Summary: Highly underrated classic!
Review: I was surprised when this movie came out last year and did as poorly at the box office as it did. It should have been a blockbuster! It has all the great things in it needed to make it a classic, great acting, the f/x are superb and the story, even though Dracula has been done to Un-Death is brilliant. Craven and his people have added a few new twists and turns that I thought were excellent. Not the least of which is a brand new take on Dracula's true identity, not to even mention why he hates Holy artifacts so much. For those of you who missed this on the big screen, you missed a great one, the f/x are awesome and meant to be enjoyed in the theater. My wife and I saw it 3 times and it got better each time. It is on video and dvd now,of course and it plays well on the small screen too(so by all means see it!) In closing, to those of you out there that appreciate the classics, Drac's back!! And better than ever!

Summary: A very good B-Movie
Review: I enjoyed watching this film, it was'nt really scary but I liked the plot twist at the end regarding Dracula's origins. The story is not a re-telling of the Dracula myth but a final chapter to the the tale. It is well worth a look.

Summary: Disappointing to a big vampire fan..
Review: Being a rather big fan of "Bram Stoker's Dracula," "Interview with the Vampire," and others of the like, I naturally had to give in to curiousity and check out this film. With Wes's name on it, I figured it would have to at least some good qualities. And boy was I ever disappointed. All this movie is is just a new, "hipper" version of Dracula for the pre-teen generation that know nothing about the REAL lineage of Vlad Dracul (to let you know, I'm 16.) Emphasizing mainly on gore and jump/scare effects [which for me failed miserably], I grew rather bored quickly and ended up disgusted when they tried to make Dracula look biblical... and it fell flat on its face anyways.
The reason I gave this two stars instead of one (which it really deserved,) is because it's an ideal movie for the teen-horror flick addicts of today. This simply isn't horror in any sense nor is it even a decent vampire film. If you want a decent vampire film, rent "Interview with the Vampire" or "Bram Stoker's Dracula."

Summary: A good and scary movie.
Review: This movie is very scary. It scared me! The DVD has tons of features. The picture and sound quality are good. Buy it.
You will be very pleased.

Summary: Stupid adaptation
Review: One of the worst adaptations of Dracula since the 1970's. They try to make Dracula seem very Biblical, and it just falls flat. I love the vampire myth, but this movie does not do it justice. Buy/rent Interview with a Vampire or Bram Stoker's Dracula. They are much better.

Summary: Gerard Butler Makes This Movie!
Review: When I first saw this movie, I figured it would follow the lines of Wes Carven's larger movies like Scream. No real plot, no real characters, just the idea to scare you. I was wrong. Although this isn't an award winning film, it's plot is genuinely intresting and makes a real "person" of Dracula. Gerard Butler grabs your attention from the beginning and holds it untill the end. Not only with his extreme good looks, but with his silent but assured way of portraying Dracula. You just can't wait to see what he'll do or say next. Gerard Butler is definatly what makes this movie worth watching.

Summary: Gerard Butler Rocks!
Review: I liked this movie very much. It didn't scare me as much as it thrilled me... although I wouldn't have minded being scared if Gerard Butler is in the picture... very cute.

You know how they say Dracula has a thrall? Gerard Butler has a thrall. You can't take your eyes off him, and you just want to see what happens next. One person after me in the first 20 reviews gave it away... party pooper.

Although I couldn't imagine Mr. Butler in any other part but the Dark Vampire himself, I'm thinking about making a part for him in one of my stories (I cast them firsthand)... considering. I have to see a lot of photos of him and then decide because my original man up for the lead role is not looking as right for the part as he used to be. I'll think about it.

If you like vampire movies, this should make you very happy.

Summary: I enjoyed this one ...
Review: I have always been a big fan of Vampire movies since I was a kid. When I was able to get this video, I absolutely loved it. The interesting thing is that it did not follow the standard vammpire lore, but instead had a twist that tied it to a religious perspective. The actor that played Dracula did a great job, as did the supporting cast. I was totally impressed with everything about this movie.

Summary: The Best Looking Prince of Darkness Ever!

Summary: The Perfect Twist
Review: Most of this movie is your typical monster/horror stuff. But at times, it does develop its plot. A group of thieves steal a silver coffin they believe is filled with treasure. They are in for a big surprise. In the coffin is the ancient evil we know as Dracula. And he is out for revenge. Across the world is a young woman with a telepathic link to the monster. We find out why soon enough. So how does this movie get a five-star rating? There is a major twist that changes everything we ever knew about the now famous vampire. It will tick people off, but they will be thinking for a long time. That is what I like.
