Summary: The Buzz is back!
Review: Not as good as the origanal, but fun. Directed by Tobe Hooper (the origanal's Director) and Starring Dennis Hopper. Ten times better than the two that followed. If your a fan of the first one, watch it.

Summary: If you like sick humor.....
Review: The Sawyer Clan will provide lots of gore and cheap laughs in this ghastly but hilarious sequel. Bill Mosely { "Chop Top" } and Jim Siedow { "Cook" } are under-rated in this movie. They were hilarious!

Summary: Best horror sequel
Review: Of all the classic horror films that are ruined with dumb sequels this makes up for them. Fans of the first will definitely love this one. Hoopers excellent direction shows here as well as Dennis Hopper showing that he can play a good nutball.

Summary: Marvelous, Simply Marvelous
Review: The buzz returns. this movie is the bomb. The feel of the movie is creppy and chilling. I love the scene chase Caroline Williams down the tunnel. Leatherface is creppy and horney! You gotta love this movie, BUY IT RIGHT NOW! The Saw is Family.

Summary: For those of you who just don't get it.....
Review: TCM II is a brilliant film from start to finish. If you can't laugh yourself to tears then, well, you just don't get it friends. Drayton and Chop Top absolutely steal the show. Don't miss your opportunity to laugh like you haven't in a long while. Fine family entertainment!

Review: TOBE HOOPER is the most creative and most genius director in the history of all man kind! Great terror and perfect settings makes Leatherface a true terror!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: More Twisted and Gorier than the first
Review: Leatherface and his family are back in this very cheesy black comedy. Loaded with wall to wall blood and guts and lots of action sequences. Actually quite a worthy sequel, although the way they tried to add black humour is far too silly and a true TCM fan wouldn't like it. Above all, a great movie if your in the mood.

Summary: FRIGHTENINGLY BAD
Review: They say that lightning never strikes twice. And they're right; it doesn't. I just wish it'd struck Tobe Hooper before he'd had a chance to make this movie. To say that THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2 is a bad film is being generous. To say it is boring, tasteless, irritating, and not the least bit scary is STILL being generous. To say it's in the running for THE BIGGEST WASTE OF CELLULOID, well, that's only being fair. Granted, the first TCM movie was so good (great, in fact) that it practically begged for a sequel, but this movie is so bad (unwatchable, in fact) it dang near DESTORYS your enjoyment of the original! Instead of grueling terror, this time around the viewer is treated...no, NOT treated...TORTURED with camp (all of it profoundly unfunny, by the way); instead of unrelenting suspense, the viewer is subjected...no, NOT subjected...PUNISHED with stomach-turning gore (a crime Hooper NEVER commited with the first film, no matter what people who haven't seen it might say). And while the film's last image is indeed powerful enough to linger in the viewer's mind--the film's heroine, "Stretch," bloody and goregous in her denium short-shorts and torn shirt, driven to the point of madness and howling like a banshee as she holds a chainsaw triumphantly above her head and spins around like a weathervane in a hurricane wind atop a concrete mountain in some Texas amusement park at dawn--the last few seconds of a movie cannot redeem what has come before it. Especially if what has come before it is as bad as THIS. Avoid at all costs.

Summary: LEATHERFACE RULES!
Review: My friends bought me this video from America (coz you can't buy it here in Britain) and I really liked it. It did'nt have the deadly serious tone of the original but it was a darkly humouress thrill ride directed by the original man Tobe Hooper.

The beginning was cool, the ending was cool. I loved the way we see an almost human side to Bubba Sawyer(Leatherface) it's a shame he dies at the end of this but that did'nt stop 2 rubbish sequels following this. The first CHAINSAW MASSACRE and this are the best, you won't miss out if you never see 3 and 4 as they are simply naff. I recommend this to horror fans alike.

Summary: One of the best combinations of horror and humor
Review: I don't know if any of you noticed, but the box and movie poster are very similar to The Breakfast Club. That in it's self is hilarious, but once you see this film, you will go from being terrorfied and grossed out to laughing your bag off. There are three major differences between this and the original.First, the aforementioned humor that is very similar to Evil Dead 2. Trust me on this one,if you enjoyed Evil Dead 2,you HAVE to see this movie. Second, where the first merely suggested violence and gore, this one goes overboard with it. From chainsaw labotomys while driving down a dark Texas highway to actually being witness to Leatherface making a new..umm...leatherface.Thirdly,this movie isn't based on anything but characters from the first film,no true life occurences,so it doesn't have the same kind of ambiance as the first film, but it was still a great ride.I f you like your horror movies funny and gross, this is for you.
