Summary: Haven't You People Ever Heard of Pizza?
Review: Leatherface has survived. In the same manner as his horror movie brethren, you just can't get rid of the guy in the dead skin mask. In this case, two young people attempt to drive from California to Miami. I say attempt, because when you drive through Texas, you don't stand a good chance of making it. Maybe they should use Map Quest next time. A nice twist, as Leatherface meets up with a new family that benefits from his unique skills with a chainsaw. Totally creepy family, and the number of kills is surprising since this film is so entertaining for such a low number of kills. If you loved the first two, check out the third.

Summary: The best Uncut TCM sequel ever!!
Review: I recently got the dvd edition of this movie on the day it came out and I have to say that I couldn't be more happier than a chainsaw-weilding madman chasing after his human dinner. There are alot of things that this special edition of "Leatherface" has and I think every fan will agree that this dvd has it all from the R-rated to the Unrated version of the film to the lost cut scenes that's been talked about all over the internet to the making of the film to the grand finale that is the alternate ending. When I saw these features, I was shocked and amazed at the same time. So if anybody out there is a die-hard Texas Chainsaw Massacre fan, I strongly suggest that you get this dvd version of "Leatherface: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3".

Summary: The Missing OJ Scene
Review: The ORIGINAL Uncut Director's edition of TCMIII was released on VHS nearly 10 years ago. This edition had a sequence where the gasoline attendant was being confronted by the man with the gun in the swamp. The scene I'm referring to was cut out of every edition since. The gasoline attendant says " What's wrong with you O.J.? " I'm hoping this new edition has that line spliced back in as originally attended! This is the better of the sequels to the original film. Some of this film's characterizations are obviously going to be put into the newest version soon to be released in theaters this coming October. It hosts a much larger family than the other films. Great storyline, decent acting..and a great horror film for the true fans!

Review: Pay no attention to these negative reveiws! THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE, PEOPLE!!!
Just last night, I rented this from a Blockbuster, I had previously saw the origanal Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Part 2, as well and thought they were both TERROR-IFIC!!!! So, when I saw this available for a weekly purchase I thought, "well, welllllll, what have we here?!" Despite what others might say about it, this video had everything I expected: Late night, Leather-Face, A "new" cannibalistic family and new characters.One of my favorite characters (next to Leather-Face) is Benny, a tall, buff, black guy with one...cool gun (I'd like ta' see that saw of yours beat that, Leather-Face). Well anyway, the damsel in distress may have been able to escape the teeth of Leather-Face and his chainsaw, but never-the-less, Leather-Face will always be the most outrageous villain of any horror movie I'll ever see and I can gaurentee that! I could go on forever about this breath-taking peice of true horror and talk about some of the scenes and all but I'll end it right here. Would'nt want to spoil the movie for anyone who has yet to see it now, would I!? Well, it's been great talking and all but I gotta go, I think I hear a chainsaw roaring outside!

Summary: Just how 'uncut' is uncut?
Review: This is a warning review. Those expecting extreme violence in the uncut version are in for a big let down. As far as I can see the only addition to the 'R' version is a little more blood splattering on an off-camera chainsaw in the chest death. I've seen a cut where Ken Foree gets killed, Tex is caught in a man-trap, the little girl releases the hammer to Ryans head and drinks the blood from the bowl, and the ending is totally different. This is the cut people want - this is the real directors cut, before the studio and MPAA ruined it. Anyone expecting to see the scenes discussed and showed in Fangoria and Gorezone will be disappointed. The film is quite good, it's gritty and intense, but it's still a very pale version of what the first proper cut was. I have no idea what's happened to the first version (I had it as an illegal vhs copy, location sound and in 20 min reels), but it was awesome, a real horror film. Unfortunately, the censors and the studio have deprived us of Jeff Burrs vision. A real shame.

Summary: Best sequel and best Leatherface performance since original.
Review: I am a big fan of the original Chainsaw Massacre. It was a very well made and effective movie for its time. I only wish I could say the same for all of its sequels. Personally, I found part 2 to be a huge letdown, despite Tobe Hooper directing it. It turned terror into cheesiness, kind of like Evil Dead 2 except not nearly as cool. The cheese factor is just too high for me to own it. Part 4, The Next Generation, was one of the worst horror sequels I have ever seen. It was trash. If it weren't for the fact that Mathew McConaughey and Renee Zellweger both got famous 5 years after this movie's filming, I wager it would never have hit shelves. However, Leatherface, Chainsaw Massacre part 3 is the one redeemable sequel of the series. Though it features a basically different family from that of the first two movies, it is effective as an early 90s horror film, and manages to keep your attention for most of the film. Leatherface is truly brutal in this film and you won't find him whining like a little girl while putting on hose & garters and applying lipstick as he so unfortunately does in part 4. If you are a fan of the original and haven't seen this, I would encourage you to give it a try, even if you have been disappointed with parts 2 and 4 as I have. Not the best horror movie ever and not for everyone, but nonetheless a fun romp through the backwoods of Texas with your favorite chainsaw-wielding freak.

Review: This seemingly shameless 1989 prequel to the 1974 classic and it's extremely fun 1986 sequel boxoffice flop, is quite a film. I really can't stand the high leveled sickness of the cannibal family in part 4, but this one is somewhat lighter and it is entertaining and may I dare say, semi scary. The gore was high on the unrated version and the ending was good for that kind of movie, but I feel the script, acting and true horror were all lacking. Although very atmospheric, most of the movie isn't really that scary, although a few genuine scares lift it back up///This A quality DVD sure makes you see a better side of the movie, with deleted scenes, restored and all, I really think TCM 3 is worth horror fan's time with at least a rental, and If you hated it the first time around, give it another chance with this new DVD, I did, and I used to hate it, now, it's decent...

Summary: Best Texas Chainsaw Sequel to date
Review: Here is the best Sequel to the infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre. TCM 3 is a dark, tense, and mildly gorey follow-up to the 1970's classic. Multiple elements work together to make this a fright fest true to the original. Leatherface is portrayed in perhaps his best character since the first- sinister, dark, and relentless. The family as usual is also portrayed in all their dysfunction. I anticipate the arrival of this film on DVD, as all I have seen is the VHS version. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
