Rating: Summary: I was a happy camper Review: I love slashers in the woods.Shame, that films like this doesnt exist anymore. With 80's actors that you must love, beautiful camp, sun and inventive murders, you can watch this film over and over again.
Rating: Summary: Best Nonfamous Movie Review: I loved every one of the Sleepaway Camp movies! Pamela Springsteen plays a great role as Angela "Angel of Death". I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a horror-comedy.
Rating: Summary: THE ULTIMATE SLASHER MOVIE!!!!!!!! EVER.. Review: I watched this movie for the first time on rental back in 94 and thoroughly enjoyed it . It has the lot sex, comedy, puzzles where i must of blamed everyone at least once as the killer. It mostly reminds me of the present day scream trilogy. this badly needs a D.V.D release, maybe as a box-set... my favourite death was when ondre and calvin were cut to bits and marshall slipped on the grit while in persuit of the killa... same again this movie is highly recommended to all fans of this genre.
Rating: Summary: make some popcorn and get some cokes, your in for a goodnight Review: if you and your significant other don't have anything planned for the night, I recommend this movie for a entertaining evening. although, I do reccommend that you get the whole series. this movie is both scary and funny. if you like friday the 13, you are bound to enjoy this flick.
Rating: Summary: PAMELA SPRINGSTEEN'S BRILLIANT Review: NIGHTMARE VACATION 2 (SLEEP AWAY CAMP 2 UNHAPPY CAMPERS) IS A GREAT FILM ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FAN OF FILMS LIKE FRIDAY THE 13TH AND HALLOWEEN.SADLY I DIDN'T SEE THE ORIGINAL BUT THIS ONE WAS ONE THAT HAD LOTS OF HUMOUR AND VIOLENCE INCLUDING A SCENE WHERE TWO SISTERS ARE BURNT ALIVE ON A BARBECUE!. IT IS A SLASHER FILM WITH A DIFFERENCE AND NOT TO BE TAKEN TOO SERIOUSLY.THE KILLER USES INVENTIVE WAYS TO MURDER HER VICTIMS AND THE FILM PROVIDES AN ADEQUATE PLOT TO KEEP HORROR FANS INTERESTED.I WOULD RECOMMENED THIS FILM TO ANY FAN OF SLASHER MOVIES AND I GUARANTEE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.MAKE SURE YOU GET THE FULL UNCUT VERSION.
Rating: Summary: not the best Review: not a good movie!!! they shood have a remake a remake starring Fillisa rose!!! {the original sleepaway camp!]
Rating: Summary: Angela Is Back.................. *YAWN* Again Review: Ok well this is a pretty good movie for its time the acting is better than the first in the trilogy, which still in no way says alot about the acting in this film. Well in this one Angela is older and a camp counsellor, so now she is in charge of the poor unfortunate kids and she is not letting anyone get away with anything. This movie is great if you want some tacky one liners and to be scared witless (only of the acting), but all in all it is great to add to your collection :)There are also some references to Angela in the movie that to understand them you would have to see the 1st in the series where she is a kid at summer camp, no wonder she ends up the way she does from the way she was treated there as a kid.
Rating: Summary: this is funny and pretty gory Review: ok when i first read about the sleepaway camp movies,i really wanted to see them, and this was the funniest out of all 3 of them, part 3 was too,but this one was funnier,i have watched a few times now and i aint sick of it yet.buy it today!
Rating: Summary: Baby Psycho Jane gets a sex change Review: Pamela Springsteen is a very effective replacement for a missing Felissa Rose in the part of Angela (Baker), the killer from the original Sleepaway Camp. I mean, they probably could never have gotten Felissa to do this movie. And she is the only reason to see this movie. Some viewers might recognize Ms. Renee Estevez from the much better Heathers. But she gets a pretty crappy role, so does the rest of the cast. So the fact that they are all local hires is only half as damaging as it is usually.
The only role anyone would actually clammor for on this project would have to be the killer. This is one of those movies where we root for the killer. This is a sort of Friday the 13th-type flick, killer in the woods offing deliquent teens breaking certain American social taboos, where the killer is really a glorified stern parent. Where the killer is convinced they are doing the world, or more importantly the camp, a favor by "weeding out" the "bad" campers. And though these campers are pretty darn amoral and debauched and enthusiastic to break the camp's rules, the killer still gets a pretty good part.
The new Angela gets her share of one-liners. But it almost takes a skilled actress to do that and still look crushed when she's fired for "sending the bad campers home". Still Pamela Springsteen is an ideal choice an actress to do it. She takes a certain intriguingly unidentifiable glee in giving everyone their due chance to prove their goody-two-shoed-ness. But still the movie suffers tremendously in every way from pedestrian execution, to the bad plot that we couldn't care about, to outrageously poor acting, to unimpressive FX, to just being overly tasteless.
But taken as a "so bad it's good" movie, it's actually kind of fun. Just because we know Pamela has something inside we hope will unlock itself in Sleepaway Camp 3.
Rating: Summary: this movie rules Review: pamela springsteen is both horrifying and sympathic in her role and does awesome as she kills the teens because they are bad!
