Summary: Little Wonder
Review: I got this a few weeks ago and have used it a lot. I took it on a crosscountry trip for a week too. It's been a marvel. I found myself on vacation shopping for more widescreen dvd's! I have had absolutely no trouble with it. The speakers are built it but due to it's size you can't get the real effect of stereo without earphones, but I prefer the earphones anyway. The battery lasts longer if you use the earphones too. Great stereo sound with them and a wonderful high quality picture. I thought the fact that the screen is small might bug me but it doesn't, the clarity is so beautiful that you forget the size and get lost in it.
My next purchase is the cable so I can use it as a DVD with my TV and see movies that way too. I am so glad I made this purchase!

Review: I have been searcing for a good portable dvd player for months and originaly i passed right past this one becaus i would perfer a 7" that was cheaper. then i actually went to stores and saw the cheap ones were a peice of junkwhen i got to the store i saw that this was $299 at circut city but the guy said to me that i could get an open box one that was that was returned and fixed for only $255. so i had a great deal and a high quality dvd player! so i recemond if you dont buy this online go to circut city and get an open box of this.

Summary: A life saver
Review: I travel a lot and this little device has helped me to retain my sanity.

The screen quality is good, and I've been able to connect the device to my parents wide-screen TV using the accompanying A/V cable. No problems.

The battery could last a little longer (around 2 hours) but that can be solved by picking up the extended life battery (Panasonic CGR-H601A/B Rechargable Battery Pack for Portable DVD Players).

This model does not have a memory stick slot, as do other higher end models. But it does handle MP3 CDs just fine.

The only real complaint I have is that the sound system can sometimes not be loud enough on an airplane--the sound of the engines overrides the sound from the movie making it hard to hear some softer sounds or dialogue. Noise cancelling headphones go a long way to correct this shortcoming.

Summary: So small yet sooo powerful!!!!
Review: I was hesistant at first to spend soo much money for just a portable DVD player, especially when it doesn't have progressive scan on it. But again, I don't have HDTV so it's no big deal. The player is soo cute and light weight. I have always been looking for a DVD player that plays VCDs and CD-R/RW. One test and feel of the DVD player, I never want to be apart from it again. It's trully worth buying dvd player.

Summary: Great for being the first
Review: I've had this player for over 3 years, and it's traveled with me to a number of locations. The quality is adequate comparable to today's portable players.

It even plays DVD+R, but I couldn't get it to play DVD+RW media.

I only get to watch one movie, as battery life averages 2:15 for me, and replacements are expensive, if available.

Summary: Good dvd player
Review: If you just want a DVD player, this is perfect. Good sound quality and image. One caveat, there is no audio/visual INPUT, only OUTPUT. So you can hook it up to your TV to watch a movie, but you CANNOT hook up a camera to it and play a video from your camera on it. With some of the more expensive models, there is a/v input that allow this - which is a nice feature.

Summary: Great Little Machine
Review: This is the only portable player that reads DVD-RAM discs. A must if you have a DVD Recorder from Panasonic. Sound is exceptional too (5.1, dts). Don't buy if looking for a portable DVD progressive scan, however. Buy their 8" model instead- but lacks other features. Prices are falling on this unit. Don't buy at retail price.

Summary: Great buy
Review: This player has a great picture for its size. The details are clear and it has pretty good sound by itself. For the money, you can't beat it.

Summary: MESMERIZING...
Review: This portable DVD player is light, compact, and has great picture clarity. It is capable of playing DVD's with DTS sound, as well as CD-R's and MP3s. I appreciate that I can plug it into the car, as well as hook it up to my TV.
