The progressive-scan Toshiba SD-P2600 is your go-anywhere digital entertainment unit. This portable DVD player has an 8.9-inch polysilicon TFT screen (with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio for viewing standard, letterbox, and anamorphic DVD movies) and built-in Bass Reflex speakers. In addition to compatibility with DVD movie, CD audio, DVD-R, and CD-R/RW discs, the SD-P2600 also plays 2-channel DVD Audio discs as well as MP3/WMA digital audio files. You can also play digital audio and view JPEG images stored on Secure Digital (SD) or MultiMedia (MMC) memory cards using the integrated card slot. The SD-P2600 features the Super ColorStream Pro digital filter, which enables eight times oversampling of the component-video signal. This delivers the highest-quality video signal to be sent from the DVD player to a component-video-equipped analog or digital TV, eliminating such typical NTSC-related artifacts as dot crawl and flicker. The Toshiba Digital Photo Viewer is compatible with JPEG images as well as Konica, Fuji Photo, and Kodak Photo CD digital formats. An intuitive onscreen display helps you set up customized slideshows, and you can zoom, rotate, and pan the photos to create professional-quality presentations.
