Summary: Sleep, those little slices of death....
Review: Wes Craven makes a Nightmare for all the kids who saw the first one when it came out and now are in their twenties and thirties facing adulthood. A post-modern horror fable that will make you afraid to look at your rubber Freddy claw, if you have one.

Summary: Most Original Nightmare
Review: Wes Craven has provided a most original movie starring......well.......the actors themselves! That is what I found fascinating. Freddy going after the real life actors. WHAT A STORY! I have seen this movie a million times and I love it more each time I see it! GET THIS MOVIE! Maybe not as scary as the first one, but it works!

Summary: GOD BLESS YOU WES!
Review: Wes Craven returns to make the 7th of the nightmare movies and ends up making the best one in the series so far. Everything about this movie is great. Freddy is trasformed into a darker and more evil Freddy than before. The idea of a movie inside a movie was a stroke of genious to say the least. The Blood, Gore and langauge has been cut to make this more of a Family Friendly movie and it still is able to chill you to the bone. I give this movie 100 Stars. ALL HAIL WES CRAVEN THE KING OF HORROR!

Summary: realistic spin on the nightmare series
Review: this movie is awesome, not quite as good as nightmare 1 but easily right behind it. the plot is this: heather langenkamp (the brunette that played nancy in NOES 1&3) is having dreams about freddy, bad ones. her son is acting strange as well. a new NOES is being made inside this film, but people keep getting slaughtered. heather talks to john saxon (the guy who played her dad), wes craven (creator of freddy), and even robert englund (the guy who plays freddy) and she finds that freddy is a real demon and freddy in the movies was just a cover-up. this is the best sequel, go see it!

Summary: The best of the entire Freddy series!
Review: Some big spoilers ahead.Read carefully!

If you ask me,this is the best of the whole series.I liked the NOES series, but I wasn't really a big fan.The first was only OK,the second a little better,3 pretty cool,4 not bad,5 OK,6 entertaining, but weak.I was excited when I heard about NOES 7,but when I went to see it,it turned out soooo much better than I thought it would. The story is extremely imaginative and creative. Instead of mindlessly slaughtering teens on Elm Street (which got very old),Freddy terrorizes the film makers who created him and tries to get his revenge on Nancy (actually Heather Langenkamp). I absolutely fell in love with this, and if you ask me,this is by far the scariest of the series. I mean, the idea of Freddy being a real person,is just terrifying. He looks really cool in this one too and looks soooo much better than in the first six NOES movies. His new bio-engineered claw looks awesome and makes his old glove look like a child's mitten. His new style of make-up rocks! He looks really dark and is badder than ever. The special F/X blew me away. The confrontation at the end between Freddy,Heather and Dylan in the Mayan temple is really incredible and the ending is the kind of ending Part 1 should've had.I really don't have any complaints here.Wes Craven realized what was wrong with the first six movies and improved it. Freddy's awesome new look, kick a$$ special F/X, an incredibly high scare factor and an incredible ending make this the best Freddy movie ever.Buy it now! Rated R for "gory" violence and very little profanity.

Summary: very well done
Review: This movie is very well done horror movie. Wes Craven did it again with a very good plot(not like other horror movies were it is very little or no plot with the killer for no reason at all starts killing the people who are near him/her). The movie gives you good suspense with the music and how the events that happen. It has you thinking once again about what is real and not real, plus what is defined as real could just be your dreams but what you think that is your dreams could be real. It could also give the thought that what you thought was that the impossible is possible. Which leads me to say that a person should definately see this movie.

Summary: Disappointing!
Review: Ok, Dont get me wrong this was an ok movie but it just didnt have a high enough body count. The suspense was there and so was most of the other elements of a horror movie. The idea of a movie in a movie was a brilliant idea by horror king Wes Craven. What really suprised me about this film was that Freddy wasnt even in the movie that much it concentrated more on character development, which I thought was a big no no. I mean when people go to watch a nightmare on elm street movie they pay to see freddy kill a bunch of half wit teenagers in unusually gruesome ways. Well not in this movie kiddies. In fact the unusual low body count in this film I think was 4 people. And the deaths had all been done in previous Nightmare films (ex when the baby sitter gets clawed and dragged up the wall. That same scene happened to a girl named tina in the first part) Fans of the previous Freddy movies may even find themselves falling asleep on this one. But for those who like a good scary movie without a lot of gore may like this. Rated R for very little violence.
