Summary: Hellraiser's Pinhead in the Mix...
Review: Just found out the original script ended the movie with Freddy and Jason fighting in hell. Pinhead from Hellraiser wraps them both up in chains and says, "Hello gentlemen..What seems to be the problem?" This would have been an awesome way to end the movie, but the studio didn't want to get the rights to Hellraiser. This is probably how Freddy vs. Jason 2 will end though. Great entertaining horror flick, but we all know that Freddy won the fight because that whole end sequence was a dream in Jason's head. Freddy Lives Again!

Review: Honestly, this is THE best Freddy or Jason movie I've ever seen. Trust me, I own all of the Elm Streets, I'm a huge Freddy fan, and this is the one for all Elm Street fans to see. The movie begins with Freddy, how he died and stuff, and he wanted to kill again. So he resurrects Jason to kill some people for him so that everyone would think it was him who did it and beleive in him (for all of those who aren't too familiar with the Elm Street movies, that's how he gets his power). But when Jason starts killing Freddy's victoms, Freddy becomes very angry and end up getting into the brawl to end all brawls. It's Freddy Vs. Jason, who shall be victorious?

Review: When i saw this movie in the theater i was shoked i've never seen a movie with so much action and gore. This movie redefinds horror movies since two legendary killers are duking it out. I personally thought that freddy should've won since jason has taken all the glory with his movies cough Jason X cough but still it was a great movie. Most people know that freddy & Jason can't really literally die thay just get the hell beat out of each other.i'm hearing that this DVD is going to have 2 discs with all sorts of stuff, So take my advice and buy this movie it's worth every penny.

Review: Don't let that poor review by Amazon.com's editorial review influence you. Personally I doubt whoever wrote it actually watched it.
Granted, this movie doesn't push the artistic envelope of cinema, nor will it be conidered in league with Gone With the Wind or Citizen Cane, but it does deliver in one area: FUN!
This is pure escapism fun. What's more, is that the movie perfectly blends both "Mythologies" together without betraying eithers character or history. Freddy is far more EVIL in this movie. Even in the opening where we see him preparing to kill his latest victim.....an 8 year old little girl. Makes sense to me, after all Fred Krueger was a "Child Murderer", yet in every Elm Street movie the children were always old enough to drive and vote.
The movie also gives more depth of character to Jason, which was an unexpected suprise. The flashback/dream memory of his childhood and last moments as a young Jason drowns at the lake, then add the juxtaposition of Freddy at Camp Crystal Lake, inserting himself into Jasons memory as the catalyst for his drowning (ie Freddy was in the water pulling him down).
As mentioned in another fan review, most people didn't like the idea of Jason being "afraid" of water. Personally, I don't think that's the case at all. This was during a dream sequence in which Jason and Freddy are first going at it. I don't think that it was so much the "water" he ws afraid of, as it was what the water represents to Jason. When we dream, everyday things take on whole new meanings, and reason and logic are no longer buffers from our subconsious. Besides, from a metaphoric stand-point, it makes sense. Jason was killed by Drowning; Freddy was killed by fire. Two pure, diametrically opposed elements...water and fire. Who would win between fire vs water? It would most likely be a draw. Same with the two horror icons.
Also, fans of the Jay & Silent Bob series will get a kick out of the one character who seems to have been written with Jason Mews (Jay) in mind.
All in all, a great, fun movie, that you will want to watch again and again.

Review: Now most people think this movie is bad but it is very good.It had good acting a good story and good kills.I saw this movie the second day it was out and i loved it.I have been awaiting this film forever most people say jason one another revier said he poped out of the river heres two reasons he didnt win.When he walked from the river it was it was foggy like in the beging and that was a dream seqence so. The second is jason couldve been possed to go get freddys head.So have fun with this movie.

Summary: "Welcome to my Nightmare"
Review: As a long-time fan of both franchises, I can honestly say that I had high expectations for Freddy vs. Jason and man did it deliver. Blood, guts, drugs, more blood, more guts, more drugs, and two of the greatest horror icons going toe-to-toe and you got yourself one helluva fun movie. Just the way it should be. As usual, Robert Englund gives an outstanding perfomance as Freddy Krueger while Ken Kirzinger replaces long-time Jason actor Kane Hodder and gives a decent perfomance as Mr. Voorhees himself. The rest of the acting is garbage, but that's not what this movie intended to have. It was suppose to be an all-out brawl between Freddy and Jason, and it was. However, those eager to see a 90-minute fight would have to wait till the end to see the big showdown. And let me tell you, it was worth the wait. In between the whole movie though, you all get to see the back stories for both characters as well as re-live some classic moments from the old Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies. Bottom Line, I only recommend this movie to die-hard fans of both franchises, even you're just a horror fan looking for lots of blood. 'Cause only the true fans will appreciate this film and enjoy it like I did. I'll be damn sure to get my DVD copy when it comes out!

Review: Can't wait for this dvd to come out on Jan. 13th! Saw this movie 3 times in theater and plan to watch it many more times at home. Robert Englund as Freddy, is at his best here. He combines the scary and comical sides of his character with more balance (like NOES Part: 3). If you want to see a cool, gory, and all around entertaining movie, buy this movie next week.

Review: The first best Jason movie next to the 2nd best sequels Jason Goes to Hell and Jason Lives.This movie leaves where Jason Goes to Hell,after the end of Jason Goes to Hell,Freddy's hand rises from the ground and takes Jason's mask,so this calls for a battle.Freddy seems to possess Jason by killing the teens on Elm Street,then Jason and Freddy must battle to see who's stronger.The best movie ever with tons of blood and extreme deaths.The Dvd is packed with extras like deleted and alternate scenes with alternate opening and ending,director commentary with cast members,music video,jump to a death scene,and more.

Summary: It's nothing but a badly written Comic Book Movie....
Review: I laughed out loud when I heard they were doing this movie. Both have done four terrible pictures each and now they put them in one movie with a script written by a comic book writer (of all things). Anyway the script looks like it was written in two hours. The two meet, fight, and instead of being scary, you laugh at how stupid it all is. It makes you realize that the days of Hollywood making great movies is over.
