Review: Jessie and his family move into the Thompson house on Elm ST. Five years after the original takes place.What is so good about this movie is that it goes for being original instead of repeating the formula over and over and over like the other sequels.This time Freddy possesses Jessie's body,so he can kill people when they are awake.Freddy still has the scary,dark look like in the original elm street,where as the rest of the sequels the make up is not scary and looks like plastic.There are also some great one liners,especially during the pool scene.If you're looking for an original sequel with more thought put into it than most sequels check out A Nightmare on Elm Street part 2.

Review: Acceptable sequel to original classic, but with less developed characters and a much weaker and thin plot. Some performances are good, most notably Mark Patton, as the frightened teenage boy who thinks he is being posessed by Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund; still delightful). Kim Myers is his sweet girl-friend who tries to help him. But most of the beginning centers on Patton's home, and plays much more like a haunted house movie, but the ending is supercharged and suspensful, almost worth the whole flick. Watch with an open mind.

Review: This movie should have been a lot better. Freddy is already turning into the unscary pop icon in this movie and a decent idea for a plot is messed up by careless mistakes and blatant stupidity. This doesn't scare but instead tries to be a comedy. It ignores everything that made the original work. And just think, horror sequels get worse with every sequel.

Review: This is up there as the worst sequels in history,even coming close to movies like Predator 2,Scream 2,Speed 2 this is just as bad. First off it really has nothing to do with series and even worse defeats the purpose of using dreams since Freddy uses some gay boys body. Also No Heather Langenkamp and only two deaths that aren't even cool or creative. This movie is like Halloween 3,and FT13th A New Beginning it doesn't belong in the series. Review: I find all the nightmare in elm street sequels to be the worse horror films and also very boring...But this one isn't and i actullie respect it for it's originality and the awsome plot it had specialy when the birds fight! The nightmares on this one are truly scary unlike the other [bad]sequels! Well, if you don't want to be bored get this insted of the rest !

Review: I saw this film after the first one and thought that Freddy has abandoned his haunting way of killing and became a rather generic killing-machine.This is nowhere as good as the first one, but I prefer this over the really bad NOES 5.If you are not a completist, who wants to own all the NOES-films, buy this one and not the fifth.
