Summary: wicked awsome
Review: Jason X is the 10th and hopefully not the last in the Friday the 13th series starring everyones favorite serial killer,Jason. This lastest installment features the hockey masked madman in space.I was disappointed when I first heard that he would be in space and not slicing and dicing in his home of Camp Crystal lake. But after seeing the movie in theaters,I was not disappointed. This movie was wicked awsome.Jason kicks major [rear] in this film.We get gore and nudity and everything else. The only reason i'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because of star Lexa Doig. She's one hot babe but she doesn't show off those melons of hers.We get to see her impressive cleaveage but not full frontal. Why?

Summary: Fairly entertaining, better than expected
Review: Nine years ago was Jason's supposed "Final Friday", but the folks at New Line decided otherwise, and thus we have Jason X: the tenth entry in the long running slasher series. Though this installment spent nearly two years on the shelf, and it seems many a death scene was either re-filmed or edited, Jason X is still loads of fun due to the fact that writer Todd Farmer, director Jim Isaac, and the cast take none of this seriously. After finding no way to kill Jason (the film seems to ignore anything that happened in Jason Goes to Hell), military autorities and scientists decide to cryogenically freeze the immortal killer, and naturally the blood starts to flow. Jason (Kane Hodder returns once again) and the beautiful Lexa Doig (TV's Andromeda) are both frozen together and awaken in the year 2455 by a team of students on a training mission through space. Jason gets loose once again, goes on one of his good 'ol killing sprees, and gets a new look as well. Some other horror franchises that take a chapter to space have not fared well at all, examples are Hellraiser: Bloodline and Leprechaun in Space, but Jason X is a fun thrill ride. Jason X is nowhere as gorey or violent as some of the other films in the series, and like I said before it seems some things were left on the cutting room floor. The acting is pretty crummy for the most part, which has come to be expected by now with this series, but for the most part Jason X is fun when not taking itself seriously, but those who do take this film seriously (which will most likely be the same people that took From Dusk Till Dawn seriously) will absolutely hate it. All in all, Jason X may not be the best in the series, but it is a good addition, and for the most part delivers the goods. The DVD features are worth noting as well: the commentary by Jim Isaac, writer Todd Farmer, and producer Noel Cunningham is nice, while the original documentary The Many Lives of Jason Voorhees is very insightful and is a treat for older horror fans. Look for acclaimed director David Cronenberg in an ill-fated cameo in the beginning of the film.

Summary: Wicked!
Review: Cool film! It doesn't take itself seriously (well onbviously, its about a guy who has killed about 200 people, being frozen, and then waking up on a space ship 455 years later, and starts killing eveyone: all of which happens after he should have been killed thousands of times already, by attacks made to him by the heroines of the earlier sequels! Plus he went to hell!)
Obviously this film could nver be realistic but who really gives...? The actings is great with new refreshing chracters, the killings are fantastic and it is obvious that alot of money went into this film! It is action packed and suprisingly, it often delivers serious shocks!
The best thing about this film has to be the dialogue. The in jokes and witty remarks had me in fits. Jokes are even made by victims as they meet their sticky end eg: the girl who shouts "This sucks on so many levels" before dying horribly (yet inventively).
I only saw this in the cinema, and I havn't checked out the DVD yet (its not out in the UK yet) so I can't tell u about the extras, although I hear they are very good.
Buy this. Shut your brain off, get some food and turn out the lights - be scared and amused by this clever masterpiece of horror/comedy. Its fantastic!
ps. I may have made many spelling errors coz I typed this very fast, but I can't be bothered to look for them :)

Summary: I can't believe I liked it...
Review: Some movies have to be judged entirely on their own merits. You can't watch them and expect them to be anything other than what they are and fairly comment upon them and this is one of those movies.

As the name indicates this is the 10th movie in the series and here we find Jason Voorhees, the unstoppable killing machine, being cryogenically frozen along with one of his captors. His captor is awoken hundreds of years in the future on a transport ship. Her pleas to have Voorhees dumped from the ship are ignored and before you know it Jason has thawed and is making up for lost time killing people left and right.

I have never really been a fan of this series. I saw the first one and found it confusing and have periodically seen parts of the others and found them a waste so I viewed this one with some fear. I knew a friend gave it to me but was I wasting my time? Not really. The movie is actually fairly well written. Sure the plot is overall silly but within it's own context it works. The jokes are funny and the killing scenes are new and unusual (the sleeping bag had me fall off my chair laughing). Some of the dialogue is amusing and the introduction of the android is a treat. It's not the greatest movie I have ever seen but it certainly isn't the worst and fans of the series shouldn't be at all disappointed with this entry.

Summary: Jason in space, whats next? Jason versus Aliens?!
Review: - Jason X is a typically lets-take-this-franchise-into-space movie (Like Hellraiser: Bloodline and Critters 4). Tough, i found this movie better than the last "space-horrors"... Course it comes NO WHERE NEAR the original... =) Tough good music, good special effects, and the UberJason (!), i'll have to give this movie a 3 stars... Some actors were a bit dull, and the storyline was really bad. But, its a good popcorn movie...

Summary: Good old fashioned fun
Review: Kick back, grab your popcorn, and turn out all the lights. This is one of those movies where if you don't go into it expecting too much, it's a lot of fun. It's campy, corny and and in some ways just plain stupid, but if you like Jason 1 - 9, you will love this one!

Summary: This one is better than the first.
Review: This movie is great. The acting is okay. One really annoying person, I probably don't even have to say who that is. I heard that Kane Hodder will not be Jason in Freddy vs. Jason, it doesn't really have to do anything with this movie I just thought you fans might want to know. Good movie, but it is more of a sci-fi and a comedy movie more than a horror.

Summary: Half good, half bad.
Review: As an avid "Friday the 13th" fan I was looking forward to this movie. I heard it was coming out about year before, being excited I went online to read a little bit of the plot before seeing it. After reading about the movie things seemed interesting enough. And then finally the movie went into the box office, yet I didn't get a chance to see it for whatever reason. So I waited for it to come out on DVD so I could just sit back, relax and watch the movie in the comfort of my own home. And after watching the movie I have mixed feeling's about it. First lets start with the things I liked about the movie. Naturally Im not a negative person and I would rather talk about what I liked in the move than disliked. The first pro is Jason himself. Kane Hodder plays a great Jason. He's mean, scary and hardcore! The make-up on Jason is very cool, he looks just as gross as he did back in the "New Blood" movie. So Jason himself is a plus. Im willing to go as far to say that Jason makes this movie worth while. Another good thing about the movie is the fresh young, attractive cast of women. Lets face it, guys like "slasher" flicks for hot women, cool gore and mindless fun. This movie has a couple of real hot ladies in it so it makes for nice eye candy. Another pro thing about this flick is the GORE! And tons of it! I won't get into detail because most people watch Jason movies for all the sweet gorte scene's, I'll just let them be your surprise. Now that I've listed what I liked about the movie, lets talk about what I didn't like. Number one, the acting. Plain and simple its just awful! You would think this day and age the acting would have been made a little better. Somtimes it becomes too much and almost ruins the whole movie. Don't get me wrong, some of the actors actually can handle the few lines they were given, but for the most part they just suck. Unless they intended the acting to be a joke and Im just not getting it, the acting is worthless. The other thing I didn't like about the movie is how fast things happend. One thing after the other, after the other. And they all happend really fast with no or little detail. If you can look past these few defaults Im sure you'll have a good time with the movie. Otherwise, move along. I do however really like the ending to the movie, a kind of ode to the original "Friday the 13th" movie. I won't spoil it for you. Hardcore Jason fans will have a fun time with this gore fest. People looking for award winning acting and deep plot might want to go buy somthing else.

Summary: Jason's back.....again
Review: This movie was so much fun. It's got great gore and some laughs and of course Jason. This is the tenth movie in the Friday the 13th series, and as usual Jason just won't die--and he's in space this time. The DVD extras are great! One extra is a behind-the-scenes look at Jason X, but the best extra on the DVD is a look at the Friday the 13th series and how Jason has evolved. That is about a half hour long and extremely interesting and could have been longer. There's also a feature where you can see every kill Jason makes in this movie. The DVD shows them all in sequence, one by one. This movie is fun and creepy, scary at times. Kane Hodder plays Jason again for the fourth time and let's hope he's back for the next, he's really good.
