Summary: Probably the worst horror flick I've seen.
Review: "Cujo" is such a poorly-made horror flick that isn't even really a horror film at all. It's more of a family melodrama turned bloodfest. In the first half, there's no humor or personality in the characters at all, so when the last half begins you start rooting for the dog to kill the annoying son and neurotic mother. Which brings me to the acting. This movie has got maybe the most annoying kid ever in a horror film, Tad Trenton. Even when the dog attacks don't occur, he whines like a baby. Such poor acting, huh! I was kinda waiting for Michael Myers to come knive him to death. He was THAT bad! He was not likable, humorous, or real; just a whiny baby that his mommy should have spanked HARD! I've never been so hard on a child character in a movie, but Tad in this movie deserved to get his comeuppence, which unfortunately, he didn't. When it comes to a scary movie, this one just let me down and wasn't scary at all.

Review: "Cujo" is about a rabid St Benard who turns on a woman and her son, adopted from the Steven King novel. Not much to say about the film. It's rather boring with notthing to grasp your desire for entertainment, save where the dog makes a few scary poses. The actors do little to enliven things or make sense of it. Plus the direction, story and editing is often sloppy and nonsensable. Plus, I've sworn the the blood in the gory scenes looked orange instead of red for some reason. In the end, "Cujo" is often forgettable and is more likely to put you to sleep than scare you.

Summary: Frightening movie.
Review: "Cujo" is definitely a good horror movie. Has good suspense, authentically frightening, and is a very good example of how this adaptation of King's novel has an impact on its viewers/readers.First, a woman with marital problems along with her toddler-age boy are trapped in their car for about 1 day and a night, with their -use-to-be-lovable-St. Bernard into a bloodthirsty killer. Has a predictable happy ending, but nevertheless it holds true to the story. This and other King's novels are a very good example of King's creativity of horror, like "The Shining" and "Carrie" (King's first novel.). But also, King has a different side of story-telling, like touching books ("The Shawshank Redemption"; "The Green Mile") made into very good (and award-winning) movies. This proves that he is destined to go down in movie/book history as a famous author of well-defined books of horror and dramas. Let's just hope that the movie adaptation of "Hearts In Atlantis" starring Anthony Hopkins will be equally as good as the other King adaptations. Rated R for language and graphic horror violence/gore.

Summary: You'll never look at dogs the same again.
Review: ...Featuring a rabid St. Benard who turns into a vicious killing machine who traps a wife and child in a broken down car in the middle of nowhere, Cujo takes suspense to a whole new level. Sure, the first half of the film is pretty paint by numbers stuff that features no horror and gore whasoever, but that was so you can get acquainted with the characters.... Cujo is technically an innocent victim of an evil disease, you can see that King didn't want this to be the typical "evil dog vs. caring owners" storyline... but basically ir comes down to a dog named Cujo getting bitten by a rabid bat. He then goes on a killing spree. Tad Trenton and his mom go to a farm to get their car fixed. Too bad when they get there, the people who were supposed to fix the car get killed by the dog. Then, the car breaks down, and all hell breaks loose. The problems with the movie are few, but deadlier than the vicious streak of Cujo. The movie is too boring early on, and the ending sucks a big one. Plus, the DVD features no extras whatsoever, just improved sound quality and scene selection. The visuals are the same as they were in the 80's, so dont expect anything too great. This is not a revolutionary film by any means, but Cujo delivers what King wanted it to: a tale of evil vs. good, but with shades of gray. And Cujo just looks too cool to be ignored for long. I reccommend seeing this movie without a doubt. It is one of my favorite horror movies of all time.

great elements that make a great horror film!You never know
when Cujo will suddenly appear in a frothing,mad fury.A must have for any horror film collection!

Summary: Sit Cujo, Stay Cujo, Play Dead Cujo!
Review: A grip taking, startling, suspenseful Stephen King thiller. You'll never look at your pet dog the same after you've witnessed the blood curdling Cujo. As most Stephen King movies do, it starts off a bit slow and may even be considered a bit tedious and boring. However, the end is worth the wait.
A loveable St. Benard(Cujo) is infected with the rabies disease after being bitten by a bat. Dee Wallace Stone and Johnathan Pintauro star as mother and son held captive in their broken down automobile by the torturous beast.
This movie does not need all the blood and gore of other King movies to make it affective. I say if you like Stephen King movies then, take a "BITE" out of Cujo and check it out!!!!

Summary: What is up with this cover art?
Review: Actually a fairly good Stephen King translation, I remember being genuinely frightened a few times when this played theatrically. But my fondest memory of the movie was its poster: a beautiful sun-bleached drawing of a very east-coast summer house, surrounded by a picket fence splattered with blood in the form of Cujo's name. Warner home video used this artwork when intially releasing the video over a decade ago, and now? This picture of a clownish lip-sticked overly-reddened St. Bernard and his teeth is clearly not even a shot from the movie! I have always questioned/doubted the wisdom of revisionist cover-art for video releases, but this one takes the cake as the most artless piece of junk I've ever seen.

Review: Basically about a woman and her young son trapped inside their car for days because it broke down and outside theres a killer st.bernard dog with rabies that tries to charge himself in at the car at a number of points in the movie. Overall Its defenately not the best horror at all. It did keep me waiting to see what happens next, but it wasnt good at all, poor storyline and ending.

Review: Big dog chases bunny. Bunny runs into hole. Big dog sticks nose in hole. Bat bites big dogs big nose. Horror results. CUJO is the tale of a poor St. Bernard who contracts rabies, causing him to kill and kill again. Dee Wallace Stone (The Howling, The Hills Have Eyes) is menaced, along with her son. They are trapped in their car by the huge, slobbering beast! Watch Cujo hurl himself at the car! See him covered in bloody foam and dirt! Sort of a hairy, land-locked version of JAWS. While the first 2/3 of the film are slow-going, the finale' is worth the wait! Not for the squeemish pet owner! No real Cujos were harmed during the making of this movie...
