Summary: Best Horror Movie Ever!!!!
Review: Halloween is the one that started it all. What would slasher movies be without Halloween? I'll tell you what a piece of crap! John Carpenter is a genius. Not very gory at all, but still scary as hell. The Halloween theme song is the scariest sound you will ever here, period!!!

Scariness - 9.8/10
Sound - 10/10
Acting - 9.9/10
Gore - 7.5/10

This is an awsome movie, you should definetly buy it, and if you like it as much as I do you should also buy the TV extended version. This movie is Rated-R for Horror Violence, Sexuality, and Drug Use.

Summary: The Start of Michael's Never Ending Reign
Review: This was probaly the best of the Halloweens and I thoguht it stunk the first time around. Then the second time I started to appreciate Michael in a different way. I thought of him as a good guy not a bad brutal serial killer. I've seen all of them except 3,4 and ressurection but people say 3 and ressurection don't count anyway. Dr. Loomis doesn't have such a big role in this one but he sure does in the next few one's. Out of the 3 huge killers Michael's my second fave next to Freddy but Halloween's plot is so rich I could watch them all day. Jamie was good in this and she was good in 2 and H20 but this series really belongs to Donald Plesence.

Summary: the best horror film of all time
Review: This is a great film. It's also a great DVD. The special features are good too. The commentary is fantastic. This is the greatest horror film of all time, but it's not the scariest. Exorcist isn't either, read the book exorcist instead. This film is creepy, scary, and just plain brilliant. In this film you see Michael Myers's face, you see it in part 5 too. This is a great film for you horror freaks out there. Watch this with your girlfriend. Creep her out you know, then shell have to hold on to somebody (heheheheheheheheh),if you catch my griff (hehehehe) ahhhhh...I'm such an idiot. Anyways watch this and you wont be an idiot. I still haven't gone out of watching beavis and butthead do America, still stupid since that. That's funny though, watch that too. Uhhhhh please put helpful c'mon......ahhh....c'mon...c'mon. All your mean. This isn't helping is it. Uhhhh watch it there I'm helpful.

Summary: Halloween a punch to the spleen
Review: A blank masked serial killer silently stalks hapless(and mostly mindless)suburban teens and pounces on them with the cold machine-like efficiency machine and animal savagery.
What is Halloween about? It's real about understanding our fears and manipulating them for maximum heartpounding effect, and Carpenter has succeeded. Sadly, it spawned a gazillion imitations of dubious artistic and moral worth.

Sadly, American kids, for whom horror is only a reality on tv or the movies, can't get enough of this kind of ugly mayhem.

Summary: Almost Perfect
Review: They had their chance to get it right and they blew it. They didn't include the outakes shown in the original TV version! They have the original extended TV version avaible but who wants to buy another DVD or VHS for full price for just an extra 10 minutes and in mono sound? Not me. This 25 anniversary DVD would have been even better if they would have just included the extended version or at least the outake clips. Oh well. Maybe they will release another Special Edition with the outakes. It wouldn't suprise me.

Summary: Classic Creepiness
Review: OK, this isn't the first horror flick ever made, and it's obviously not going to be the last. I first saw this movie with my girlfriends almost 20 years ago - I was just talking about it with one of them a few days ago, and we still got the creeps. There are two scenes that terrified us then, and still scare us - the classroom scene where Laurie sees Michael standing across the street in his creepy white mask, watching her, and when she later glances out her bedroom window and sees him standing below in her yard amongst the laundry, looking up at her... no slicing/dicing or blood is involved, or needed... and the music makes it even creepier!!

Summary: The Boogey man is coming
Review: I first rented this at the video store and when I got it, I loved it.The original horror films are always the best. One thing that got me on my nerve in this film, is that they always play that music, its not creepy buts its annoying, but I enjoyed the film. Its worth watching

Summary: Halloween
Review: "Halloween" is one of those movies you can never be not scared of, no matter how many times you have seen it. Michael Myers is the ultimate masked killer, and can easily be preferred over Jason and Freddy Krueger. With his slight head turns and emotionless, white mask, he can create an eerie atmosphere even without the director's help. He is just the creepy looking! Jamie Lee Curtis is excellent as the terrorized babysitter, Laurie Strode, as she creates a feeling of realism with each of her lines. Donald Pleasence is equally great as Dr. Loomis. The script here is written for maximum intensity and suspense (most notably the last scenes in the film) and is much better than the junk we see in Friday the 13th and other such rip-offs. John Carpenter and Debra Hill do a marvelous writing job. Carptener's music is jolting and electrifyingly scary, and his direction can live up to that as well. This is the ultimate horror experience. Some good sequels follow this (but of course, not part III).

Summary: The Father of horror!!!
Review: This, along with the other 70's horror hit "The Texas Chainsaw Massacare" started the HUGE 80's horror films. With the fact that this movie was amazing, this movie deserves alot of credit. Without this, There would be no Nightmere on elmstreet, No Jason,
No Halloween sequels(No duh), and no Chucky. Think of a world without thoughs movies, think of never seeing any one with a hockey mask on halloween. Yeah, we needed this. It all started with two drictors who were unknowen, and were just planning to make a simple movie. Then got Actors who like themselfs, were unknown. They had no idea how thier movie would effect the future. The movie is about a high school student named Larie, a baby sitter. While babysitting two little kids, she has no idea that his evil brother, Micheal Myers (who the kids call the boogie man) is trying to kill her, and her friends. Great horror film and like I said, made the future for us. (one last thing, you should get the 25th annivevesary edition becouse it has lots of special fetures)

Summary: Halloween....its classy Horror!
Review: Most of us all ready know the plot. Little boy out in Illionis, kills his big sister on Halloween, is hospitalized, and comes back to create more terror. Main story...is about a couple of girls watching some kids across the street from each other on Halloween. A Psychiatrist with the Sheriff running around looking for the, now masked, escaped psycho killer.

The First thing that scares us is the Stalking. Michael, the psycho killer, does it right from the beginning. He lurks around the house outside spying on his big sister. Sneaks into the dark house...and well you know what happens next. And Michael does it again when he first stalks Laurie, main herione...hopefully still alive at the end, at the school, hiding behind cars and trees. Then of course the most terrifying for me, is when Michael is watching Annie, one of Lauries best friends, through the glass doors in the kitchen!

Obviously the second scariest thing for me would be the chase scenes and the almost not there killing scenes. It is done so very tastfully. Its not cheesy, its not gory, its not expected, its just damn good directing and atmosphere...

Which leads me to the Scariest part of this movie. The reason Halloween is so good is its Atmosphere, its Direction, and Acting. First, the story line is complimented well with a movie shot 80% in the dark, not just at night, but in the DARK. leaving our imagination to wonder what the hell is going on?! Which is scary no? the unknown? Second Carpenter is Excellent here with great camera angles...buy the Widescreen Version you wont be dissappointed. Lastly, Jamie Lee as Laurie is a Delight, what better way to follow mummy's footsteps! Donald is Brilliant as the almost pyschotic himself Doctor after the killer, and Nancy and PJ, and Charles, are all great additions to the movie.

This movie is great for well Halloween parties, get togethers, Friday the 13 movie marathons. And if you just want to scare yourself to the core....But dont watch this movie in at night, especially right before bed, you wont sleep at all, you know why? because all those shadows in your room are perfect hiding spaces for the Michael Meyers' of the world to wait for you to nod off....chilling!
