Review: Sharp screen, just beautiful. I compared several units in side by side test and nothing beat this one at this price range. I ended up spending more than I'd intended because I was just blown away by the quality.

Summary: GO WITH THE FIVE INCH SCREENS AND NOT THE SEVEN
Review: The 7 inch screens have terrible quality. The 5 inch screens are much better with the close range veiw you will most likely use while in a car or an a plane. When you are up close you think you were put in a time machine and sent back to the 1970's or 80's. If you want to use it as a regular TV and watch it from a distance go ahead and buy it, but I would go with the 5 inch.

Review: The panasonic dvd-lv70 is a great little piece of equipment, lightweight, great picture and sound. The reason I only gave it a 4 is that it only contains one jack for headphones. I thought the description that I read said it had two, which I needed.

Summary: 7 Inches Is Better Than 5 inches
Review: The screen quality of this Panasonic LV70 7 inch screen is truly amazing. At first, before I actually started watching a movie, it seemed that the screen might be too small probably because I'm use to watching a large screen TV. However, once I began to watch a show the picture quality and sound quality were so good, with or without headphones, that I immediately forgot that the screen size is only 7 inches. It did not seem too small at all once the movie began. Also, the little speakers that are built in the unit are very adequate producing a nice surround sound effect...and with headphones, it's awesome! As I was showing off this little guy at work I had people in my office watching some movie and they could not believe how watchable the screen is as well as the great sound coming from its little speakers. Eventually, I hooked it up to my 43" tv in my bedroom to see how clear the picture would be on a big screen. It truly produces a picture that is every bit as crisp and clear on my large television as the picture produced by my full size DVD player. And it is so easy to hook up and so portable. This is very nice and very easy to use! The clarity of the picture on the LV70 is also much better than the picture on my new laptop computer which has a DVD drive in it. Also, this unit is soooooo much lighter than my laptop! If you can afford to spend the money, get it!

Review: The unit works as advertised. (Our young children), took it over on the first trip and didn't look back. They can view it together without any problems. They had been used to a very small screen on a VCR bag system in the car so the large screen was a hit. The LV70 can come along in the plane and be connected to the headsets. The kids have requested it on just about every trip. I bought an inexpensive 9 volt power source from a local store that works well in the car to save the battery. This is an excellent product.

Review: This DVD player is THE BEST!! I bought this DVD player after researching all the info I could get my hands on about all brands and sizes of players. I love the one I chose!!! This player lasted through a long car trip (and even down the gravel road to my house) with never once a skip or a problem. I bought a plug-in that goes in the cigarette lighter that I used when the battery ran out. But actually I didn't have to use it much! I also bought a three way headphone splitter so all three of my children could watch from the back seat at once -- and I listened to the radio instead!!! It was heavenly. I would also recommend buying a carrying case that holds the player securely in the car.
Just one note on the sound -- on the freeway the hum of the tires was too loud for my children to hear the sound without headphones. But sound through headphones is amazing!!!! At home we use it without headphones and don't have any problem hearing!!! The picture is great, also. Not a single problem with the clearness and crispness of it! The screen is just the right size, and you soon get so immersed in the movie that you don't even notice it's on a smaller screen!!!! I have a four-door car, but this would work great in a mini-van. The back seat would not have a problem watching the movie -- but you'd have to pipe the sound through the car stereo system so everyone could hear well!!!
Also be informed that this DVD player can't get too hot or too cold, so plan on carrying it with you when you go places -- as it probably should not sit in a parked car in extreme weather!

Review: This is a real treat! For the frequent air traveler such as I am, it is hard to imagine a better diversion for the otherwise arduous flights. Pair this with a noise cancelling headphone and you are in another world for the duration. Bright screen, easy to use, relatively lightweight for the long battery life. All it lacks is a collection of your favorite DVD's.

Review: We were wary at first because so many reviews for all portable DVD players talk about skipping and needing to return the product. We're glad we found a winner. ... it has been worth every penny! Every month we've been commuting up and down California with a 1 and 3 year old in the backseat. Anyone who has a small child would appreciate knowing a 3 year old can be occupied well for 9 hours in a SUV. It's simple enough for my son to work the "mouse" to select his movies and play his Blues Clues and Thomas the Tank Engine games. The sound quality is great and the battery life is really long compared to others too (5+ vs 3 hours).
