Summary: Pretty Bad
Review: Another movie using actresses seemingly straight out of soft porn. It's fun to watch them die onscreen sure, but it's redundant. I'm not surprised to read it's by the Shark Attack people. They're terrible too, but of course if they make a #4, I will rent it knowing it will be stupid.

Summary: Another lame Shark Movie
Review: Bad acting and bad effects make this movie awful. This movie was a little intresting, but could have been WAY WAY better. They coppied the same scenes from Shark Attack 2 and showed them over and over. When lots of great white sharks are killing tons of people at a beach resort ,its up to Wagner to kill them.It got pretty borring and made me want to go to sleep.Im warning you,do not see this movie!

Summary: Shark Attack 4?
Review: It might as well be, since it was made by Nu Image (the production company behind the Shark Attack films) and most of the crew members worked on the Shark Attack films. The plot's fairly simple: a school of sharks terrorize San Francisco, with a suplot about the Russian mafia thrown in for padding. I read some bad reviews for this movie before I rented the DVD last Saturday, so that's maybe why I sort of liked it, since I was expecting a bad movie. The acting wasn't very good, and the sharks were about 90% stock footage. The other methods were:
1. Scenes lifted from Shark Attack 2 (2000)
2. A very brief video-game quality CGI shot
3. Plastic fins
4. Scenes lifted from Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (2002)
5. Brief shots of a rubbery mouth.
6. A brief shot of an explosion from either Octopus (1999) or Jaws 3 (1982). It's hard to tell.
The sharks, which are great whites, don't act like sharks. For starters, they growl and roar, just like the sharks in Shark Attack 2 (2000). Second, great whites never swim in schools. They are independent creatures. And of course, sharks don't actually like the taste of people, but oh well. Another problem was the subplot, which was pretty boring and useless, except for padding, which I mentioned before. The acting isn't very good, and the music is dull and boring. Just one more thing: a couple people said the sharks ate a lot of people. Don't forget, there are 5 or 6 sharks in this movie, and together they only off about 25 people. As for the DVD, it's presented in full frame, which is really stupid. There are no special features, save for a 90-second trailer. I recommend only a rental, unless you like it.

Summary: Jaws Wannabe
Review: The movie was pretty awful especially as far as acting is concerned. I don't think it would have helped even if they put famous actors in it. They used the same scenes over and over again for each attack and you saw the same seagull several times...It looked extremely fake...visual effects were terrible....just plain awful, don't waste your money renting, wait until it comes out on cable.

Summary: Interesting Adventure Poorly Done
Review: This is another straight-to-video shark attack horror movie, with the same lame acting and poor special effects you would expect from a movie with a low budget. They do attempt to do a few things differently, such as having a school of sharks, as opposed to one shark. There is also a subplot involving the Russian Mafia searching for diamonds on a sunken pirate ship which I found to be pretty well-done. If you can get past the stiff acting by some of the stars and sit back to enjoy the movie, you might enjoy it. However, with no extras, it's hardly worth the cost to purchase it. I'd recommend rental instead.

Summary: SHARK BUFFET
Review: This movie certainly gave the sharks plenty to eat. While an out and out B movie, SHARK ZONE manages to scare up a few thrills and Dean Cochran is a pleasant, sensitively masculine hero. One big problem however is this: why would a Spanish ship be in the Pacific ocean? Would they have been sailing that way to get to the new world? Hmmm..no one seemed to question this very large plot hole.
Oh, well, one shouldn't expect Oscar caliber features from Nu Image, who obviously used footage from other shark movies, and was filmed in Bulgaria. But I enjoyed myself while watching the film, since I didn't have high expectations anyway.
Diverting if derivative.

Summary: So horrible it was funny
Review: This movie was so bad it was funny. Although it was ment to be serious, the bad acting, plot, and "shark attacks" made it hillarious. If you want a good laugh go ahead and rent it, don't waste your money on buying it.
