Summary: Dreadful
Review: This was an awful sequel. I think they should have just stopped after part 4 if they couldn't make anything better.

Summary: Wow! Another One?!
Review: A real turkey. But this time there's a "surprise" at the end. Do yourself a favor and skip ahead to Friday the 13th, Part VII: The New Blood, a.k.a Jason vs. Carrie. A New Beginning was just a new low in quality.

Summary: A New Beginning
Review: When ý watch the opening of the film I thought Jason will come being zombie. When I understand that murderer isnt Jason ý become quite dissapointed but ý liked the movie much
I think part 2 was the scariest in 4 sequels but when I watch this this movie become second scariest in 5 sequels.Best musics and very scary "boo" scenes make you feel terrified. You dont understand that murderer isnt Jason so you think hes jason. The story is very good I think but not continuing the part 4.Acting is still awesome.Movie dont have any silly scenes.I reccomend this movie to all "Horror Movie and Friday the 13th fans" Highly Jason fans will be dissapointed at the end of the movie
Movies still good and directed well get your copy quickly. And wait for part 6

Summary: IT'S A COOL DVD
Review: Ok so Jason not on his killing spree this time around but who is? HA odds are you already know the story and it's not all bad but if you don't it's a cool movie to watch on a friday night with your friends. This dvd version of friday the 13th 5 offers a great anamorphic widescreen picture, But the the mono sound is not so great, The sound is clear and defined but still it's only mono. There's nothing in the special features department except a trailer, It would be nice if Paramount put some extras on this dvd but what else can you expect from a studio who puts as little effort in there dvd's as possible. Overall if you a friday the 13th fan this is a must own or at least a rent.Pros: Great picture quality. Theatrical trailer. Cons: No special features. Mono sound.

Summary: Deffinaltely a New Beginning
Review: Well, it isn't Jason, but the same mystique is still there. This was especially good because they still held on to the basic theme of what Jason is about before Hollywood got a hold of him. Even though the killer is not Jason, he adequately fills his shoes. Taking the setting away from Crystal Lake, but still retaining the same ideals was refreshing. I highly recommend this movie to all fans of Friday the 13th.

Summary: Vorhees is god (my daddy)
Review: Even though Mr.Vorhees is known to be a ruthless killer, killing every girl who flashes her knockers in many cruel ways, he is quite the sweet heart come christmas!
P.S.
I like knockers

Summary: Awful.
Review: The makers promised that they wouldn't do another "Friday the 13th" after "...The Final Chapter", but here they are again, and they spoiled it! More violence, the story is confusing & badly acted.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A New Killer. A New Beginning.
Review: Although most fans of this series say that this is the worst of the series, I whole-heartedly disagree. There are much worse installments of the franchise. The reason why people dislike this movie is mainly because of the fact that Jason Voorhees is not the killer of the movie. That's the beauty of it. It shows the fact that an average joe (or Roy in this case) can mentally snap and go off on a horrific killing spree. Let us not forget that this how Mrs. Pam Voorhees started.

The acting by the cast is horrible and the script wasn't thought out all that well. There are however some hilarious comedic moments now and then in the movie. It's one reedeming quality is the acting portrayed by John Shepherd as Tommy Jarvis. The portrayal of Tommy as a seriously disturbed young man after his encounter w/Jason is very realistic for it shows the constant fear, anger, sadness and paranoia of surviving that horrific night from F13thIV.

This movie had a lot of potential but fell short in what could have been the best in the series since the original.

Don't take my word for it: see it for yourself...if you dare.
