Summary: IT'S A NONSTOP HORRIFYING RICOCHET!
Review: THE BEST SUSPENSE THRILLER EVER!!!!!!!!! Also, it's the best Stephen King adapted movie. James Caan and Kathy Bates gave superb performances to make this movie horrifying. Bates, who not only received the 1990 Best Actress Oscar, but its also the best performance I have seen in the century. She and Caan combined elements of tone, mood, terror, horror, suspense, and claustrophobia into this chilling masterpiece filled with heart-stopping events. There's a scene in the movie where Annie is feeding Paul some tomato soup. At that time, she was afraid to give Paul a criticism about his latest novel. Anyhow, since Paul didn't agree that profanity shouldn't be in the novel, she went emotional. That of which took place in the movie. In the book, she threw the tomato soup across the wall, and went crazy. That and other examples make the movie the best Stephen King adaption. I hope you enjoyed this movie as much as I did. It's my favorite of all time!

Summary: Excellent, scared the hell outta me!
Review: Very suspenseful Stephen King adaption about a writer who has had an accident during winter in Colorado, and his #1 fan, rescuses him, and nurses him back to heath. Though when he re-writes his best selling novel not to her satisfaction, she goes completely spaz. Violent, though not explicitly graphic. Excellent! A must see!

Review: I had always wanted to see this movie. I knew I would love it so much that I went around telling people it was my favorite movie even before I saw it. I read the book first and it horrified me. It was GREAT! Then, I saw the movie, and even though I had read the book first, the movie still scared the beejeezus outta me. I was not disappointed. Kathy Bates was the scariest villain I've ever seen in anything and she chilled me to the bone. Kudos to her Oscar-winning perfrmance. This movie is great. I would hate to go through hobbling if you know what I mean...

Summary: A 2 hour film course in terror
Review: When I first heard the news that Hollywood was going to film the story by Stephen King, I was very suspicious. thinking about the end result. His novels rarely transfer well to the screen, especially in the hands of bad directors, bad actors, and worse, bad screen adaptations. One exception being " Carrie ". When I finally saw "Misery" the film, I was completely taken caught off guard by the brilliant work done by Mr.Reiner and Ms. Bates. Bravo!

Review: All I have heard about this movie was great but I didn't like the acting or anything in the movie, but I thought the book was great. In the books, we get to use more of our imagination sometimes and the movies, well, you can't really use your imagination in this one. I kept telling myself "ohh it will get better in a few mins" but it didn't. The biggest dissapointment was everyone telling me to get it, waiting this long for it to come in, then it not meeting my expectations.

Summary: Kathy Bates and James Caan are superb!!!!!
Review: In Misery a mentally unbalanced, psychotic nurse named Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates)nurses her favorite author Paul Sheldon (James Caan)back to health after she saves him from a car crash. But instead of sending him to a hospital where he really needs to go she keeps him a prisoner in her secluded cabin and forces him to write his greatest novel just for her. Locked in his room, addicted to the drug Narville she gives him to heel his pain, and at the mercy of this unstable female he doesn't have much choice. But writers can find their own ways to strike back...Superb acting. Bates does a good psycho. Perfect movie to watch alone but you might want to leave the lights on. Would love to have the video.
