Review: I seen this a dozens of times. -I've still like it today.
Never tired of this second sequel. -You've had your heart
sat out on the first one. -So did I. -I enjoyed the first
one better then this one. -But this sequel sure does add up
much better then the original. John Carpenter. -Has risen him self up two the hard core
horror. -This time. -As he is writting. -He explaining the
real reason for mikes rampage. -As Michael is lose once
again. -"I shot him six times..!" -Explains. -Loomis.
Played by the; -late; -Pleasence. -Ho has a much dark
memerable role. -So does he. -Ho gives a F**ck. -What
the other critics think of this final sequel. -This is
one of the best and it bakes so well threw out the entire; -feature. -The movie begins with; -firing of
six shots of Michael. -And the doctor well say's. -He
have shot him six times. -Then he escapes. -As usual.
En route two the lovable. -Likable. -Jamie Lee Curtis.
Ho plays a scared virgin this time around. -She is real
and very stupid. -Don't even two understand how she
reacts two when the killings are happening. Jamie is not stupid at the end. -But she knows her
high heels. -She is very clever at the end. -She is
tough and sassy during the running scenes. -Michael
one by one. -Killing each person in his way at the
hospital. -Where it becomes a soap opera like. Which I've liked about the film. -I love it when we
get a scene involving a nudity scene where the nurse
is plunged by Michael as she falls two her death in a
wurry hot tub. -Gross scene. -Very disturbing two
watch. -The finaly looks like a letdown but a
memerable one. -It knew where it was heading. I love the angles in side the hospitals with those
cameras. -As we've watch Michael roaming around the
hospital in each of the town. -But; -we get the best
the scares and the jumps. -The Nudity fest..! Everything.! -What we want..! So this is the scare fest slasher for are time.

Summary: A good flick
Review: This one was much better than most of the others I've seen check out my listmania list for a overview of all of them. This one was good because Jamie and Donald were in it. Good acting helps a movie a lot. The plot was ok but it could have been better. This one started off as a cliffhanger from the last one which they do in this series a lot. This one is a must see for Halloween fans but people who don't like horror movies should bother with this one or any other horror movies.

Summary: Part 2 is currently the second best of the series
Review: Most people I know seem to like this movie as the best sequel of the series. However some people, say it's dissapointing because it's the first movie in the series that went against the classic original in 1978. I think the bottom line with Halloween 2 is that it follows the story from nicely from part 1 and is a fun watch. While the classic part one which, might even be the best hoor movie ever, manages to be scary with almost no blood and even in a daytime setting, Halloween 2 doest not provide this. While this movie is not a total bloodfest there are a few unneccesary gory scenes. I never understood why Michael Myers was also shown so much in this movie getting rid of some suspense. It's clearly a liitle flawed but as the first sequel of the series I always felt there was not many other ways to make part 2 better.

Review: The 1981 sequel to John Carpenter's classic film "Halloween",Halloween II proves that "he" hasn't given up in his hunt for Laurie Strode(Jamie Lee Curtis).The film continues the story of the original film where Laurie Strode is taken to the hospital after a violent attack by a crazed psycopath(later revealed to be Michael Myers.)who was shot 6 times by Dr. Sam Loomis,the boy's mental doctor.Soon Laurie is stalked through the hospital by Michael Myers.I like the film because after seeing the cliffhanger ending of the original,I had to see it.And so do you if you feel that way.More of a slasher than the first,but still great.If you want the true story,I recommend you skip all the rest except for Halloween H2o,since they just enlongate everything.Definetly a classic film,this should be loved.Warning to parents:This film contains some graphic violence(it's rated R).Also,the word "Samhain" is used a few times and may offend religous people.With that said,have a great night.And beware...he may be in the shadows right now,watching you......

Review: Respectable sequel to the smash hit "Halloween," has Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence and a few others reprising their previous roles. HALLOWEEN 2 is sometimes very scary and frightening, but never as suspenseful as the first (almost however). One of the reasons it isn't as suspenseful is because there is quite a bit of explicit violence displayed on-screen in this motion picture. One of the scenes that shows this is much more graphic than the original is the sequence where Michael forces the nurse's face into the jacuzzi tub in the hospital. Otherwise, this sequel is very good and as good as the original. The musical numbers are from the original score by John Carptener, thus are effective and eerie. However, they are not done by Carptener himself - Alan Howarth does the score for this film and it is just as good as the original's. Debra Hill also returns with Carpenter to write the script for this sequel, and the script is very good and lives up to high expectations of a sequel. It's full of frightening scares and tense moments. Basically, it takes place the same night the original ended, and Laurie is admitted into the hospital. Michael follows her there and begins stalking the empty corridors of the hospital. Dr. Loomis discovers a secret about Michael and Laurie which I will not spoil if you haven't already seen this film. Scary and very close to being as good as the original...just a little more graphically violent, which spoils it a bit.

Review: There was a Halloween marathon playing on T.V and they played the 1st one, after it was over they said the 2nd was playing Im like im gonna watch it.After the film was over I was pleased, but I noticed something, Michael Myers mask was different, it was kinda of messy.I liked the movie, kinda of cheesy parts to it, 1st one was better, but this one was still good.

Review: I first saw "Halloween II," I believe when I was ten or eleven years old, and it was the first in the series I had seen. Having that experience at a young age like that and being blown away by it, this movie adds on an extra link that I hold to so very dearly.
By the time this movie was made, many imitators of "Halloween" had already come out, such as "Prom Night" and "Terror Train," both starring Jamie Lee Curtis. Plus the ever-popular, "Friday the 13th," graced the big screen, leading into the longest running horror series in history. This Halloween sequel is maligned by some critics because of the period of time it came out with the other "slasher" films, but that's something I felt was unnecessary to add into the effect, since, really, what more could you ask for with this film?
Made three years after the first movie, "Halloween II" reunites the main characters of Donald Pleasance and Jamie Lee Curtis, selling out again their great roles, although maybe a little bit less with Curtis, who's character is comatose most of the film. More cast members come back, as well as most of the crew, including John Carpenter and Debra Hill to write the screenplay.
Newcomer, Rick Rosenthal, came in to direct, and very impressively, remaining truthful to the original film. In fact, this film is almost so like the original, it's like watching the same movie, just seeing that happened after the ending. But wait? Isn't that what I'm supposed to feel with sequels? I guess so. That just goes to show you how many crappy sequels they got out there. Put simply, "Halloween II" delivers.
I guess the main reason of why this is such a good sequel is because it continues off on the same night the original film left off us on, and the same scene, something which hadn't been used since 1934's "The Bride of Frankenstein." We return to the town of Haddonfield, returning characters, returning premise, and most of a returning movie crew making the sequel. The same feel of the first film is there. Perfect and ingenious are two words that come to mind.
Jamie Lee Curtis's character, Laurie Strode, is taken to the hospital to get treatment for the wounds she received in the first film. Soon enough, the still-alive masked murderer, Michael Myers finds out that she's there, leading to a brutal bloodbath involving the doctors, nurses, and paramedics at the hospital. We get some interesting kill scenes, such as an oxygen-filled needle to the temple, and being scalded alive in a hot tub. Meanwhile, Donald Pleasance is at it yet again as Dr. Loomis, hunting down Michael Myers, sure he's alive, even after a cool action scene in which a Myers look-alike is hit by a police car into a van and burned alive. The police, including the returning Charles Cyphers, as Sheriff Leigh Bracket, partially believe him, but much more than the cynical feelings in the first film. And of course, all this leads up to another great climax and an exploding finish, with some interesting twists. As far as movie elements for this film go, we get some pretty good and tense scares, probably not as good as the original, but definitely frightening. The music returns, even adding in the co-composer, Alan Howarth. The suspense is toned down a little bit, but is replaced by action and excitement, something a bigger budget has an advantage of. The atmosphere is still there though, especially in the creepy scenes of the hospital and its eerie, labyrinth like hallways.
One thing I loved that this movie introduced was an explanation about the history of Halloween, which Dr. Loomis said in a once again great speech: "...the druid priests held fire rituals. Prisoners of war, criminals, the insane, were burned alive in baskets. By observing the way they died, the druids believed they could see omens of the future." So overall, not as good as the first, but only by a very little bit. Hell, even watch them together back-to-back and it will feel like one film. You'll have yourselves a fun and frightening Halloween night in front of you.

Review: This movie is very cool. Unlike most sequels, this one takes place right were the first one left off. It's really spooky
and one of the best slasher films ever made.The Micheal Myers mask improvedfrom the previous movie.
The movie itself takes place in a hospital were Micheal Myers goes after his sister. There is a very exciting scene that takes place in the hospital bath. This one was the best of the series, it is worth your time and money.

Review: When Halloween came out in theaters, it became one of the highest-grossing films ever. It started a trend of so-called "slasher" films that dominated the film industry for most of the '80s. With everyone and their second cousin making a slasher for 5 cents and making back fifty million dollars, it was only a matter of time before they brought Michael Myers back. Unfortunately, Halloween II isn't very good. It begins with the end of the first movie, with Doctor Loomis shooting Michael seven times (ironically, later in the movie he runs around yelling "I shot him six times!" over and over - did this guy drop out of kindergarten or what?) and Michael escaping. In fact, one of the only highlights of the film is Loomis' one liners. "He's not a man - he's evil!" After this recounting, the film shifts seamlessly into a continuation of the night He came home. The movie is slasher by-the-numbers - a couple of teens, lots of gore, and people doing incredibly stupid things. There's no suspense anymore, and Michael isn't menacing in the least. Rumor has it that director Rick Rosenthal wanted to keep imitate the first film by keeping the murders and Michael in the dark, but John Carpenter thought that the film would be deemed too tame by the slasher audience and reshot the scenes with gore. One might get an impression from this review that I dislike slasher films. This isn't true - I like good slasher movies, such as Friday the 13th. I don't dislike Halloween II because it's a slasher movie - I dislike it because it just isn't a very good slasher movie.
