Summary: An over-rated movie that is boring and pathetic.
Review: When I first heared about this movie I thought it was going to be brilliant and really scary. The film is banned in the UK (for some strange reason) so it took me a long time for me to see it. I finally orederet it from America on DVD and when it finally arrived, I couldn't wait to see this so called 'notorious' film. After viewing it I was so disappionted with it I felt like taking it back! There was nothing remotly scary about it, it is just a film that lasts for ages and is absoultly boring. There is no gore in it, nothing to keep you on the edge of your seat and basically, it is just pathetic horror movie! If you really want to be scared I suggest seeing the Exorcist, or if you want gore then get a Fulci film but don't wste your money on this garbage!

Summary: The second scariest movie I have ever seen
Review: Having seen some of the sequels before seeing the first one, I expected it to be just as stupid. I couldn't have been more wrong. My pulse was pounding, I was sweating and I really felt as if I was hiding in the bushes watching this all happen right before me. The Blair Witch people tried to mimic this formula but with little success except for the ending with the guy standing in the corner (you then know the girls toast and he's next). After Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, this movie makes me feel incredibly unsetted and anxiety-ridden when I watch it. I was screaming at the TV yelling for the girl to RUN DAMMIT RUN !! I was so relieved when she escaped.

Summary: Wierd, but probably the best horror movie of all time.
Review: Hitchcock sucks. If you want to be scared then pop this in your DVD or VCR. Although probably one of the wierdest movies of all time. It is also one of the scariest. From such classic scenes as the headcheese story to Leatherface trying on a women's face for a mask. The visuals in this film are freaky and you won't feel comfortable watching. The finale is just as wierd as the rest of the film, but it is also very memorable. While the deaths are relatively tame compared to Halloween or Friday the 13th, that really doesn't matter. Those two films I just named also have cooling off scenes where nothing happens. A chance to catch your breath. Texas does not allow you that option. It is a roller coaster of depravity, violence and fear. The only problem I really have with this film is the horrible sequels it spawned. Better then any horror movie or story ever. Hitchcock sucks. Some say this movie was based in part on the story of Ed Gien who also was the man who "Psycho" was based on.

Summary: THE BEST HORROR MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Review: This is going to be a good review. Without a doubt, this is the greatest horror moive of all time. The fact that this was based on a true story adds more suspense. Who cares if this was a low-budget movie. In my opinion, that makes it better. I really don't want to see a remake of this with computer crap and all. First of all, you gotta admire the director for having the guts to make this movie. The actors/acting was very convincing, I don't know what happend to Marylin Burns (Sally, the only survivor), but she has/had a good acting role ahead of her. Second, The setting was great. They picked a good spot to make the movie more convincing. Some people may call me sick, many in fact, but I love LeatherFace and the way he killed. You really have to feel sorry for him at some points. Having to do most of the work for his 'family' and grandpa. Just so I have some words left (from my 1,000 word max), I'll just tell you to BUY THIS MOVIE. Nobody knows anything about horror until they've at least viewed this movie. Thank you.

Summary: Deeply disturbing. Watch it alone or not at all.
Review: I got a hold of this when I was in the states last year as (at that time) it was still on the BBFC's banned list in the UK. To be honest I was preparing for it to benonsense but I was wrong. The opening flashbulb and sunspot scenes are migraine inducing. The plot itself from there on is fairly predictable, but the violence erupts so quickly and violently, that it's like being hit by a shotgun blast. There are only a few gory scenes and to be honest most of them aren't particulary over the top. The scenes I found most disturbing were the arrivial of the first couple to the house. The journey back from the BBQ shop to the house where the father is gently reasurring the girl and then prodding her with the stick. And the dinner scene which really felt like it went on for ages. By the end I felt drained and actuley unsettled. It's not a scary film but despite some appaling performances (some of which look improvised) it's the whole 70's documentary feel that gives it the edge.

Summary: THE FUNNIEST MOVIE EVER MADE!
Review: YOU MAY ASK WHY I THINK THIS MOVIE IS THE FUNNIEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. WELL YOU SEE, THE MOVIE'S PLOT, ACTOR'S, AND SETTING IS SO INCREDIBLY STUPID THAT IT IS LAUGHABLE. MY FRIENDAND I RENTED THIS MOVIE AND EXPECTED IT TO BE SCARY. INSTEAD WE WERE ROLLING ON THE FLOOR WITH RED FACES AND TEARS COMING DOWN OUR EYES BECAUSE OF HOW STUPID, BUT HILLARIOUS THIS MOVIE IS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HORROR MOVIE, SORRY IT'S NOT HERE. BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GREAT COMEDY, THIS IS THE MOVIE!

Summary: The Best
Review: This movie truly is the best horrer movie ever made. Its intensity and brutality will never be matched. It had a low budget, little known actors, and a ruff story but it pulls itself off nicely. It is followed by two very good sequels and a third sequel that is just bad. WARNING! IF YOU HAVE A WEAK HEART OR A HEART CONDITION THEN DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE ALONE.
