Summary: Not what I had hoped for...
Review: Let me start off by saying that I am a huge horror fan, and my absolute favorites are the cheesy 80's flicks. That said, when I chose to watch a new (2003) horror movie, I never expected to see a film that was trying so hard to copy the "cheesy 80's horror" genre. Some things just cannot be copied and still maintain entertainment value. This film wasn't funny or exciting on any level, at least to me. The actors were dull, and the story was not developed well. The displays of nudity seemed to be placed in hopes of attracting hormonal teens. Oh, and there were no subtitles, which is a 'must' in our household. For people looking for a truely entertaining cheesy horror flick, I suggest "Dolls" and those looking for a good modern horror should keep looking. Just my opinion, as always.

Summary: Hallow's End is way better than the peons are giving credit.
Review: Listen up, folks, almost every review I've read on Amazon (no matter what the movie) is whining and squealing about how there is not enough character development. Now, finally a movie comes along like Hallow's End that has as much character development as any movie I can remember (hey, let's give the audience characters to actually CARE about, what an idea), and some of the reviews are complaining about there being too much character development!! What a joke!! Take the movie for what it is, a Halloween bloodbath with lesbian action and characters we care about. The acting was subtly better than a lot of you are giving credit for, especially Stephen Cloud and Matt Moore. Cloud is going to be a star sooner rather than later people!! I can't wait to see his next project, I will be there opening night! Don't listen to the hating Cloud, just reach for the stars!!

Review: Look out Tom Cruise, there's a new kid in town. Stephen Cloud is a young and handsome actor and is rising to the top very quickly and with no end in sight. His starring role in Hallow's End is just the beginning. Look forward to seeeing more of Stephen Cloud.

Review: oh my god, does anyone else think that stephen cloud himself wrote all the reviews on this site... i mean did anyone watch the movie..it blewwww! personally, when i watch a movie, even a good one, i dont tell someone about the actors in it, i tell them about the plot. oh but i guess this would be hard to do for this movie because there IS NO PLOT! or if htere was a plot, i dont htink anyone could stand to watch to the movie long enough to find out what it is! once again,it BLOWS! this is by far the most boring movie i have ever watched..sorry to break it to ya if you did wroite those reviews, ahem steven!

Review: OK,PLAIN AND SIMPLE...If your a horror junkie like i am, this movie is not for you.If your looking for a so-bad-it's-good film, this is not it. If your looking to become an actor/actress and you want to know how to go about it..again this is not for you. Here's what i really think of this film..without being to harsh! NOW SIT BACK AND ENJOY AN EXCULSIVE BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT THE MAKING OF "HALLOW'S END".... This movie looks like a college film project made by the most popular and richest kid in the school who's determined to get an A so he can impress his new girlfriend and father he never sees, so he gets some friends and family to act. "Don't worry guys, we got cue-cards..so just act natural" he tells them. For the location, he remembers that the owner of the warehouse is a golf buddy of his father "Sure, anything for Walter's son..how's your father anyways, still in Europe?" Then, it's time to find a make up artist "Wait" he asks his buddy's "Think Amy still works at the make up counter in Wal-Mart?" Thankfully she did, and she agreed to help and she also got a discount on the make up cause she works there! Things are going so well up to now, he's got everything he needs to make a movie, location, actors, script (coffee fell on the papers but you can still make out most of it), make up artist, camera and tripot.(newest model at circuit city!)So he calls everyone and says that we has to start shooting over the weekend because the project is due for next week Thurday. To his amazement, everyone is ready and willing to do this film and to help him out even more, every "actor" brought with them their friends, moms, little brothers to be "extras" in the film! So 5 days pass and the film is finally completed, he is so exhausted but he knows it was all worth it..one day HE IS going to be that big hollywood type director everybody will want to work with! "Reach for the stars" he tells his friends "..and never let go, Hollywood here i come!" That's the last his friends ever heard of their aspiring director friend "What do think ever happened to him" a buddy asks a buddy "Don't know, but i really hated that film he made in college..dude, it really sucked!" THE END Sorry about the sarcasm but this film is a disgrace to all horror fans and i wish that people will open their eyes and realize that horror films are slowly becoming comedies and not taken seriously anymore. SHAME ON EVERYONE THAT WAS INVOLVED IN THIS PICTURE..ONE OF THE WORST HORROR FILMS OUT ON DVD!

Summary: This is just plain awful
Review: Since no one else wants to talk about the plot or the story, I guess I'll take a chance and do just that. This is a pathetic soap opera thinly disguised as a horror movie. A group of young people turn a warehouse into the 'Boneyard', an annual Halloween tradition to raise money for charity. Pumpkin Jack (who is really Satan or some other demon) contributes props for the haunted house. One of the things he gives is an ancient book of spells. OK so we got this guy who plays a real jerk to everybody, and even punches out his girlfriend. The girlfrined's ex is also there and he is a wimp times 10. The girlfriend wants to come out of the closet with a lesbian that once had a three way with her and the jerk. Heidi is the wimp's girlfriend who ends up being a witch. All the guests trapped in the haunted house end up being what they are dressed up as (Zombies, vampires,etc.) The wimp and his ex-girlfriend are the only ones who get out alive. The kills are a joke. There is certainly no horror or fright to speak of. We get a so-so lesbian scene. The anti-climax of this movie with all the 'monsters' is roughly the last 20 minutes of the film and it's pathetic. I wouldn't recommend this movie even as a joke. This was probably the worst movie made since 'Galaxy of the Dinosaurs' and 'Chickboxer'. Don't be fooled by the snazzy cover or write up on the back. This movie straight up sucks.

Summary: STEPHEN CLOUD IS HOTTER THAN JOHNNIE DEPP!
Review: Stephen Cloud carries this movie and is way hotter than Johnnie Depp. Stephen Cloud is going to be the new biggest thing in hollywood no question about it. The way he handles this performance here is outstanding, and he's so hot. The movie is pretty decent with some scary moments, and his arch rival Matt Moore did a great job as well. It's a fun movie and a must see! No question about it Hallow's End will be tops on the Halloween Charts soon and Stephen Cloud will tops in the box office soon.

Review: Stephen Cloud is the crown-prince of Hollywood's elite acting royalty, folks. His portrayal of Tom Sharp in Hallow's End is the reason why people go to the movies in the first place, in hopes of seeing greatness before their very eyes. His acting prowess and panache were showstopping, and this movie will be a Halloween tradition I share with my family for many years to come. Hats off to you, Mr. Cloud, thank you for making an outstanding movie, and let me say it is merely a matter of time before you are setting the new global gold standard for the mark of first-rate acting. Keep up the hard work, Stephen Cloud! And for anyone who hasn't yet seen Hallow's End, you must do so immediately!! You will be kicking yourself for not seeing it sooner.
