Summary: Best Little Gadget Out There
Review: I purchased this unit just after Christmas. I LOVE IT! We have watched a bunch of movies while travelling and while not as great sounding as my dvd and bose system at home it is wonderful.

The only thing I have to ask is where can I get a cigarette lighter adapter for this little guy?

Buy one they're worth the money.

Summary: I am MR PORTABLE
Review: having everything portable and living out of my car VERY often due to business, I suggest this product to everyone. Sure it gets hot, so put it down.

The size is minimal, the quality is HUGE, the cost is high, but if you are into toys, this is the one. I can pack my whole trip-life into one small metal carryall. (Sony Watchman (colorTV and AM/FM), Gameboy, Laptop, mini tape recorder, letherman, GPS, camera, Palm pilot, and NOW the L50D) If you are a businessman who travels and gets bored, this is a lifesaver.

Trust me, an entire techie life is now portable thanks to the L50D. GET ONE!

Summary: What did I do before I got this?
Review: This little device is AWESOME! The picture and sound are very good, regardless of what some have said. Yes, the bottom does get warm during long movies, but it is not bothersome as most people do not hold it during the 3 hour movie. As for not being able to use it on a plane... YES YOU CAN! As an affiliate of American Airlines, the only time you cannot use this device (or any electronic device) is during take off or landings. During the flight and while parked at the gate, both CD players and DVD players (as well as nearly any electronic device) may be used. In fact, on my last flight, the flight attendants were enjoying catching bits and pieces of 'BirdCage' (the movie I had one) during their normal duties.

Now that the price has dropped it is even better of a deal. I highly recommend it for true DVD lovers!

Summary: Moble L-50 Usage
Review: I have had my Palm Theater for about 9 months and have had no problems. We call it Bellyvison. Put it on top of the sheets and it is just right for a winter night. DVD and electronic water bottle! The Sony 9V CD adapter does work (or has for the last 3 months anyway) despite what the manual says. Also suggest cassette adapter to get audio into car radio. Combination works great. Another suggestion: get the factory extended warranty.

Summary: A Great Buy.
Review: I bought this unit a little over two weeks ago, and have used it extensively. Here's what I've found. Everything good that's been said about this gadget is true, and out of everything bad, only one statement is true. The bottom does get hot. Not overly so, but it is just something to watch out for when watching very long movies. But think about it, are you really going to hold it in your hand for 3 hours? No. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who can afford it. One last thing though, to those of you who don't know, there are actually five different palm sized units on the market, the DVD L-10, DVD L-50 (both by Panasonic), the PDV-LC10 (by Pioneer), the PBD-V30 (by Sony), and the DV-L70U (by Sharp). I have had the opportunity to see ALL of these DVD players in action, and the L-50 blows them all away, it's cheaper, sleeker, smaller, and easier to use then the other players. This one is a great buy!

Summary: a wonderful little adult toy!
Review: I am not a tech buff, but this little technilogical wonder is a must have. The picture is crisp...you do not realize that the LCD is small...the speakers do give a shrill though when the volume is high. I bring it to my job on Sundays...and work slows down for the duration of a movie...Everyone loves it...especially the guys. They have that "how did this get past me" look on their faces everytime...I love it!

Summary: Great Portable Entertainment
Review: Unlike some of the other models available on the market (Pioneer & Sharp), I like the fact that I can change the screen image according to my taste. The picture is incredibly sharp, better than some high quality home sets. It connects to your home setup easliy and it Totally Portable! Unlike, some people, I have not had any problems with my unit skipping. It does however, heat up considerably after an hour or so, but does nothing in the way of compromising sound or video quality. I do suggest pluggin the unit in your wall when you are at home and saving the battery for when you go out. The charging is a pain for only a 3 hour charge. All in all I am truly amazed and very happy.

Summary: IT RULES!
Review: Hi, I've been enjoying reading the reviews and have a few things to say. After having the L-50 for a few months all I can say is that I LOVE IT. The image resolution is awesome, It is much lighter and less bulky then the previous version (the L-10) The battery lasts for a solid 3 hours, long enough for anyone to get through most movies. And although it heats up a bit, why are people complaining about that. It is not like the Palm Theatre is hot enough to burn you! In the few months I've had it, I LOVE it, it is definitely worth spending the money. And best of all, it hooks up perfectly with my home theatre system, something that a laptop does not!
