Summary: You Can't Keep A murderous Doll Down
Review: Child's Play 2 picks up where the original left off. Little Andy has been adopted by a family(his Moom is undergoing psychiatric treatment). And, surprise surprise, Chucky has been re-created by the toy company. Little Chuck is back to life and continues his search for Little Andy. The movie is a real 'jump scare' type of movie. You know what's going to happen and where. Geritt Graham gives the best performance in this pretty mediocre and disappointing follow up to the fun original. Christine Elise, as the bad girl foster daughter Kyle, doesn't pull it off. She looks the part, but it doesn't ring true. This is a pretty messy effort. The end climax in the toy factory is a highlight. The best set piece in the entire series. Ho hum. Easily the weakest entry in the mediocre series. But wait, there would be more. A better entry will come in the form of "Bride Of Chucky". Not too good.

Summary: Chucky's Back, and he's ready to rip Andy a new one
Review: I think this one was very well done. It can't begin to compare with it's predecessor, but it doesn't fall far behind. As with the first sequels: This one bends the rules. The other noticeable detail in this one, is that it signifies the deterioration in the 'Child's Play' series. This one also forshadows just how stupid the next one will be.
This time, four years (two years in real life) after Chucky's first rampage, ten year old Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) is sent to a foster home, The Simpson house, While Chucky is being rebuilt by the sinister Play Pals corp. The plot in this one focuses on the Play Pals Corp. As Andy is just getting over the fact his mother was sent to a mental institution, Chucky quickly tracks Andy down.
In this one, we learn more about Andy, as well as Chucky. The body count rises as Chucky chases Andy around suburban Chicago. Until Andy, and his seventeen year old foster-sister, Kyle (Christine Elise), meet up in the factory, with Chucky. After the two heros defeat Chucky, and I see the gate rise to show them walking away from the Play Pals factory, warm tears begin to invade my eyes, my fists clench in anger. I want to break down and cry, I also want to punch somebody. This isn't because this was a bad movie or that I'm sad cause Chucky died, it isn't. It's because this was the last great 'Child's Play' movie. The next one is just a waste of time. This is also the last time we see Alex Vincent, who did a terrific job playing as Andy Barclay.

Summary: The Chuck's 2nd opus is killer!
Review: The little one's back in " Child's Play 2 ", a very promising sequel to a horror classic! The beginning sequence in this film is incredibly eventfull. Very commercial opening, very exciting. And the rest of the film, while not as compelling as horror master--Tom Holland's original hug-buddy-gone-mad & bad flick, is still a hell of a ride!

I can't see how some one would be bored or non-amused by this horror flick. The acting by little Alex Vincent is perfect. The plot concerns the GOOD GUY doll company re-building the Chucky doll, THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE! Chucky's powers end up sending one company fella flyin' threw a glass window, and others in the dark hearing mysterious footsteps...wonder who that could be. It just so happens, the lights come on and the mad snuggle-friend has LEFT THE BUILDING. He ends up finding Andy, using mystique-horror villain sencors to find him, like previous horror icons like The Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, Michael Myers, etc. etc. I'm not really poking fun, its really a great thing that these characters have these mystique qualities, HORROR MOVIES are SUPPOSE to be scarier and more mysterious than real life is ever suppose to be. Anyway, back to " Child's Play 2 ", Chucky finds Andy, causing all kinds of trouble, his foster father believes the kid's been eating to many fruit-loops with his Monstervision marathons. The Chuck ends up chasing Andy and Kyle, a teen girl (who would later appear in Body Snatchers) around in a toy factory, with all kinds of maze-fun and gore-galores, fun it sure is. If you've not yet seen this snuffle-and-buffle killer doll opus with our favorite snuffle-and-buffle killer doll himself, Chucky, I suggest you pick it up and have ONE HELL OF A MONSTER MASH!

P.S. Also pick up the original classic and Parts 3 and " Bride Of Chucky. " You could find yourself saying " Its only a movie, but that's what these characters in these movies say."

Summary: Just as good and entertaining as the first.
Review: Note: contains spoilers.

Child's Play 2 is an excellent follow up to the original Child's Play.In my opinion it's just as good as CP 1,if not better. The story, though cool,is a bit predictable and CP 2 has quite a lot of false shocks. In fact, most of the scares are predictable. However,CP 2 added a VERY welcome sense of humor and Chucky has one-liners galore here. There are tons of funny moments.I laughed really hard throughut the entire film. The level of gore is also a little higher than that of the first,so if your looking for gore, you won't be disappointed.Chucky's demise at the end is very gruesome and some of his victims die pretty painfully. The music is very good ands works quite well with the movie. It's scary,action-packed,and at times, heroic and dramatic.Whoever composed the music here should win an award. The score is fantastic. The acting is still great.Brad Dourif is still very devilish at voicing Chucky and he curses a whole lot here. There are lots of amusing moments and the finale in the Good Guy doll factory is one of the best movie finales I've ever seen and is by far the best overall part of the film.Overall, Child's Play 2 is a simply excellent sequel to the excellent original. It's not as dark as the first, nor as scary, but it's so damn entertaining.CP 2 lacks quite a lot in scares due to a lot of plot holes and humor, but the film is simply great fun. I would suggest you buy it now.

Rated R for some gruesome death scenes and a lot of profanity.

Summary: The chuck-man is back.
Review: Well its been a little while, but the people at the toy factory have finaly caught up with the burnt remains of the perverously tourtured chucky. Just because they gave him a new body dose not mean the evil soul of the notorious starngler Chariles lee ray has left the migget body, just yet. He still has to find the boy andy from the first movie so he can do the soul switch. Other wise chucky will have to remain a doll for ever. In Child's Play 2 he gose to great and exiting lenghs to catch to boy and pick off most of the people around him.

Its not hard to figure out why lots of critics hated this movie, but its also not hard to figure why horror and fathful fans(like my self)thought pretty highly of the 2nd childs play. Its very fun to watch, but then again its also not as smart as the first or really as chilling. There is more gore.

Summary: Best Out Of All 4 Chucky Movies
Review: "Child's Play 2" is the scariest and most suspensfully entertaining one out of all 4 Chucky movies. It has the most action, suspense, and horror along with a great plot and ending. Although you should see the first one before this one so that it will make sense.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL
Review: CHUCKY IS GIVEN A BRAND NEW BODY. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, HE GOES ON ANOTHER RAMPAGE TO FIND ANDY BARCLEY. ALMOST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST. THE FINALE, WHICH TAKES PLACE IN A DOLL FACTORY, IS THE MAJOR HIGHLIGHT OF THE MOVIE. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT MANY HORROR SEQUELS FAIL TO BE. BUY THIS ONE NOW!
