Review: Chiild's Play is a good horror movie with great special effects and some genuinely scary moments. Everyone in the cast is excellent. Gore is minimal and there is no sex or nudity, making this a tasteful horror film. The DVD only has a trailer, so hopefully there will be a special edition. The musical score will send shivers down your spine.

Summary: A horror classic!
Review: This 1988 suprise hit became an instant horror classic with horror fans and audiences alike, it's sort of a semi-satire of the "Cabbage Patch Kids" craze back in the 80's. It tells the story of a satanic murderer who sends his soul into a Doll then is purchased by a widowed woman whom is looking for a birthday gift for her son, then soon mysterious deaths have been happening and the boy thinks it's the doll then suddenly the truth is out.A thrilling, horrifying and interesting horror thriller which is in my opinion the greatest killer toy flick ever made, it spawned numerous sequels and rip-offs but in my opinion, this will always be a classic of the genre. Similar movies recommended: Devil Doll, Roland Emmerich's Making Contact, Lucio Fulci's The Beyond, A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Exorcist, The Omen, Wolf, Suspiria, Scream, Sleepaway Camp, and The Puppet Master.

Summary: Chucky Is The *BEST*
Review: I love horror movies. Child's Play is one of the best movie series ever made. My first DVD I bought is Child's Play. I first bought my DVD player because I couldn't find Child's Play on VHS in the stores to buy, but I could find it on DVD. I even have my own Chucky doll (the doll came from a claw machine). Chucky rocks!! I think that Brad Dourif did a fantastic job at playing the role of Charles Lee Ray/Chucky. My two favroite Chucky movies are Child's Play 2 and The Bride Of Chucky. I can't wait until the movies come out on DVD next month, which I plan on buying. I just bought the Child's Play 3 DVD from eBay, which is NOT available on DVD in North America. The DVD is a PAL DVD, NOT all DVD players in the USA are PAL compatible. I know that the Apex company makes a NTSC/PAL DVD player which is the player that I have. So if you plan on buying Child's Play 3 on DVD you will have to buy it from either the United Kingdom, Austraila or Scotland.

Review: Good morning Chicago! The days till Christmas are almost here! This jolly Chritsmas get your child the best gift ever! A good guy doll! He moves! He walks! He talks! He says whole sentences! WOW! Hard working mother(played by the talinted Catherine Hicks) listens to this T.V. offer, and so dose her son Andy. She dose not have the cash to buy her son a good guy doll at full price, so buys a used one for half off from a some homeless dude. Little dose she know that the cute little dolly has been possessed by the soul of killer who's into voodoo. Now he wants to exchange souls with the boy, Andy using a certain ritual to do it. When murders start happening all of the sudden a cop helps Hicks find out whats going on. I have been a huge fan of horror movies since I was a little boy, and this movie was the one that got me into horror movies in the first place. If your a horror fan, but have seen this yet, get it now! If your worried about this movie being any good or not. Watch it as soon as you can and clear all dought out of your mind.

Review: I got this flick from Blockbuster video and I have to admit this movie is suprisingly good. I know a doll with a serial killer's soul is scary but throw in a knife and you got one of the smallest serial killers in movie history!! This doll is one mean S.O.B. and not to be taken lightly. I wish there was gore but only when the doll got killed. Damn! If I compared this to other movies, this movie is the most suprising I have ever seen to date. if you want a good horror flick with a bit of a tickle, this movie is for you, people.

Summary: Child's Play Is Strange!
Review: This movie is weird, but good for a horror movie. If you see it, you won't believe that Andy's mom doesn't know what he's talking about. {I DON'T!} .....But soon.....she does!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder the kid wasn't lying!! Anyway, I have this movie on DVD. I also have Child's Play 2 on VHS. I'm looking forward to seeing Child's Play 3 and 4. But soon I'm probably going to order Bride Of Chucky. I saw that on the sci-fi channel. That's a good "Chucky" movie too!! So, if you wanted strange, you've got it!!!!

Summary: Wanna Play?
Review: If you happen to hesitant form watching this because you've seen part 2, 3, or 4 first, and thought it was campy, and corny. Then I feel bad for you. The first Child's Play is first rate. It's basicly about a killer who uses voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll that happens to be really big on the market. He dose it before he dies so he can take revange on his on killers.
The story is more complete then the others in the seires.
Even though the final climax is overdone you don't really want the sinister fun to stop.

The story is dark and tenss it's not that gory like pepole say it is but it will keep you on edge of seet go buy this now !!!!!

Review: Easily the best one,it is the most original,and has more than enough jolts of horror when you're not expecting them.Also,it is the 1st film,which is mostly,in any series,the best.There is nothing bad about this movie,except the lack of SF.
