Summary: Stop!
Review: When will this horrid monstrosity of a series end?!. It was awful from the very start and it only gets worse. Disgustingly awful films. Pinhead is an interesting looking character, for sure, but he has no character himself. He's bland and boring. There is nothing to the character. He's like a brick wall that doesn't do anything. It's time to put the guy and this series out to pasture. It's 10 years overdue. All you have to do to realize that this is a monster dud is how everyone involved doesn't want to talk about it. Ashley Laurence as Kirsty refused to be interviewed by a horror magazine. She only saw doing this film as getting a 'refridgerator' as she says. This is a movie that no one involved even liked. It doesn't bode well. End this series at once!.

Summary: hellraiser vi-hellseeker
Review: the return of kirsty. but not in the way we all expected. while most of the movie is focused on her husband trevor. it starts out with him and her riding in a car going down a road when the car flies of the bridge and crashes into the water. trevor escapes but kirsty is traped in the car. Much like INFERNO, trevor must find the answers to what really happened to kirsty as her body is not found and what is really happening to him. Once again Pinhead and crew have a small role and in the end we all learn the twisted truth about kirsty and her relationship to trevor as reality is turned upsidedown and nothing is as it seems. Trevor must face his past that he has "forgoten" as kirsty has her revenge for all the heck shes been though. The truth about how kirsty has been changed since HELLRAISER:HELLBOUND is shown and her true relationship to Pinhead and crew is brought to the forefront. How you view kirsty will be changed after seeing this movie as all the pain shes been through finnaly takes its toll on her. great movie and a truly great surprise ending!!!

Summary: again not really hellraiser
Review: this one is even less like hellraiser, maybe the filmakers are running out of ideas but, it's like the fifth one.
it's basically another detective story but a slightly more boring one that just keeps repeating itself.five reasons why this is a disappointing film 1.it's a repeat of hellraiser inferno

3.it's slow and boring
4.it's not really hellraiser(again)
5.why does it have pinhead on the front cover if he's hardly in it? thats like the fifth one you expect him to be in it for a bit longer than he is, ok so he has a bit of a longer part in this one but it still is too short.
the real main character isnt a very good actor so thats something else that is disappointing.
and one more thing, why does the box keep ending up with Kirsty Cotten for no reason?

Summary: Another puzzle
Review: By now the "Hellraiser" series has become more along the lines of "Twilight Zone" episodes with Pinhead in the Rod Sterling role of detatched observer and judge. In this outing, a man plans the murder of his wife, and carries it out. (By the way, the wife is Kristie Cotton from "Hellraiser 1 and 2", but that matters very little). His brilliant plan is to have his wife die in a car wreck. He gets away with it because he was in the car too (wow, that sounds more than a little risky). After the crash, he begins having wierd hallucinations, all concerning a little puzzle box he got his wife prior to the accident. His relationships become strained and more bizarre as things progress. I can not say what the final solution is. It is something that maybe you'll get pretty easily. I can only say this; the acting was bad. It's the over all story that saves this movie. Some of the story elements dosn't make a lot of sense, sort of like putting the wrong piece in the wrong place in the puzzle. But it is still better than you'd think.

Summary: Hellraiser 6: Hellseeker - A Good Sequel!
Review: In my opinion, Hellraiser 1 and 2 were the best in the series. This new entry into the Hellraiser films, Hellraiser 6, lives up to parts 1 & 2. The things that I was looking for, in Hellraiser 6, was Pinhead and Kirsty confronting each other, and another Hellraiser Tale about someone trying to out-wit the Cenobites, but always losing to them in the end. Hellraiser 6 did both of these things and that is why I think it is a Good Sequel. It was a real treat to see Ashley Laurence bring this series back to life again! Ashley Laurence is in the movie for a longer amount of time, than I was lead to believe. Her character's scenes actually reveal the twists and turns of the movie and they are important elements in the plot. Doug Bradley looks like he's gotten a little too chubby, and that makes Pinhead look different. Things from Hellraiser 1 were added as a homage or were re-used as plot elements to enhance the movie. Hopefully there will be a Hellraiser 7 (with Pinhead and Kirsty included).

Summary: Excellent Entry in the Hellraiser Canon
Review: HELLRAISER: HELLSEEKER, the sixth installment in the Hellraiser series, is a fine, taut chiller, handled masterfully by first-time director Rick Bota (cinematographer on DEMON KNIGHT, HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL and VALENTINE and director of the upcoming Hellraiser sequels DEADER and HELLWORLD). This is a nail-biter, especially for newcomers to the series, who will no doubt love this 90-minute amalgam of murder mystery and nightmarish gore pic. Hellraiser faithfuls, however, may be a bit off-put by the similarities to its predecessor, HELLRAISER: INFERNO (still the finest sequel the series has seen). INFERNO aside, there's still plenty for the horror film buff to love in HELLSEEKER. Bota provides incredibly claustrophic framing throughout, so the viewer can never quite see over protagonist Dean Winters' shoulder. Additionally, the film is very well-lit with hospital neon greens and police station blues adding intensity to the dizzying nightmare. Bota's cinematography experience serves him well and what HELLSEEKER lacks in originality is more than made up for in pure atmosphere. And then there's the return of Kirsty. Series followers were no doubt hoping for a Kirsty/Pinhead showdown, but that's nowhere to be found in HELLSEEKER. Doug Bradley's Pinhead keeps scarce (a la INFERNO) as does Kirsty, both simply popping in and out when twists and/or exposition are called for. While this does come as a sort of letdown, it ultimately provides an interesting direction for Kirsty as a new antihero and leaves the series wide open for the future sequels. Still, it was nice to see the series reconnected to its origins. This reviewer was pleased to hear a few references to Uncle Frank throughout the film (and was that a quick cameo by Kirsty's flayed father in the basement of the police station?!?) All in all, HELLSEEKER is an admirable - and extremely enjoyable - entry into the Hellraiser series. While the hardcore fan can tell early on that this is INFERNO redux, that's still not necessarily a bad thing. For those of us still reeling from BLOODLINE and HELL ON EARTH, it's downright welcome. The HELLSEEKER DVD looks great and sounds OK. The 5.1 Surround is underused (especially for a fright flick) and poorly utilized when it does come into play. Bota's commentary is again a welcome addition for fans of the series as recent DVDs have been bare bones affairs. Several alternate scenes are also provided. Highly recommended for fans of the series and B-flicks alike.

Summary: Made for DVD crap!
Review: I have the reviews for this film on this site and wonder if you were all high when you viewed this movie. It plays like a bad Law and Order/CSI episode with demons-and not enough demons! Yeah it goes in a different direction (a bad one), a direction that no Hellraiser mover should be taken. Why has Clive Barker allowed his brilliant franchise to be sold into made for DVD sequel slavery? These sequels are as bad as the Halloween series past number 2! At 38, and having being a horror viewer/reader since about seven, I think I can fairly warn-AVOID THIS FILM! I watched it on Dish for free and I was so bored! Pinhead and the demons are stars of the Hellraiser movies not a bunch of second rate actors. I am tired of artsy shot projects that try to be cutting edge. I hate CGI monsters (so lack of special effects was NOT a problem) and I have a strong flare for a good psychological scare, but all you get from this movie is a tension headache and an anxiety attack. Pinhead and his fellow demons are sensation AND not subliminal. You can't disguise this film as clever film work-it's junk.....end of story! It's generic writing with a familiar monster inserted to sell the product. What's next Hellraiser on Ice? A musical Hellraiser? I saw the first two movies in the theater and loved them. There comes a time when ideas need to be retired and fans need to face the facts, that hellraising is not for bad film makers just immature movie viewers.

Summary: Welcome back Lady
Review: You may hate this movie. Mainly because Kirsty is only in the beginning, end and in parts throughout the movie. This is based on her husband, Trevor who lost his memory from a crash he and Kirsty had. When their car fell off a bridge. He thinks she's dead, but a detective says otherwise.
It's mainly about how the Pinhead torments Trevor into remembering what happened before the crash. He thinks that all was heaven with Kirsty, until associates and woman remind him of his adtulterous and kiniving past.
It's beautiful in a psychological way, where Trevor gets flashes and wonders about his encounters with others. There is only one erotic scene, and it is far too FUNNY, to be thought of as sexual. If that's what you are into then, you'll love this movie.

Summary: the sixth entry in the Hellraiser series
Review: Having seen the previous "Hellraiser" films I decided to rent the sixth Hellraiser film Hellseeker. I was excitied to see that Ashley Laurence returned to the series, that is about all to recommend in this film. The story was rather confusing, and very boring, not enough Pinhead. This is basically full of ideas lifted from other horror films. If you're a Hellraiser fan, go out and rent the first movie again. Skip this one!

Summary: this series remains strong
Review: Hellraiser films are unlike other horror series. They try and keep things moving in interesting directions and I admire that. Hellseeker is a great example of that and it's an excellent entry which some will hate (it's not just a re-tread of the first and some won't like that) and some will love (because it's not just a re-tread and has an interesting twist). I loved it.
