Summary: Forget H2K, the boogeyman is dead!
Review: H20 is as good (if not better IMHO) than the original. Laurie is no longer the scared teen we grew to love, she's got the gut's to put an end to a 20-year-old terror.

IMHO, the only "flaw" in the movie was that Michael's mask should have been the one used in H6.

Summary: HUH?!
Review: I just couldn't believe it. Halloween 6 was all about him trying to get a baby, and now, he changes his mind and goes out for her sister? what is that? By far one of the worst movies I've ever seen, this movie doesn't even deserve a rental.

Summary: Missing features and a non anamorphic transfer!
Review: Buena Vista has once again supplied a horrendous package. This movie does NOT contain a commentary track as noted on the box, nor is there a DTS track. If you absolutly have to have the movie, the transfer is not bad for a non-anamorphic. but the misleading advertising (from BV, not amazon's fault),and the cost are serious things you want to consider

Summary: OK movie, BAD DVD PRESENTATION
Review: What is Disney thinking? The disc DOES NOT contain the audio commentary by Jamie Lee Curtis and Steve Miner promised on the packaging, DOES NOT contain a DTS soundtrack as promised by the packaging, DOES NOT contain enhanced menus as promised by the packaging, and the movie itself does not look that great on DVD. First, unlike the first and second films in the series, this one was NOT shot in Panavision, but shot square and then matted to a 2:35 to 1 ration in theatres and on this DVD to acheive a widescreen look. That is why the full screen VHS tape and cable TV versions look better. They ARE NOT panned and scanned and show MORE picture, and the film looks better square. I hope the next film in the series (H2K) will return to a true Panavsion format instead of cheating. As for the film itself, it is OK, but it was inexcusable to ignore 3 sequels completely. Maybe they weren't good, but they should have not contradicted anything. It shows the filmamakers complete contempt for YOU, THE AUDIENCE. And they didn't even ignore things correctly! If 4-6 never happened, wouldn't that mean Loomis died in the explosion? Then why do they talk about him having just died "a few years back?" My God, a little creative screenwriting and they could have created a story which did not focus on the absurbitites of the previous sequels and yet did not contradict them either. If I were writing part 8, I would ignore this one and pick up after #6 left off just to show all of you people how I could get you to accept anything.....AVOID THIS DVD AT ALL COSTS

Summary: This is the movie you have to see
Review: I watched this movie yesterday and I must say that I couldn't sleep very well last night. This is scary movie! It's a lot of more scarier than Scream, Scream 2, I Know What You Did Last Summer etc. In this movie, every second is so scary. All the time something happens... Murders, weird things, nightmares... I think that this isn't a teenage horror movie, because it's so scary. The greatest in directing is that the guy who's watching this have to afraid of something all the time. This is till great movie, and I bet you like this! If you are 12-30 years old...

Summary: If HALLOWEEN is the king of scare, H2O is surely the queen!!
Review: I think this movie had alot to live up to. It did it wonderfully. It may not be as structured as the sequels before it, but it's a nice change of pace. It delivers scare after scare, just enough to keep your heart pumping! I think the the ending might have been a little abrupt though. Overall, this is a great horror film! This is one you don't want to miss.

Summary: A Film that is Almost Good as the Origin
Review: The film is awesome, wonderful story, acting, writing. Jaime Lee Curtis is better than ever as Laurie Strode. I also like L. L. Cool J and the rest of the cast. The only problem that I have with the dvd itself, is they say it has a audio commenatary, by Jaime Lee Curtis and Steve Miner, yet when I put the dvd disc into my player, there is nothing to click on about audio commentary. For the price that I paid for the dvd, it should have what it says on the package. Disney is deceiving people. The Halloween trivia game is fun and I also like the music video and the behind the scenes featurette. The movie looks wonderful in widescreen format.

Summary: the best halloween since the first one
Review: Halloween H20 is the best made film on the halloween series. It is the best written, the best shot, and has the best acting. It would have been the best film in the series had the writing been a little better and John Carpenter been involved somehow (creative consultant sounds right). It is second only to the first Halloween, and once more places Michael Myers on the top of the heap of movie slashers.

Summary: He Is Back!
Review: Twenty years later and the terror has not stopped. We find out that Laurie Strode is alive and well but is still terrorized with thoughts of her older brother. We see a lot of new characters in this movie and the only annoying one is that kid with the huge nose who keeps talking about getting laid. Michael Myers is not the same in this movie. Either it is the actor, or the fact that Michael is now in his forties. Jamie Lee Curtis is still great as Laurie Strode although that scream that she lets out at the beginning of the movie was a little overdone. We see some good humour in this movie as we see Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee Curtis' real life mother, in a good role. We also see LL Cool J in a good role as a security guard. Josh Harnett makes his debut as Laurie Strode's rebellious son. Even though he has a best friend with a huge nose, his girlfriend is pretty nice. So is the girlfriend of the best friend with the huge nose. Sorry, I got a little off topic there. Anyway, Halloween H20 is a great movie. It is more suspenseful this time. When you think Michael is going to strike, he does not. Either Michael is old and tired or we have a copycat killer. You have to wonder now that Halloween 8 sounds like it is in the works.

Summary: The Best since the original!
Review: A Total Classic. Just as good as the original. Jamie Lee Curtis is back and better than ever. A must see.
