duh goes to hell, so I was hoping for some sort of explanation to him no longer being in hell, how did he get out of hell? No explanation at all. He just ends up being chained up at the Crystal Lake Research Facility. Ignoring that, I really enjoyed the movie. I don't think any Jason fans will be disappointed, that is, if they are a true Jason fan. Its not the first time the Jason movies left holes and certainly not the only horror movies to do so. As for Jason in space, well, it will make total sense if you watch the movie, so sit back, enjoy, and go see Jason X!! I look forward to its release to video and DVD.
Rating: Summary: Very Good Flick Review: Jason X is the best and funniest one yet. Even though it is a horror it has some funny parts. I guarantee Jason and his new mask will return yet again for more sequels.
Rating: Summary: I REALLY hated this peiece of ...! Review: Okay, don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of the Friday the 13th slasher filcks but this is just plain ridiculus. The plot takes place in the far future (or near, depneds on how you look at it) and ol' overused Jason is back to cut people to shreds. Sound familiar? There is NOTHING new here! The weak plot is not the only thing that gets a one-star slump, but the music is, well, I don't use profanity in my reviews so I'll just say it's completely nerve racking. The acting in Jason X is terrible, it made me crack up several times in the theatre. Paying tickets to see Jason X was a big mistake of mine. My freinds hated this movie too. Wanna see a decent horror film? Then stay far away from this and go watch Halloween, Psycho, the original Friday the 13th, or anything else.
Rating: Summary: More Horror.... Review: This movie was very good. It would have been a 5-star movie but it was lacking one important thing or should I say not enough of... Horror/Suspense. In the past or most past Friday the 13th movies Jason would pop out of no where and just kill somebody. Now it is not as suspensefull you kind of "see" him coming. But it is still a very good movie. This movie had something that the past "Jason Movies" did'nt have, a seen that was funny as hell as he was killing "somebody" in sleeping bags. I'm not going to describe it in detail and give it away if you have'nt seen it unlike some of these inconsiderate dumb [people]. But this is definitely a must see.
Rating: Summary: JASON X Review: Seen the original friday the 13th at the drive-in when it first came out and was blown away by tom savini's grusome special effects.seen all the sequals at the theatre and drive-in's as well....enough said. This new sequal is GREAT! If your a fan of the series or a fan of the slice and dice genre you will love this flick. The best in the series yet.By all means go see it at the theatre. You will be amazed lots of suprises!
Rating: Summary: The ultimate dark comedy! Review: Well to start off I've seen the first two Jason films and no others, and I still loved this. This film had fantastic kills, and plenty of killer laughs. I really don't want to spoil anything, but what you've got here is a sometimes frightening film that'll make you jump as many times as it'll make you laugh. A TV grade cast does reasonably well here. Lexa Doig is interesting as Rowan, Lisa Ryder was fantastic as Kay-Em, Chuck Campbell does the nerdy thing well, Peter Mensah is a killer marine the best since Michael Biehn in "Aliens". Flashy directing by Jim Isaac and great effects for its budget make this baby a great entry into the summer films.
