Summary: A poor man's "Boys From Brazil" with a cameo by the Fuhrer
Review: The Lucifer Complex is entertaining in that it is "B" movie schlock from the opening credits on. I personally enjoy "B" movies and am always a fan of novels and films dealing with Nazi Germany and the Third Reich. It's just such a great setting for suspense, horror, intrigue, etc., etc.(Ever notice the curiously "SS" look of Darth Vader and his notoriously German-like helmet?). This film contains much in the way of bad script, poorly delivered lines, a beautiful damsel in distress, and Robert Vaughn (the Man From U.N.C.L.E. himself) in the lead role, delivering lame, second-thought karate chops that take out bad guys. The best part of the movie is the eerie appearance toward the end of Hitler himself, who speaks for a bit, roasts one of his officers for incompetence, and then vanishes before their eyes in Star Trek "beam-me-up" fashion. This is great for fun get-togethers and parties, Mystery Science Theater fans, and general fans of the "B" Film genre.
