Summary: One of the worst horror movies ever...
Review: ... and that's statement! This is one of the dumbest and most cliche movies ever. I literally felt I had wasted 90 minutes of my life after watching it. Hell, it wasn't even worth the $1 rental fee. The plot is about an urban legend about some guy who worked as an embalmer and killed his wife and kid and supposedly his old house is haunted. The one original aspect of this movie is that it is set in the ghetto. Some girl who is abused by her foster parents and her boyfriend go drive around with two friends and end up getting chased by the police. They go hide in an open garage they see which happens to be in the embalmers old house. The car breaks down and they decide to go wander around the house.(Never saw that idea before!) After a bunch of exhaustinly boring drama scenes about the people's relationships, the embalmer starts to pick them off one by one. Finally just the girl and her boyfriend are left. Then the boyfriend reveals the embalmer is his father and the girl decides to join them. Then they all go kill her abusive foster parents and live happily ever after. Overall, if you took the ghetto vibe out of this movie you would have just your average teenager's-running-around-getting-killed-by-a-maniac movie, only on a much lower budget. Not even worth a rental.

embalmer is a ghetto movie that is actually pretty good. does start off pretty slow but the last 20 to 30 minutes is actually pretty good. zach the undertaker is killing people for their parts to bring back his wife and daughter from the dead. pretty entertaining movie with a real good ending. worth checking out, not half bad. will have to admit it was a lot better than i expected.
