Summary: Great horror!
Review: I read the other reviews here at Amazon about this movie and found they were all very negative to it. I, on the other hand, had the scare of my life watching it, and despite the ending I think it's one of the greatest horror movies I've ever seen! It builds up to some great scares, includes excellent acting (especially by the young boy playing Tad) and delivers some of the most frightening moments in horror history! Enjoy

Summary: A four-star short subject, a two-star feature
Review: The first hour or so of CUJO basically kills time. Then comes the exciting part where the rabid St. Bernard dog terrorizes a mother and child who are trapped in a stalled car. That half-hour would have been a scary short subject but sitting through CUJO's boring first hour made me wish I was late for the movie.

Summary: Terror Has A New Name...
Review: This movie is without a doubt one of the worst movies ever made! By the end of this movie I was crying it was so bad. The only good thing about this movie is little Danny Pintauro stars as Tad. But other then that this movie is truely terrible. DON'T RENT IT OR BUY IT UNLESS YOU HAVE READ THE BOOK AND LIKED IT!

Summary: Mostly A Complete Bore
Review: "Cujo" is about a rabid St Benard who turns on a woman and her son, adopted from the Steven King novel. Not much to say about the film. It's rather boring with notthing to grasp your desire for entertainment, save where the dog makes a few scary poses. The actors do little to enliven things or make sense of it. Plus the direction, story and editing is often sloppy and nonsensable. Plus, I've sworn the the blood in the gory scenes looked orange instead of red for some reason. In the end, "Cujo" is often forgettable and is more likely to put you to sleep than scare you.

Review: Having read the Stephen King book I was rather disappointed with this adaptation. It has its moments but it's all generally rather lightweight horror. Don't get me wrong, it's an entertaining film, but it's just not the scarier, more involved thriller it could have been.

Summary: Cujo's bark is fierce at first, but loses its bite at end
Review: Let me begin by simply saying this: If you've read the book and you enjoyed it, you may not like this adaptation. It moves too quickly. The affair between Donna and Vic is not explained well enough. The dog scenes were pretty good and gory, but otherwise it's a pretty average film. The book is far better. As for the ending of the film, I don't like it. However, there have been worse adaptations of Stepnen King novels (remember "The Running Man?")

Summary: A great film that's quite hard to watch.
Review: This film can be quite disturbing and hard to watch. If you do not like seeing very young 5-year old children suffering and crying their eyes out and screaming you may not like this. Ok, so most of the film at the beginning drags a bit, but it introduces you to the characters and it deeps down into their lives. But once Cujo kills his first victim the real scary stuff begins to happen.The film is about a dog named "Cujo", who gets bitten by a rabid bat while he is chasing a rabbit. We then move to a family: mom (Donna), dad (Vic) and their son (Tad) and we look at their lifestyles and problems. We then go back to Cujo, who is beginning to get very dirty and hiding in many places away from his owner in their farm. Cujo soon transforms into the monster he becomes after the rabid bite and kills the owner. Then, Donna and Tad are driving along the road, when their car suddenly stops in the middle of Cujo's far. No one is in sight, until Cujo suddenly appears. Donna and Tad are forced to stay in the car, so Cujo can't kill them. Whenever Cujo tries to attack the car it can be quite disturbing and frightening. There are also lots of jumpy moments and un-predictable ones. I would only watch this if you are a hardcore horror movie fan, or a Stephen King fan. But there are some really shocking scenes which could be too much for others.

Summary: Great movie
Review: I personally have always enjoyed CUJO. I remember see'ing it when i was a young lad and enjoyed it then and still do now. A must for any fan of horror or whatever category people would put it in. A movie about a rabid dog that traps a mother and her homo son in a car a little boring in the begining but becomes a very good action filled .Worth the money as it was one of the first dvd's I purchased.

Summary: Entertaining Flick!
Review: Simple movie....family dog chases a rabbit into its hole. While in there gets bit by a rabid bat and is transformed into a murderous hound. It's done well and is definitely entertaining enough to hold your interest. Dee Wallace is again great as the scream queen. The one scene that seemed goofy was where Dee Wallace knees the St. Bernard in the groin which somehow temporarily paralyzes the 200lb rabid dog just enough so she can make it back into the Pinto.
Worth seeing for sure!
