Summary: Finally..a scary sequel that lives up to the original
Review: 20 years ago, something happened in Haddonfield, IL. Now, 20 years later,Keri Tate/Lori Strode(J.L.Curtis)is beginning to think that her psychotic brother,Michael Myers is dead, though she still gets scared on halloween. Though her son, John(Josh Hartnett)thinks differently. And then when everyone leasts expects it, except Keri, surprise!!! Only this time he's not after just Lori, but John too. Also starring in this film are:Michelle Williams,Jodi Lynn O'Keefe,Adam Arkin,LL Cool J, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jimmy. To conclude this review, I have to say that Halloween:H20 has got to be one of the best horror movies I have ever seen. And that is a lot of horror movies.

Summary: The Franchise Closes On A High Note
Review: Being a Horror Movie Fan of the 3 most popular franchises,Elm Street, Friday The 13th and Halloween, this was the best last sequel than the other two have done. What makes it so good was having Jamie Lee cast again and not to mention having her mom Janet Leigh (Psycho) also cast in it with her. The two Scream Queens in one film together. But having Steve Miner and Kevin Wiliamson putting this baby together is enough to make the Horror movie fans of this genre want to see it regardless. Although,as others have stated, it could have been longer, the creepiness does work its way up to a great "Showdown" that Halloween fans have been wanting. Williamson is a genius with the red herrings throughout and the homages to Psycho are so entertaining. Example: Janet leigh tells Jamie Lee that the girls shower drains are clogged, or Janet getting into a Ford Fairlane, the same one she drove to the Bates Motel in Psycho. I say you will be entertained and you will jump. The connections to past horror films within this one is intriguing enough for a fan to want to buy this one. Steve Miner(Friday The 13th),Kevin Williamson(Scream 1,2 and 3),Janet Leigh(Psycho) and Jamie Lee Curtis(Halloween 1 and 2, Prom Night). So I just say rent it and then buy it. No need to tell you what happens because the film is never shoddy or slow. Also for those who say that sequels 4-6 are not mentioned of any sort. Watch it again and listen to what Michelle Williams says in class when she is daydreaming and glances out the classroom window and Micheal is looking at her through a gate. She sums it all up in a short sentence on the topic the class is talking about which I believe is about Frankenstein.

Summary: Good but could have been better.
Review: I said that because it wasn't that gory and the wait between the beginning and the end was too long. Another was that they never mentioned Halloween 4-6. They could of at least acknowledged it when they searched Marion's house by saying "Call haddonfield, warn them that Micheal could be coming. Rated R for violence/terror and language.

Summary: Josh Hartnett is sohot!
Review: the only good part of his movie was Jsh Hartnett. He's a hottie. Don't waste your money.

Summary: This is the movie parts 4-6 wanted to be but weren't.
Review: H20, comes close to erasing the obvious "make sequels for money" attitude that parts 4-6 had. The whole cult plot, and mind controlling of his niece, turned Michael into something other than what Carpenter and Hill started with the first movie. Here, we get to see Laurie Strode, 20yrs separated from "The night he came back home". I would have prefered someone other than Williamson doing the script, and would have liked to have seen Carpenter take the helm as director again, but it made parts 4-6 look like b-rated gore fests. Its obvious that the makers of H20 wanted nothing to do with parts 4-6 since there is no reference to any of the obsurdities brought into the story with parts 4-6. The mask still does not come close to being as effective as the original modified Shatner mask from parts 1 and 2. Also, "the shape" look and movement is still not close to Nick Castle's version (Dick Warlock came the closest of anyone in Halloween 2). Looking forward to the video release to the public in October.

Summary: Different from the original, but still very effective.
Review: Ever since John Carpenter's ground-breaking genre work Halloween was released in 1978, many filmmaker's have tried to capture it's feel and atmosphere. Despite Carpenter's presense on Halloween 2 (as producer and co-writer), the film was still too thin and lacked any atmosphere at all. We would still have to sit through four more films before seeing Halloween get the sequel it deserved. Steve Miner's beautifully photographed film lacks any Carpenter-esque nuances but still packs enough scares and powerful performances to have it rate right up there with the original. Jamie Lee Curtis and Josh Hartnett are both very good in their underwritten roles and the unexpected ending finally brings some sense of closure to what is easily the best horror franchise out there. I highly recommend this film.

Summary: Good but some screw ups
Review: Halloween H20 is a good film but with quite a few mistakes. First off where were the scars on Michaels hand in 4-6 he had scars on his hand from the 2 halloween and michael clearly had no scars on his hand in h20. Second, the movie didnt focus on 4-6 which got me a little upset it was like he never exsisted since 78-98. Third, I think that it was way to short nothing really happened just when it got good it ended. Fourth, I really dont like how it focused on Laurie more than Michael. But anyway I think the movie was great except some stupid mistakes. I think this is the tied in 1st with the original, but it would have passed the original if it was longer!!!!

Summary: All the hype for absolutely nothing
Review: Hell it sucked! Kevin Williamson totally destroyed the Halloween franchise. Ask any die hard Halloween fans like myself, they'll tell you. It SUCKED! When I learned that Jamie Lee Curtis was back, I was so excited cuz I was expecting something like the original Halloween. It sucked so much, I almost ask for a refund when I exited the movie theater.

Summary: One of the best halloweens since the original.
Review: Very on-the-edge-of-your-seat movie with plenty of thrills and chills. A very good date movie where your girl grabes onto your arm. BUT, I only gave it four stars because with this movie they semmingly tossed a side the other Halloween sequels. They could have found a way to intermingle them all together. I say they should make an eighth movie that explaines what happened between Halloween 6 and H20. Oh, yeah my friend Vikki thought it ruled too.

Summary: the best halloween so-far!
Review: H20 IS THE BEST HALLOWEEN MOVIE SO FAR BECAUSE THE STORY IS WRITTEN CLEVERLY ,JAMIE LEE IS BACK, AND THE TEEN CAST IS TO DIE FOR!IN EVEN HAD A FEW OF THE IN-LINE JOKES THATS BECOME A TRADITION IN SCREAM1-2(SCREAM 3 DEC 10TH 1999)I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVER HORROR FAN BECAUSE IT IS DA BOMB MOVIE. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IS IS TOO SHORT(81 MIN).
