Rating: Summary: The Best of the Best Review: This is probably the best of the Nightmare seris. This was the first one I ever saw. I saw it when I was 8 at the Theaters. In my opinion you should definitely buy it. To bad it had to be followed up by such a terrible sequal (A New Nightmare).
Rating: Summary: AVOID!!!! Review: Freddy Kruger is a popular character. He earned himself a wax statue in Movie land, wax museum of stars in Clifton Hill, Canada. He also was on the walls of Screamers, Canada's best haunted house along with Jason and Micheal Myers. Along with that Spawn toys made an 18 inch figure of him. NONE of that success was because of this. This movie was horrible and here's why, 1: The kill scenes in this were stupid. I mean come on, one kid was just standing in front of a train! 2:In one sceane Freddy is playing a video game! Come on!!!!! 3:Don't you hate it when then call it Freddy's dead or Jason goes to hell? It gives away the ending!!!!!!!!( and if it's the end, then why did they make a sequel?!?!) 4:What's up with how Freddy died? I thought it was gonna be an explsion or something like that but nooooo!! 5: When relesed in theaters it said it was in 3D, with is true but how long was the 3D? 25 minutes!!!!! Friday the 13th 3 was in 3D to and it was the entire thing!!!! This is not something to go near. The next one called New Nightmare, is MUCH better and secound best(the first is the best). The box has 3-D glasses but besides that this is not worth it.
Rating: Summary: more depp Review: I saw the clip with Johnny's cameo. Very funny. The rest is not worth watching.
Rating: Summary: THIS MOVIE WAS OKAY. Review: Freddys dead is definetly better than part five. The humor in this movie is outrages and the movie had some cool scenes.I liked how they explained freddys origin and the source of his power.A nice closure to the franchise but not as good as the older sequels.
Rating: Summary: The funniest one Review: I rented this one at the video store and when I watched it I laughed my ass off. Some peaple think this was the worst one but I disagree I think the 5th one was, this was the best and funniest one.My fav part is when he was playing the video game, and when he was messing with that dude with the ear plugs, this one is worht watching, its funny and good.

Rating: Summary: The worst of the Nightmare on Elm Street series Review: This ridiculous (and that's saying something) sixth (but not final as opposed to it's title) installment in the Nightmare on Elm Street series doesn't have one good thing going for it. Sloppy direction from Rachel Talalay (Tank Girl), a poor script (even though it tries to delve more into Freddy's past), and too few (and poorly done) deaths with little or no gore. The nice cast, which includes Breckin Meyer, the late Yaphet Kotto, and inspired cameos from Roseanne, Tom Arnold, Johnny Depp, and Alice Cooper who graces the screen as Freddy's abusive father. The climatic ending was originally shot to be presented in 3-D format in theaters (if you purchase the box set of Nightmare films it includes two pairs of 3-D glasses just for this film, but none are found in the stand alone package), but there is hardly anything here worth embracing, even for long time Nightmare fans. Fortunately, original creator Wes Craven would return for the last installment, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, which breathed fresh life into the stale series.
Rating: Summary: Is Freddy Really Dead! Review: More of a comedy than horror! There is only 1 remaining elm st kid left! Freddy has kept him alive so he can bring Fred his daughter! Anyway Fred's daughter comes to Springwood and finds out that her father was Freddy! She sets out to kill him with the help of her friends! The weakest of the series but it is still worth a watch or two!!! Ok Special Effects!
Rating: Summary: Freddy's Dead...pffft, hardly! Review: The 6th installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street series, I'd have to say, was really the only real good one next to the original. The movie was more funny than scary, but it was still an excellent addition to the series, but not many other people agree with me, well, that's their opinion.Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) does not look as menacing as he did in the other Nightmare movies, but the most menacing Freddy looked I think was in Freddy vs Jason. Anyway, Freddy IS a little too goofy here, and it detracts a bit from the level of horror that this film could have had. However, there were still scary parts, and one thing that really won me over about the movie is the fact that we get to dig in to Freddy's past a little bit, and we are shown how the dream killer we all know and hate or love came to be. I won't spoil anything from there. The acting was okay. There were a few elements I wasn't sure about, like the woman in the beginning when she called our major character a [whimp]. Other than that, the acting was typical for a Nightmare film, but then again, people don't usually watch these movies for great acting, they usually just go to see the killer do his thing. I really have nothing to say about the special effects, some of them were cheap, some brilliant, that's it. I recommend Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare to any Nightmare on Elm Street fan, as it was one of the best to me.
Rating: Summary: Final Nightmare Review Review: The final "Nightmare On Elm Street" (well, sort of) has mean old Freddy Krueger chasing the final surviving teenager in his old stomping ground through the dream world as he tricks him into bringing a new group of teen victims back to Springwood. Some dismissed this final entry as being too overly funny but if you enjoyed the last couple of movies, you should be used to the standard Freddy humor. As a fan of the series, I felt this one went out on a good note unlike some of the latter entries in other horror films.
