Review: Child's Play 2 is the best part in the Child's Play series! It is very well acted out. This all goes to Alex Vincent and Christine Elise who acted the best in Child's Play 2. Anyone who liked the first child's Play must see this part. I rate this movie with 5 stars.

Review: Sequel of Tom Holland's Child's Play ( 1.988 )but not so good than the first one. Here, Andy is trying to find a new family when his mother is in a institucion. He find to good " parenths " Joanne ( Jenny Agutter from An American Werewolf in London ) and Phil Simpson ( Gerrit Graham). But, how the slogan says, Chucky's back ! And is gonna tried to pass his soul to Andy's body no matter what he must to do....

Review: Decidely the second-worst movie in the CP trilogy. CP 3 is the best, CP 1 the worst. (CP 1 was good but it is the worst of the three). This one has more Chucky action and less slowness to the premise - a plus. Poor Andy is sent to foster care where him and Kyle must battle Chucky's evil. The movie is a bit unbelieveable - The factory ressurects the very same doll that may have been responsible for the murders? Even if they don't believe it, this gets a thumbs-down as the opener. It would've been deliciously spooky for Chucky to ressurect himself, but then again, how would he have?
Overall, the acting is mostly average. Jenny Augutter does fairly well, Gerrit Graham -- tries, and the actress for Kyle does an excellent job. Alex Vincent does not do as well as the first film; he's lost the 6-year-old "innocent" feel.
I'd say this is more worth a buy than a rent. Most people say watching a few times increases the stregnth of the impact of the movie.
The ending on the VHS & DVD is Kyle and Andy walking outside of the factory. Some cable channels show the beginning of the third movie to end this one: Chucky getting reassembled and smiling. That's a mistake.
This movie, especially the last fifteen minutes, delivers fairly well for the price. I'd never say STELLAR, but I'd say good or maybe great.

Review: This sequel picks up where the first one left off. Young Andy is now in foster care after being taken away from his mother. He still has nightmares about his killer doll. Little does he know that the company has completly reconstucted Chucky. After Chucky escapes from the factory, he tracks Andy down to his new home. He begins to do things that get Andy in trouble and nobody listens when Andy tells them "Chucky's back". When Chucky and Andy have their final showdown at the doll factory, Chucky finds out that it is now too late to transfer his soul. He is now human. This enrages Chucky and his goal now is to kill him. Not as good as the original, the sequal is decent at best.

Review: When I was a kid, me and my mom always liked watching the three "Child's Play" movies and we used to watch a lot of other great horror series together such as "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th." Now that I'm grown, I'm still a big fan of all those classic horror series. I like all the movies in the "Child's Play" series, but "Child's Play 2" is by far the most memorable one for me. Chucky is back and he's meaner than ever in this sequel to the groundbreaking classic that featured a demonic doll named Chucky. The dolls are named 'Good Guy,' but Chucky isn't so good. Chucky needs to find a new body soon or something will happen to him that he won't be too fond of. Just like in the original, Chucky is on the hunt for a boy named Andy (Alex Vincent), who is terrorized by the sight of any doll that looks like Chucky. I like all the movies in this series except for "Bride of Chucky." I don't know which one of the first three is my favorite, but this one, "Child's Play 2" is definitely the one I remember the most. Chucky seems more evil than ever in this sequel and many parts, especially the parts that take place in the toy factory, will stick with you long after you've seen the movie. The acting is decent overall, but the special effects and the musical score go great with the movie's horror moments. If you like classic horror movies, I definitely recommend getting "Child's Play 2." If you get just one movie from the series, get this one! It's no child's play when there's a knife-wielding, cursing, and killer on the loose in the form of a doll.
