Summary: Krull: A great masterpiece of science fiction films
Review: Krull is one of the greatest science fiction films, a true masterpiece. The amazing special effects are really impressive! The movie takes us into the planet Krull. Young prince Colwyn is getting married the beautiful princess Liza in an attempt to face better the Beast - a monster looking creature who wants to rule the world of Krull with the help of his army. During their wedding, the Beast's army attacks and takes Liza away into the Black Fortress (Beast's home). Colwyn, with the help of Inir, starts his journey to find and free Liza. The first thing he has to do, is to find the powerful Glaive, a really unique weapon. Soon, he will realize that his mission is more difficult than he thinks. He will get some more friends and all together, they will live a great adventure... The story of this film sounds and it IS exciting. Ken Marshall acts perfectly as Colwyn as well as other actors (including Lysette Anthony in the role of Liza). Some of the actors have probably the best performance than any other moment of their career. Freddie Jones and Liam Neeson (Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace) make the film even more brilliant. Krull is really unique, you have never seen a weapon like Glaive, it is probably the most impressive weapon that appears in a science fiction film. Also the soundtrack is a great synthesis by the great and very known composer James Horner, much better than Titanic's one... Totally, this film is amazing and will keep your interest until the end... I suggest it to everyone! I hope in the near future to be released in a hi-fi sound, widescreen version, in DVD format if that's possible and -why not?- to have a special version just like Star Wars trilogy! Krull exprerience is unforgetable!

Summary: 20 years later and it is still great!
Review: First, I am the review FOND MEMORIES (maybe 2 or 3 below me) that remember this film as a great fantacy escape from when I was a child. After I wrote the review I wanted to see the film again. I was worried that it would not be as good as I remember. No need, because it was excellent. The fantacy elements were still there. Even better is that I was able to understand (being much older now) the many truths that this film reveals. WOW, it is really good at making its points. The action is non stop for there is always something happening. The music is great and why not, since James Horner is the composer. This has to be issed on DVD with a directors cut or some sort of added footage. You will want more after you see it. It defenitly needs to be issued in WIDESCREEN because you really miss a lot of the action on the screen. So, please who ever has the power to make it happen (Mr. YATES mabe?), make it so. This film is glorious in every maner. I don't think that there is any other pure fantacy film out there that is as good as this one.

Summary: KRULL-TASTIC!
Review: Just take a look at the cover art and you know you're in for a real gem of a movie. My pre-teen obsession was this five-pointed throwing star thing (I didn't even recall that it shot lazers, as the cover implies). I am writing mainly to recommend this film based on the fact that it has stuck in my head for years. It could be awful, upon seeing it now, but then you really can't go wrong with a film called "KRULL." Also, I recall a sort of tackiness that made the film enjoyable on other levels, even as a child. Viva Krull!

Review: I saw this when I was a kid. All I can say is that I remember feeling very special when I watched it. It was a total escape. I lay asleep in my bed thinking about the movie and was being totally emerced in its fantacy.

Summary: One of my favorite fantasy movies!
Review: I have seen this movie numerous times. And even though it is a little cheesy in certain plot scenarios and special effects, it was incredible for its time. It has every thing a person could want in a fantasy. Monsters, mystery, and magic. This one is a must see for any fantasy lover.

Summary: Childhood memories
Review: I remember as a child watching this movie for the first time and being totally entertained by it. In fact I've watched it countless times and it's the only movie I've ever really remembered throughout my childhood. If anyone is looking for a moving story, and an entertaining movie, please pick up a copy of this movie.

Summary: Krull Rules
Review: Out of all of the many many movies I've seen, the good and the bad, Krull is one of the only ones that sticks out from my childhood. It was just a great film. It had awesome effects for the time, a range of great actors including Liam Neeson, probably one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard and everything you want in a film - action, love, comedy and even a mysterious side. Even though the "princess in distress" theme has been a little overplayed over time, this film pulled it off in a great way. This movie is definately one of if not my favorite film of all time.

Summary: Krull is Terrific !
Review: Peter Yates does a great job on this movie about a young warrior prince rescuing his bride who is being held captive by the beast. The prince named Colwyn goes out to rescue his bride with some men from a tribe in the mountains. The slayers are really creepy. Ken Marshall is great as Colwyn. Liam Neeson is one of the other warriors. A great movie.
