Summary: The best of the series
Review: From its first icepick to the head to the last sounds of shattering glass, this movie is just pure enjoyment. It still captured some of the terror and zeitgeist, before the later films in the series had completely mined them out. And the deaths are creative without being too over the top; the machete in the hammock scene alone is worth the price of the movie.

Summary: Part 2 is a classic
Review: The atmoshpere of this movie is great. The setting, the music, and the premise is awsome. The Friday the 13th movies have set the standard for chase scenes. Part 2 has one of the best. This is a fun movie, but if you don't like the genre, watch something else

Summary: These kids smoke better dope than I do
Review: Remember that line ? For this sequel, Jason gets revenge on Alice for decapitating his mother, then continues his rampage throughout Crystal Lake. After all, who else is going to prevent those scantily clad semi-nude teenagers from drinking and drugging ? Without Jason, they might actually take much needed acting lessons!

Filled with unintentional humor, this sequel rates a perfect 10 on the Camp scale (Get it?). For example, after Jason impales one victim w/ a screwdriver, he has enough sense to remove a pot of boiling tea from the stove top so it won't overheat. How convenient. Lets not forget the scene when the poor token handicapped guy goes *missing*, the first room his girlfriend searches is UPSTAIRS and just happens to be where Jason was waiting. (read: logic and long flights of stairs have no bearing on the poor girl. I guess she really didn't have a clue). By the way, is that really a pillow case ??? Poor Jason, I guess with the low budget they couldn't spring for a hockey mask just quite yet. Martha Stewart would indeed be proud. She would make a GREAT Mrs. Vorhees!

Summary: Great for a sequel!
Review: This was both scary and entertaining. It leaves you on the edge of your seat. Although at times it is typical of many horror movies, eg., the car won't start when she's trying to get away from the bad guy, overall, it's very good. I enjoyed it.

Summary: Is there anything good about this movie?
Review: Yes...it let's you know how bad movies really can get. The sad thing is that is not exactly true. Because there were other sequels of this series that were worse. Despite a teriffic musical score, this movie should not have been made. The characters of this pathetic sequel, you can not even care about, one iota. By the way, Wes Craven had nothing to do with any of the friday the 13th's. GRADE: D-

Summary: Better than most
Review: The only 'Friday' sequel worth sitting through. Thanks to Amy Steel's great heroine and a pre-hockey mask Jason, the suspense has a good chance of building properly. The only thing really bogging it down is-you guessed it-brainless young campers too busy gettin' busy to worry about a vengeful psycho stalking the grounds.

Summary: Great Film!
Review: Wes Craven at his best! A classic thriler that will keep you guessing all the time, and what a surprise ending!

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not as good as the first.
Review: The story was good, but the acting was something to be desired. The only one who acted good enough was Jason.
