Summary: Child's Play
Review: These movies are okay I guess, although I prefered them when I was 12. I think the movie is kind of funny, They were never scarry to me, I dont know, just something about dolls infront of a camera and crew just doesnt send chills up my spine...

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: this movie is clever and frightening
Review: The scariest film with a doll is this 1988 thriller about a serial killer who transfered his soul in a doll called Chucky and when a boy discovers Chucky's a monster he starts bloody murders of mayhem to anyone mean to him.Director Tom Holland directs a cool horror film since his 1985 film Fright Night, this film has enough suspense and violence to scare viewers and at times throws comedic overtones in Chucky's wisecracks.

Summary: Fantastic
Review: I first watched this film when i was quite young, and then itwas deleted in the UK, but i managed to get a copy of the video on ebay.
I'm not gonna waste time quoting what other people have already described the film as being, but i just wanted to say how worth while it is! I love the film and when it was deleted over here i thought i'd never get to see it again!
All 3 sequals r good, but nuthin can beat this original...full of suspense and tense moments!
Its well worth the buy!

Summary: You'll Wish It Was Only Make-Believe
Review: This is one of my favourite horror films for life. Tom Holland did a superb job of creating this killer doll Charles Lee Ray affecionatly known as Chucky. This 1988 film is a classic, and should be watched over and over and over again as I have and will continue to do so. Performances by Chris Sarandon, Catherine Hicks, Brad Dourif and Alex Vincent are excellent. This is one of those movies where you know you've stumbbled onto something good. For anyone that looking for a film that is just damn brilliant and exciting and loves killer dolls then this is for you. The DVD could of been presented in a widescreen formatte, but it's a good print.
I absolutly LOVE and ADORE Chris Sarandon and this is one of his best.

Summary: 4 stars for the movie, 0 stars for the DVD - NO WIDESCREEN!!
Review: Why did the sequels to this get better treatment than this original classic!? Reminds me of the Vacation sequels. Release this DVD in widescreen format or you'll get no money from me.

Summary: One of my favorite films
Review: Child's Play has always been one of my favorite horror films and is one I can watch again and again. It's scary, but also has some humor.

I do wish however that the DVD version was available in widescreen format. I believe there are some scenes that have lost something by being converted to fullscreen.

Summary: Bomb......
Review: This was the stupidest, most pathetic excuse for a horor movie. This movie should be in the Comedy section if any. All I have to say is, I cant believe I watched all of the movies in the Childs Play series, although I do have to say that Bride of Chuck did make me laugh...alot, maybe it was just because it was beyond stupid. Anyway, I do not recoment this movie, unless you are in the mood for a comedy.

Summary: THIS WASN'T SCARY!!!
Review: This wasn't scary at all! I'm very upset that I wasted a perfectly good rental on this lousy excuse for a film. DON'T SEE THIS MOVIE! It's not even funny, it's just plain stupid! Chucky stinks, if you want TRUE HORROR and not junk, check out Psycho, Halloween, or The Exorcist, You'll like those better I assure you.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Well made horror flick with a hokey premise.
Review: When the notorious serial killer by the name of Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) is gun-down by a police detective (Chris Sarandon) in part of bad streets of Chicago. But Charles actually transfer his soul, while he was dying to a good-guy doll by using a voodoo spell. When a little boy (Andy Vincent) wants a good-guy doll for his birthday and his hard-working mother (Catherine Hicks) actually gets him his wish. But since the little boy knows that the doll is alive and when trouble and deaths are starting to appear. No one wants to believe the boy but Charles needs the Boy body, so, he could transfer again in a human body.

Directed by Tom Holland (Fright Night, The Langoliers, Thinner) made a clever entertaining thriller with a sharp sense of Humor.
With clever puppeteer work and design by Kevin Yahger, this also has nice cinematography by Bill Bulter (Jaws, Anaconda, Frailty) and good script by Holland, John Lafia (Child's Play 2, Man's Best Friend) and Don Mancini (Who actually wrote the Child's Play:a.k.a-Chucky Series). This was a Box Office Hit in the Fall of 1988. It's worth seeing for those, who want different in a Horror Movie. Grade:B+.

Summary: Chucky is a classic
Review: This is one of my favorite movies. The Chucky doll is unforgetable and the way he just is is so cool. I reccomend this movie to everyone who likes a fun movie with a lot of really cool stuff in it. On eof my favorite parts is the human vs. doll thing at the end. But just when you thing that Chucky's reign of terror is over, there are plenty of sequels to amuse yourself in.
