Summary: This is the 3rd best Halloween
Review: While Halloween H20 isnt as good as the original Halloween or Halloween2, it is pretty scary and much better than parts 3-6. Thats probably why this movie ignores 3-6. And with the return of Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, this one deserves 4 stars!

Summary: Jamie Lee Curtis is better than ever.
Review: "Halloween: H20" may not be the scariest of the "Halloween" movies, but it is the most action-packed. This movie never stops, from start to finish. The film opens with a great introduction that showcases the reappearence of Nancy Stephens as Marion Chambers, giving the film the kind of historical touch that was necessary for it to work. As the opening credits roll, we sit in awe as the camera scrolls over twenty years of history and mixes with John Ottman's musical score to promote a genuine eerieness. From there, we are transported to Summer Glen, California, where we find Laurie Strode--now Keri Tate--having a nightmare that wakes her son, John. As the movie moves quickly and flawlessly along, not only are we kept in suspense about when Michael and Laurie will meet, but we are kept interested in the psychological profile of Laurie Strode that slowly unfolds throughout the film, showing us exactly how the grim events of twenty years ago effected her. As the hours of October 31st pass, we are kept entertained by John's friends, and my favorite supporting character, Ronny, the security guy, played by LL Cool J, who is attempting to be a romance writer and reads his books to his wife over the phone. The film's funniest moments belong to LL Cool J. The action of the film starts when a strange van is parked out in front of the Hillcrest Prep School gates. With the majority of the students gone camping at Yosemite, the school is virtually empty. The hallways are dark, and it sets the scene perfectly. The film is gripping all the way up to its fantastic ending. Jamie Lee Curtis is back in form with her performance in this film. She impressed me very much. I began to finally accept her as an actress and not as the kind of sexpot portrayal that movies like "True Lies" brought out of her. This film may not be the scariest film ever made, but as an all-around effort in filmmaking, is does John Carpenter proud

Summary: This sequel is too good for words......
Review: Incredibly Halloween H20 has managed to get the Halloween series back on track and delivers us with the best sequel of the series. Creepy, atmospheric and sometiems very "Carpenter-ish" it's more than just a sequel to one of the best horror movies ever made, it's a necessity that doesn't rely on the "self aware" gimmick of the recent horror slew, but concentrates more on being scary and conducts it very well!!

Summary: Myers can still kill with the best.
Review: The silent killer (no not the one in the hockey mask) is back and as evil as ever. Sure there seemed to be less killing than the original, but Michael Myers still knows how to make young teenagers soil their "innocent" undergarments. The way in which this film was directed and spaced was excellent. From the Michael images that Curtis sees, to the face to face confrontation at the door, and all the killing in between, this sequel far exceeds the previous ones, except of course the original, that is why i only gave it 4 stars.

Summary: Right on!
Review: This movie was the best! I think it should have been part 3! Michael and Laurie have the best showdown! People who don't like this movie don't know true horror! To the review before me, I agree totally!

Summary: Milking a series? Please!
Review: This movie should have been Halloween 3. It's action packed, supenceful, and down-right scary. People say that this movie could have been more like the original, it's almost identical to the original people! If John Carpenter had slapped his name on this you people would think it was gold! By the way, to the review before me. Michael is only 41, and this was number seven.

Summary: Talk about milking a horror series for all it's worth!
Review: How much more can we tolerate? Please let poor old Michael Myers (now probably in his 60's) rest in peace! There is absolutely nothing new in this the....I've lost count of what number sequel this is. The Queen Of Scream, Jamie Lee Curtis, once again battles her demented, horror masked clad brother in hopefully the final installment of the "Halloween" series. The only appealling thing about this movie is that Jamie's mum Janet Leigh makes an all-too brief appearance....hence the one star for her!

Summary: Good!
Review: It was a good movie but i gave it 4 stars cuz it was really short but the acting was great. And I was so happy that Josh Hartnett was in it cuz he is a great actor and he is hot!! Michelle Williams was awesome playing Molly and Jamie Lee Curtis was the best!!

Summary: do not buy this
Review: this movie was probably the worst horror movie i've ever seen. compare it to the original, you have crap. and, if you blood and guts being spilled all over the place, and if you get scared, just by seeing him walk around, then...okay, buy it. but, don't buy it, if you're looking for some great scare...because, it won't happen

Summary: Nice
Review: This Movie is the Better of the Halloween sequels. This movie is also by far very short. Which in my opinion is very disappointing. The movie is okay. Well filmed. Well directed I suppose. Wonderful acting. Plot is okay. the thing about this movie that Kevin Williamson wrote this movie to ignore every other movie except Halloweens 1 and 2. Which was stupid. I think he may have ruined the series by doing that. This movie doesn't dig deeper into the rage which drives Michael but instead has him and Laurie fighting it out. This movie does have one suspenseful moment. ONE. The rest you can pretty much guess what will happen. The plot has a relatively low death count. which is strange for a sequel. Very strange for a Halloween sequel. The movie is okay if you enjoy the other Halloween movies. But in the future with the scripting of Halloween 8 under way I do hope they keep Kevin Williamson has far away as possible from Halloween 8.
