Summary: Halloween
Review: A good way to start this franchise. chilling story about killer believed to be pure evil escaping from mental hospital after killing his older sister as a kid. The plot focuses on him trailing after his sister played by Jamie Lee Curtis. Donald Pleasance does a wonderful job as Michael's doctor. One of the more successful horror franchises, but sorry, it and michael do not compare to Friday the 13th and Jason Voorhees. Although it is one of the 3 best series.(the other being Freddy and A Nightmare on Elm Street series)

Summary: Great quality (and one little thing)
Review: This DVD edition is really great. Sound, picture, extras... It's all terrific (I bought this US-Version because the German DVD is terrible!). I'm really really satisfied. There is just one little thing: This DVD is not captioned! That's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.

Summary: TRICK OR TREAT!
Review: The most succesful film of all time!In this teen slasher flick,a little boy,Michael Myers, kills his teen sister with a knife. 15 years later,Michael escapes from a Mental Hospital. He begins his killing rampage.Michael returns to his old house,in his home town.Meanwhile,a 17 year old girl,Laurie(Jamie Lee Curtis)babysitts her 8 year old friend. After Michael killed Laurie's best friends,Lauie must kill Michael and survive Halloween night. Even if Michael gets killed,he is like JASON(Friday the 13th series)he always comes back for more brutall murder.I would give this film 4 stars out of 5.Rated R for language, voilence, and nudity.TRICK OR DIE!

Summary: simply the best.
Review: If you haven't seen this movie you should, even if your not a fan of horror films. Halloween is the original slasher, movie. (yes, I know texas chainsaw massacre and psyco came before it) This movie is really the basis for every other slasher movie that has come out after 1978. Any person who considers themselves to be horror movie fans needs to rent or buy this movie. One of the top grossing horrors of all time and it's loved by the critics too, suprisingly. Halloween has Almost no gore in the tradition of hitchcock. Lots of close calls between myers and his victims. Easily one of the best horror films of all time.

Summary: Amazing DVD Release!
Review: The Restored Limited Edition release of Halloween is one of the best DVD releases from Anchor Bay to date! Everyone knows the story with the movie already, so I'm just going to review the DVD presentation.

First off, this two-disc set looks and sounds amazing. Halloween has been fully restored under THX's digital remastering service. Let me tell you, there is a big difference. Halloween looks and sounds like a movie that was put out this year! That's how amazing this movie looks under THX. Picture is crystal clear and the Dolby 5.1 soundtrack lets you hear Halloween like you've never heard before! Disc one is the Theatrical Version of Halloween. It includes a 30-minute documentary called Halloween Unmasked 2000, which is an excellent documentary featuring interviews with John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curits, P.J. Soles, Moustapha Akkad, and more. Also included on the disc are radio spots, a trailer, tv spots, still and poster gallery, behind the scenes gallery, and biographies. Disc 2 is the uncut TV version of Halloween. It features 12 minutes of additional footage, and some of it is some damn cool footage of Loomis visiting Michael before his escape...very cool.

This is definitely one of the best DVD releases ever! However, it happens to be OOP and hard to find. If you ever see a copy around get it!

Summary: horrifyingly spooky and thrilling
Review: halloween, my all time favorite movie, was a landmark film in the genre of horror. It brought real slasher cutting up with knives type of movies into the forefront where they belong.halloween starts out wih a little silent child who is about to brutally tear his 15 year old sister judith to shreds with a butcher knife. you see this brutality through the eyes of the disturbed little sociopath himself, Mike Myers. after he breaks out of the sanitarium he has been secured in for 15 years, Micheal Myers, age 23, comes home.

Summary: HALLOWEEN
Review: HALLOWEEN starts out with a young boy named Micheal Myers who murders his sister on Halloween Night in 1963. Flash forward a few years later when Micheal is an adult, and he breaks out of the mental institution he's been held prisoner in, and heads back to his hometown of Haddonfield. Micheal's psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis chases after him because he believes that Micheal is pure evil. High school girl Laurie Strode (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) and her two friends find themselves being stalked by a mysterious stranger in a white mask...they don't realize that on Halloween Night, the trick is to stay alive! This movie substitutes blood and guts for suspense and genuine terror! A horror movie classic!
