Summary: Bring on the dogs
Review: Saw that one when i was about an 8 year old and i loved em the first instant. I watched em over and over and i'm still watching. Great metamorfose ( respect to baker and his very special special effects). there's a spooky atmosphere from beginning till end , and what a nice end ... the chaos when the wolf is on the loose in the city . Carcrashes, cops swooping all over the place and the scene inside the movie theater is outstanding. 5 stars for shure.

Summary: Definitely the BEST wereolf movie of all time...
Review: I've done quite a bit of studying on "real" werewolves and this is one fo teh few movies that shows their actual forms correctly. They do not turn into half human half wolf creatures, but from ALL human to ALL wolf. Grnated this was a large, unusual wolf but it was on four legs and everything. the humor is great, it doesn't make the mood "haha this is a comedy" but is still funny. The horror (especially the earliest horror scene) are frightening. Check this out, lycanthrope fans!

Summary: NOT AVAILABLE?
Review: this movie is available to buy on DVD from Blockbuster or Best Buy. Since the studio isn't printing it anymore (what a shame) I suggest you get it while you still can.

Summary: a briilant film
Review: What a great humorous film. Not available what a joke. I bet the pathetic werewolf in paris is though. Take it from me here's a bad moon on the rise but its a marvellous night for a moondance this blue moon. A great sound track

Summary: Very realistic
Review: Yes, well I should know, this movie is damn good--and realistic too!! The first time I turned, I was scared, as was the protagonist in this film, but, with a little time, I grew to love my new life as a werewolf. Silver does not work on werewolves as it does in the movies, which, by the way, is the only flaw I can find in this movie. See it, buy it, but don't ever go out in the moonlight!!

Summary: One of the best werewolf stories ever !!!!!
Review: They just don't make werewolf movies like this anymore. The special effects were superb considering that this movie came out almost 18 years ago. It would be great to see a widescreen version of this movie with an AC-3 soundtrack. The recent 'American werewolf in Paris' was feeble in comparison. I enjoyed the eerie opening atmosphere of the misty English country moors as the two friends are walking along the narrow country road. The tension rises as they wander onto the moors by mistake especially after being warned. This is a great horror story for a late night viewing.

Summary: Scary, bloody and funny
Review: An American Werewolf in London is one of the best horror movies ever made. Not because it is scary, but it's funny. Very really do horror movies other then those involving the cryptkeeper do that. It's funny to see Jack in his decaying stages. It's scary when he is chasing the guy through the halls of the subway station. It's funny in the porno theater. It's scary at the beginning. A great horror movie. Rated R

Summary: A witty amalgam of werewolves and comedy!
Review: A witty amalgam of previous werewolf movies and fully fledged horror make this the best werewolf movie to date. Rick Baker's special effects won an Oscar but the real thrills come from Jenny Agutter's steamy shower scene!
