Summary: The feelings of certain teenagers do not reflect them all.
Review: I'm 16, and I hated this. And yes, I will compare it to "Scream" as the people who made it obviously did. This definitely would have sat on a shelf had "Scream" not been successful. But people flock to it anyway with all of its pretentious Dawson's Creek meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast. Jennifer Hewitt (I refuse to use her retarded nick/middle name.) and her "hip, teen-friendly" circle of friends nail a guy on the interstate. Right there, it could have been good. It could have been intrigue, instead the film-makers decided to make it a "Friday The 13th" rip-off. (Isn't THAT sad?!) The guy that they ultimately decided to dump in a creek (Dawson's?) somewhere comes back to life and *gasp* starts hacking up the characters who haven't been developed enough for you to actually care if they live or die. Frankly, you want most of them dead. All in all, it truly isn't a "Scream" rip-off rather than a leech on its popularity. "Scream 2" is successful as well, so surprise surprise, people flock to a second installment of the dead guy trying to off Jennifer Hewitt. (Calling yourself Love...) I hope that there isn't a "Scream 3" (although I did like the other 2) just so I don't have to hear any more about this crappy "series". It isn't even scary. It's not funny, it's not witty, it has no emotion, no message, no heart, no creativity, no reason for watching it. I realize I'm committing teen-age heresy here, but I hate everything about this. "Disturbing Behavior" sucks too. Yeah, I said it.

Summary: No big woop
Review: The author of "I Know What You Did Last Summer", the great Lois Duncan, deserves a huge apology for how dumb this was. Duncan's novel was based on suspense. The movie was based on gore. The movie barely follows the book. In the book, the story starts at that year later, keeping the reader hanging, trying to figure out what they did. Of course, some books and movies should have that sort of epilogue, but not this. It should have been shown to the crowd through flashbacks. But that is the least of this. The acting is terrible, and the pace is lost from the beginning to the end. The climax was NOT thrilling, and the murder scenes were just stupid. Hewitt played the character of Julie so terribly. You could tell she was about to giggle, like she does every other second of her day. Gellar was just terrible, as was Prinze and Phillipe. The four of them were terrible actors, and the movie was so lame. I mean, that whole scene with the body and crabs in Julie's trunk was done up so terribly, and when she returned to find that--oh my!--the corpse AND crabs were gone, I wondered, "Well, how the hell did the killer do that so quickly?" Anyhow, this movie doesn't deserve any of the hype it gets. It's absolutely horrible.

Summary: One star for Anne Heche the other for S-M. Geller
Review: I'm sorry but I thought the movie reaked. If you haven't seen it yet, don't bother. For one thing, it brutilized Louis Duncan's book. For more things, it has bad (FAKE) corpses, the ppl (w/the exception of the two mentioned on top) did NOT show any of their wonderful acting talent, and the guy w/the hook was absolutely pathetic. Okay, okay. Watch it if you want a good laugh.

Summary: I know what you did last summer
Review: This movie is much better than Scream. The man with the hook is more scarier than the guy in Scream with that stupid mask. The actors are very good en some scenes too. I'm looking forward to see I still know what you did last summer.

Summary: Pretty bad
Review: Compared to it`s cousin "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (long enough title?) is pretty god-awful. First off, it was totally blatant that the film tried to live up to Scream`s quality, but it fails miserably. 2 out of the 4 lead actors can`t act (It`s pretty obvious who), and the plot is pretty vapid and stupid. In fact, the plot is an example of what "Scream" jeered at. "IKWYDLS" has the basic running through the woods, killer with hook, unexpected jumps, "open the door!" substance that gets tiring, FAST. The only positive thing about the movie is it kept the gore to a minimum.
