Summary: Confusing in parts
Review: In a whole this movie was great. There was only one minor detail that I think the editors and writers overlooked. In the original Omen it seemed as if Damien knew what he was and what he had to do. In this sequel it starts out where he has no idea of what he is. This surprised me and when I went back and watched the original again it was even more prevalent that he knew what was going on. Although this is a great movie with eerie scenes and excellent deaths, I feel that that minor detail was overlooked.

Summary: He's back!
Review: Damien is living with his uncle's family and as he reaches puberty, the son of Satan learns the truth about himself. Yet he is still protected by the demonic forces of evil. Those who learn who the boy truely is, die in freak accidents. Not as good as the original, but still pretty decent for a sequel. If you liked the first movie and want to see the continuing story of Damien Thorn, then you should see this movie.

Summary: Superior sequel.
Review: This sequel actually comes close to rivaling "The Omen" in terrifying intensity. Johnathan Scott Taylor is perfect as the adolescent Damien. His growing realization of his dark destiny is one of the many highlights of this excellent film. The plot is not as focused or compelling as the first film yet, it still succeeds in creating a pervasive atmosphere of growing fear. The cast is good(though Lee Grant does start to wear on the nerves after a while), especially William Holden. Jerry Goldsmith's score is a nothing short of a masterpiece. It lingers in the memory long after the film has ended. With all of the rancid sequels out there, "Omen 2" is a breath of fresh air.

Summary: A Sequel That Is Equal to The Original
Review: Taking pretty much the same plot as the original (adoptive parents of the son of Satan suffer at his hands), "Damian: Omen II" works because of its use of Jerry Goldsmith's revamped and more stylized score and the performances of a larger cast of gifted actors. Oscar-winner William Holden is great as Robert Thorne, brother to the Gregory Peck character of the original. He shows the correct balance of concern and disbelief as his safe world appears to be crumbling. Lee Grant does a good job in the pivotal role of Holden's wife. Jonathan Scott Taylor is appropriately menacing as Satan's spawn. The supporting cast of veterans Sylvia Sidney and Lew Ayres, Robert Foxworth, Lucas Donat, Lance Henrikson, and others do admirably in their roles as Damian's supporters or antagonists. Look for a brief, yet memorable appearance by Meschach Taylor of TV's "Designing Women," as a doctor whose inquisitive mind is his undoing. Be warned, though. The film has a heavy body count!

Review: This movie is very memorable. Sure, its not as good as the first one but it is good in its own way. The boot camp setup was intriguing. The deaths were pretty cool, the birds and ice thing. Overall its worthwhile.

Summary: What a "killer" movie!
Review: What can I say about Damien: Omen II. It is such a suspenseful flick that keeps you at the edge of your seat till the very end which I would like to say is a very well ending, very unexpected. The way he doesn't even know that he is the anti-christ until the drill seargent tells him to go to the Bible and read about himself is so surprising and he didn't even know what he did to a kid picking on his cousin, Mark, was a totally awesome part in the movie. First you have to see the first one and then you'll be able to understand the 2nd. Go see the other 2 after this one. Even though the 4th one wasn't so great it is still worth watching.

Summary: slow in the going with random deaths placed throughout
Review: The original was so good, too. The set-up of this movie was creepy, and there was some definite potential. However, the parent characters in this film aren't nearly as engaging as Peck and Remick, and Billie Whitelaw's evil nanny was one of the key elements of the original that made it so scary. I think that the film was further hurt by how it first made the viewer sympathize with Damien, and then let him indulge himself in unnecessary dispatchment of random characters. I wanted to feel sorry for him and then he starts to like taking people out! What is the deal? And of course, no one can be convinced of his true identity until they see this wall, which gets tedious. Very unsatisfying, worth two stars only because everyone does decent performances (except for that Mike Brady-looking guy) and a few tense scenes (the woman and the bird and the icy lake).

Summary: The first time was only a warning!
Review: The Omen 2 is a great follow up to the Omen, infact I thought that this better than it's predecessor the Omen.I really thought that Jonathen Scott Taylor was brilliantly suited yo his role as Damien.I liked how this film started off with Damien not realising who he is and gradually coming to terms with himself and beginning to like it.Also it was foccussed mainly around Damien where as in the first Omen film a lot of the film was foccussed on other people finding out who Damien is which I also thought was good.Overall this is a very good film and contains a good twist at the end which was totally unexpected.

Review: THIS WAS A VERY GOOD SEQUEL. IT TAKES PLACE A WEEK AFTER THE FIRST ONE ENDED. POPINAGEN THE GUY ON THE FIRST ONE FINDS OUT DAMIEN IS STILL ALIVE. HE GOES INTO A CAVE WHERE YOU SEE DAMIENS FACE PAINTED ON THE WALL WITH SNAKES IN HIS HAIR. THEN THE PLACE COLLAPSES AND HE GETS KILLED. THEN IT IS SEVEN YEARS LATER DAMIEN IS 12 YEARS OLD LIVING WITH IS STEP UNCLE AND AUNT. HE GOES TO A BOOT CAMP THATS WHERE HE FINDS OUT WHO HE IS. HE DENIES IT AT FIRST. BUT THEN HE STARTS TO KILL PEOPLE EVEN HIS OWN COUSIN WHO WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO HIM. THE FILM HAS A GREAT TWIST TO IT AT THE VERY VERY END THE I DID NOT EXPECT AT ALL.STILL THE FIRST ONE WAS BETTER.

Summary: A must have for every Omen Trilogy fan!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, as I have since I had first seen it when I was 12 years old. I think that Jonathan Scott-Taylor was well cast as Damien, I role that I would think rather difficult to play. His world was suddenly turned upside down in the space of moments, but when he discoverd his true destiny, Scott-Taylor played his part with such intensity for a young actor. When he killed his cousin, Mark, you truly felt his anguish. You believed he was the son of the devil.As a avid fan of the whole Omen Trilogy, I never get tired of watching the movie.I still wonder what is the significance of the raven, or if Damien knows about its existence. Also, I wished that the movie would have dwelled a bit on the relationship between Paul Buher, Damien and Sargeant Neff. But, with the haunting score, all in all the movie is most worth watching.
