Summary: The Best Vampire Movie Ever!
Review: This movie rocks! Blade is very good at his job. I believe that appearances are everything, and as far as they go, this movie comes off remarkably well. The beginning is great, with the freaky bloodbath dance club of lowly suckheads. The best part there is when the kid that was brought there by some vampire chick drags himself across the blood-soaked floor to find the impeccable black-swathed form of Blade standing in his path. He makes short work of all the vampires in the whole place in a very cool slaying scene, but unfortunately does not kill the sidekick vampire Quinn, who wakes up at the hospital and bites the heroine doctor. It has many great scenes, and some awesome charcters. Deacon Frost, played by Stephen Dorff, is the coolest vampire ever, and in the finale he makes for a worthy opponent in the great sword fight between good and evil. The whole movie is packed with action and vampire history. I think everyone should see this movie and enjoy it. We shouldn't focus on what isn't good about this movie--I can think of only one thing--but rather on its good qualities.

Summary: the RAWEST vampire film ever!
Review: what can i say? neither vampire movies nor do other wesley snipes films get any better than this. blade, the half-human, half-vampire is the hero in this one going up against an army of the vicious blood-suckers. this film also has the very appropriate dark tone which is what makes the extreme rawness happen. steven dorff also "brings the pain" as deacon frost but snipes brings more of it. hands down, this is the best vampire film out there, and a tough one to beat.

Summary: Wesley Snipes, back with a vengeance
Review: Well now, where do I start, how do I start to describe one of the best films of the year that to be quite honest with you left me speechless, it left me feeling numb, for one reason, it was so good. Wesley Snipes takes the title role of the slick vampire hunter in modern times, and equipped with an array of weapons, manufactured for him by Abraham Whistler (Kris Kristofferson in a good performance as supporting actor), goes bashing the life out vampires, theres thrills, spills and loads and loads of blood as Wesley goes on the rampage, he then has to overcome his arch enemy, Deacon Frost, played by the menacing Stephen Dorff, who plays brilliantly opposite Snipes, for the simple reason that the two are so, so different, a slick, well manufactured plot, good actors and an action packed storyline all combine to make this one of the most enjoyable films I have seen for a long time, however this is closely contested by The Matrix(see my review), this is film which must be seen, at all costs!

Summary: Great Movie Villans just died a little too easily.
Review: Great movie lots of action no cheap looking vampires here. Just didn't like the idea of using silver against a vampire. I mean doing away with crosses I can understand, but silver is a strict werewolf thing, and the fact that they just crumble to pieces after being hit with it was a bit of a stretch. Good plot though and acting, and seeing his mother again at the end good idea.

Great for tension relief, and a whole lot of fun!

Summary: Snipes at his best
Review: The hype for vampires is probably at his heights in years, with the success of Buffy the Vampire slayer. So theres been a few vampire movies, such as John Carpenter's Vampires(not bad at all) and modern Vampires(very very poor) but Blade is by far the best. Blade is based upon a Marvel comic of the same name, and is basically about a vampire hunter(which is a half breed, played by Snipes) whos goes around killing vampires. The action is fast paced, sound track incredible and effects A grade. Blade is an all around great action flick. If you don't like glore, or action flicks don't watch, but if u do buy this now. The DVD package is still one of the best on the market, and a great one to buy yo show off to your mates.

Summary: Blade
Review: Excellent special effects. The story line has a twist from your normal "tooth and blood" vampire spoof. Snipe's hard, cool attitude goes well with the character. The special features are enjoyable.

Summary: Brilliant film!
Review: Blade is a very good film, with lots of gore and good plot. A sequel is inevitable.
