Rating: Summary: Scream,Jump and Laugh Review: Craven and Williamson have proven to be a potent team. Wes Craven has always been known as the Horror Genre's hit maker by far. Throw in Kevin Williamson with his screenplay and we have a horror flik with suspense all throughout, but most of all giving kudos to/jabs at older horror fliks. Get a great cast of great young actors/actresses.No one else can or will get away with that, other than Wes Craven. Williamson has shown us he is a genius and this film seems to have started his journey to success. Watching Scream more than once will have you catching some things that you didn't catch the first, second or third times you watched it. Example is the school principal scene, played by Henry Winkler, when someone keeps on knocking at his office door. He opens up the door at one point and mutters something. We see a guy mopping the floor and Winkler says "not you fred". Now look at this guy mopping the floor, he has the same coloured shirt and the same dirty black hat as none other than Freddy Krueger. That part was played by Wes Craven himself. Hey remember Krueger was a janitor in a school. Anyhow, buy this movie and you will not get bored with it at all. Very enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: THIS DESERVES 5 STARS!!!! Review: coolest video
Rating: Summary: Thiz movie iz phat! Review: I believe that ne1 that can appreciate a good horror movie will like thiz b/c they also associate comedy into the movie.
Rating: Summary: some fun Review: 'Scream2' is really good, and I wasn't even expecting it to be. The killer(s) really surprised me, I can really say I didn't see it coming, and I was trying really hard to figure out who it was! The crucifixtion scene was kinda hot- that dude's got a nice bod. Here goes: One thumb up for 2.
Rating: Summary: Not Worth A Sigh Review: I started watching this psudo-horror flick the other night and turned it off after about 45 minutes. Completely unoriginal (so called) horror courtesy of Hollywood. What ever happened to real horror flicks! This movie was about as dull and prosaic as can be expected from a sequel. If you truly want to be terrified, rent or buy the Evil Dead. Now that's a classic, low-budget or not.
Rating: Summary: Best movie Review: This is the best movie in the world. I like it when neve Campbell starts to take action. It's so cool. I love this movie and that's why I think it should get five stars.
Rating: Summary: SCEAMING NOT FOR EVERYONE Review: Yes, it is true the original had a great story and the second is basically a rehash. But to those who say the ending is lame, sure it isn't as good as SCREAM, but inventive in it's own definitive right. Anyone out there wonder why no one was gutted this time 'round.
Rating: Summary: A Sequel Worth a Scream Review: With sequels always falling short, here we have Scream 2. This movie is not only better written than the original, but it also is better acted and scarrier. With one suspect to the next, this movie traps you in a web of possible killers and thrills. One of the best sequels around. Can't wait for Scream 3, although the series might run out of steam. Hope it's not another Superman 3!!! Sequels suck? Not this one.
Rating: Summary: Not good Review: This movie isn't worth watching a second time. This movie was predictable and didn't have to be made in the first place becuase it was just like the first one with different characters, Its not a well done movie
Rating: Summary: Better to leave well enough alone. Review: If anyone should know better than to follow a great thriller with a sequel, it is Wes Craven. But I guess the almighty dollar wins this battle every time. Scream 2 was anything but fresh and new. The plot didn't thicken, as expected. And the punchline was quite predictable. Male viewers will be attracted to the movie because of the obvious assets that Neve Campbell brings to the screen. Female viewers will be dragged to the movie with their boyfriends and husbands, but in the end, no one will leave the theater satisfied. If 6 or 7 Nightmare On Elmstreet's didn't teach us a lesson about sequels, Scream 2 will. In closing, if you can rent this film for less than $3, do so. It's a good chuckle. Otherwise, rent Braveheart again.Chris Dilworth, Syntax Ent.
