Summary: Bloody Awful
Review: Okay, I like zombie movies. I really do, and I'm willing to forgive a lot when it comes to low budget zombie movies. Especially ones that have their tongue firmly pressed into their cheek. Having said that, I think this may be one of the worst zombie movies to make its way onto the Blockbuster video shelves in a long time (and that's pretty bad, considering there's dreck like "Corpses Are Forever" out there).

It's not worth going into the plot, because there really isn't one.

It's vaguely like From Dusk Till Dawn with zombies, but without the Tarantino dialogue and Rodriguez direction. If you wind up renting this cowpie, look for the best editorial mistake ever. It's toward the middle of the movie, where the black drug dealer (stereotypes anyone?) says something like, "With all due respect, if you can point that gun somewhere else" then... watch for it, he actually mouths the other actor's line. Best part of the movie.

Summary: Satanic but its one of Asylum's better films
Review: The production in this one is better than the rest of Asylum's films. This one is pretty gory which means the make up and special effects personel did a good job in this one considering Asylum is notorious for doing horrid special affects. This one is a stereotypical type film in which the black guy plays a drug dealer but has the coolest part in the film. Oddly he ends up being the coolest character with a fun share of laughs and you actually hope he makes it but black characters as in horror tradition dont make it. The movie presents with nothing all that special in terms of storyline. A man by the name of Bill is hated by the town and of course he strikes a deal with the devil to reawaken and avenge his own death. He curses the town and comes back to life to claim them and become part of his army of the dead. As it seems people who enter this town never make it out because the town doesnt allow you out. As you run through the exit it mysteriously sends you right back in it back where all the living dead come to get you again. The only way is to kill Bill is with his own sword.

I wont give the entire movie away. The plot is somewhat muddled and somehow one of the characters in the film conveniently know the entire story of Bill. The storyline is average but makes up for it with the cool bad guy that gets them into this mess and the gory special effects. It is worth renting if you have nothing else to watch. Overall its a pretty corny film and Asylum is great at making them. So beware I do warn you.
